This is a good location to travel into Seattle or south to Olympia. The rooms are smaller than most. It would have been nice to have a spa to use during the stay. But the pool and jacuzzi were under repair.
Noteworthy details: The hotel is nestle in a great location to see the fall leaves ? ? and the beautiful colors.

Old dirty hotel with no restaurant, bar or room service (website says it does). Should not be a Hilton
Rooms: Dirty with stains on the floors. Very loud - very difficult to sleep or even talk over the noise

When checking in. I asked the front desk if they have water for my meds. They said they have two bottles in my room. I go upstairs and the water bottles are $3 each. I don't know. But it feels like hotels treat you like an atm machine rather than a person. Won't be staying here again.

UPDATE: Although I still would never stay here again, I have to give credit where credit is due. After filing a complaint with the BBB, I did receive a full refund. Hats off to them for making things right in the end.
Review for Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Renton
DO NOT STAY HERE! U WILL BE UPSET U DID & LIABLE TO BRING BEDBUGS BACK HOME WITH U AS A PARTING GIFT FOR A HORRIBLE STAY!!! Would give NEGATIVE STARS IF IT WERE AN OPTION.
We had a very disappointing experience at the Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Renton. We paid for a two-day stay but left just a few hours after check-in due to finding bedbugs in our room. The staff showed a lack of desire or ability to make things right. Initially, they agreed to switch our room, but as we were gathering our belongings, we were informed that the hotel was sold out, despite finding available rooms online.
We made two calls to customer service and were assured that the front desk would refund our money, minus $69 for the time we spent in the room. However, when we went to the front desk, the clerk said she couldn’t handle money and that we should expect a refund on our card in a few days. Instead, we received a receipt days later charging us for the entire stay, plus an unexplained charge of $38.70. In total, $289.82 was taken from our account, but the receipt did not clarify these charges.
Additionally, my husband, a Hilton team member, ended up vacuuming behind the bed and the mattress to make the situation bearable. However, he gave up after finding disgusting stains on the mattress and bug carcasses behind the bed. Despite immediately notifying the front desk of the problem upon check-in, we never received the promised refund and were not allowed to speak with management. The clerk promised that management would call us, but that never happened. Despite two 30-minute phone calls to customer service, nothing has been resolved, and nobody from Hilton has reached out to us.
We are very loyal customers who have stayed well over 30 nights in the last two months and have never had any issues until this stay. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor handling of our situation and the lack of customer service.
Rooms: Disgusting, Bedbugs & Filthy

I would not recommend staying here. The restaurant only serves breakfast, the hotel seems old with ripped carpeting. The gym was small but had good equipment. Tried to get coffee but they put everything away after breakfast, so don't sleep in or go to the gym first!

The only nice thing about this over priced place is the location. No swimming pool and no breakfast included. When I booked this hotel it said breakfast included but then I got charged for breakfast. Plus it’s old

Ok so I work for a Hilton but this one is truly awful I got here to have a spider fall onto the bed when I go to kill it I see a bunch of webs a and insect carcases call the front desk for the to tell me they can't move us so I'm like ok just give me a shop vac and I'll deal with it myself so she gave me a broom and dust pan I said to don't even have a vacuum she finally gave me an upright vacuum as well both noticed the drinking fountain was profusely leaking on the hall carpet so she put a wet floor sign and that was that I get back to my room to get up all the webs and carcases and as I move the bed I find three bugs and that was it for us we wanted our money back she tell me if we're not happy we are free tongo somewhere else and her general manager will be in on monday maybe like i said i work for a hilton but thos Hilton garden inn in renton is not the place to stay dont come here.

Not what I expected from a Hilton unfortunately.
More out of the way than it seemsd on the map.
Right before our stay we found out they also stopped providing airport shuttle which is a main reason we booked at this location.
Mold in shower not pleasant to discover.

Avoid.
The rooms are run down. Lobby looks great but that’s all. There was mold in our bathroom.
They also charge for breakfast. So for the price you’re better off staying somewhere else.

The worst of the worse Hilton experience. It does NOT even feel like a Hilton. We paid more than double the rate (we did not know that there were some tournaments held that weekend in this area and all hotels in this area were totally booked), and despite a very high daily rate, breakfast was not even included. They do not even have complimentary tea/coffee station in the lobby like most hotels do and we really needed it as we have friends in the area who visited us and we sat in the lobby and every time someone came to meet us or pick us up, they/we were looking for a hot drink. They did not have even shower gel in bathrooms or other bathroom amenities or traditional tea bags at coffee machine in the rooms. Pillows were broken in places and extremely uncomfortable and old. Room carpets did not look clean at all. I don't know how this is a Hilton property.

Here is another instance of a simple Garden Inn with a somewhat disheartening atmosphere. Despite having a bar, it remains permanently closed. The outdated rooms and lackadaisical staff give off an air of neglect. During my three-day stay in two separate rooms, both had malfunctioning coffee machines, and to add to this, the lobby was out of coffee. I can't help but feel that the quality of hotel experiences has been on the decline. As someone who frequently stays at Hilton for over 100 nights per year,my expectations are not high; just a basic level of effort would be appreciated.

Hilton Honors Members Should Avoid This Property
I was told that this property will not be a Hilton brand much longer... and it's obvious.
* Dining area is not open in the evening.
* No restaurants within walking distance.
* Worn carpeting throughout, stained carpeting in my room
* Very noisy air conditioning unit in my room.
* Unhelpful desk staff.
This property was a disappointment... it seems to be at least 3 updates behind and it's worn and dingy. When I realized the dining room wasn't open I asked the desk staff if the Casino is a good place to eat. Instead of getting a recommendation I got a flat "I don't go to the casino". When I spoke to the manager about this, she told me "The girl I asked was only 18 years old"... totally unhelpful! I didn't ask how old she was, I just wanted a recommendation about a local restaurant. BTW, don't go to the casino. When I told the manager that I was disappointed that the dining room was closed and that there was no mention of it on the website, she didn't attempt to make it right or be helpful, she just apologized. Too many other good hotels in the area to waste my time here again.

If I could leave this review with 0 stars, I would. I’m about to write a short story but I highly encourage you to read this if you’re considering staying at this hotel. My family and I were heading to Seattle and were majorly impacted by the software outages - our Delta flights were canceled going to Seattle, leading us to book new flights for $7k+. We booked two rooms at this hotel prior to leaving but arrived after having to wake up at 3 AM, a 12 hour layover in Chicago, pretty much 0 sleep at all, and landing in Seattle at approximately 1:45. My family of 6 arrived at the hotel, exhausted as ever, at 3 AM after airport chaos and the staff GAVE AWAY OUR ROOM THAT WE PAID FOR. They had 0 explanation for doing this, they just did it. It made zero sense. Every hotel in the area was completely - and I mean completely - booked because of flight cancellations. The man at the front desk tried his best to help us but ultimately, the room we paid for shouldn’t have been given away in the first place! As the 6 of us are discussing next steps, a family of 4 - who didn’t speak English - came into the hotel and the hotel had given away their room as well!!!!! What were they supposed to do?! Sleep in the car??!! There are no excuses… Finally, it was getting extremely late and we had to be up very early again, we decided that a few of us had to sleep on the floor of the 2nd hotel room that we also reserved/paid for to make it work. I had called 11 other hotels in the area and there was 0 availability. We did luckily book 2 rooms however the point I’m driving is that they gave away our 2nd room that we paid for….? How or why does that make sense????? We asked for extra blankets and sheets to create “beds” on the floor and it took an hour to gather, resulting in us going to bed between 4 and 5 AM. We woke up the next morning and the hotel still tried to charge us for the room THEY GAVE AWAY and the room we slept in … Even though a few of us had to sleep on the floor to accommodate everyone … Mind you, this is a HILTON! They have BILLIONS so to still charge us is just WILD. This experience was absolutely awful and if corporate reads this, we don’t want any vouchers for a free stay - we want this to never happen to anyone again because it was ridiculous.
