Car they gave me was not clean. They said it had a full tank of gas but it had only half tank. I asked that they call me when they had a smaller vehicle. Never received a call in over 2 weeks. They could not bring the rental to me and didn't tell me that before I needed it. Had to scrabble to get a ride to their location.

I don't think this place deserves even 1 star. The customer service at this place is beyond terrible. I had booked a full size SUV for a week and the day before I was scheduled to pick up the car, they called and left a voicemail 5 mins before they were closing down for the day to let me know that the car won't be ready till noon or even later because they weren't able to get the car. When I tried calling them back, of course, they were closed for the day and wouldn't return any of my calls. We had a family road trip planned and I needed to understand if we were going to get the car or not. On the day when I was supposed to be picking up the car, I kept calling them to find out if they had the car available, but no answer. I had to drive over to their location to find someone to talk to personally. There was no one at the counter and after waiting 15 mins, someone showed up. He started calling other places to see if they had a car I could rent. What type of a car rental business is this? Even after waiting an hour, they weren't able to locate any cars. The person at the counter just apologized, got up and left to go in the back. He told me to call other places and see if they had a car I could rent. I had to change our entire plan because of this mismanagement and miscommunication from this business. I would not recommend anyone renting a car from this Hertz location.

Rented from this location for the first time recently. Had a A+ experience. The car that I had rented had some cosmetic damage which the Hertz Branch Manager (Fadi) photo documented. The photos were e-mailed to me and took the stress out of accepting the car. Return process went smoothly as well.

They DO NOT have shuttle service to/from Paine Field, which I learned only upon my arrival and a 20 minute Uber ride later. Every other rental agency has shuttle service, but not Hertz!! Also disappointed that they did not forewarn me, when I called from the airport, that their street was closed due to major road work and I'd have to find my way in via the alley. I had booked the reservation through AAA and purchased an additional outside insurance policy. When checking in, they tried to convince me to purchase their insurance policy, saying they didn't know if my outside policy would actually cover any damages. Luckily, I had a copy of the policy I purchased and it clearly stated what was covered, but the gentleman still tried pushing me to purchase their policy. Didn't appreciate that, and heard him doing it to someone else as well. I'm giving them 2 stars because the other young man who helped us was very accommodating when we asked to switch to a bigger SUV upon arrival, and quickly prepared another car for us. We were happy with the car and the free upgrade, also contributing to 2 stars rather than 1.

Fadi Freij was great to deal with and my car was fine for the task. Those are the reasons I gave them 3 stars. I arranged for a pickup a day earlier and it never showed up (Hertz corporate, not this location). After several follow up calls I got a call back from Hertz telling me they're sending a car now already an hour late. The store has no evening or weekend drop-off and evening can start as early as 5 pm. That's pretty harsh for a service outfit. So, I'd give Hertz another chance due to the branch manager, but the details matter.

Waste of time! I called the day before my reservation to make sure thatI had everything they needed to rent a car. ( Mind you, I have rented via Hertz many times before) When I got there, they said that my credit score wouldnt allow them to rent a car to me. I JUST rented a car from them back in May. I am confused. All I know is that they should of pre screened or something instead of wasting my time traveling via bus. I am just going to stick with Enterprise when it comes down to renting a car

I have been standing at the Hertz counter for over 1 hour, waiting for the staff member to show up. This guy apparently left his work phone on his desk and disappeared. It's 5pm now. My rental car reservation was supposed to be 4:30pm. There are two other ladies from California waiting to get their car, outraged, because they need to drive a couple hours to catch the last ferry of the day and get to their hotel. Unfortunately they will probably miss the ferry and not get to the hotel they booked. Now we're all trying to call Hertz corporate to see what can be done. This is a nightmare for any traveler. Still waiting...

Do not try to rent a card here. Its ridiculous! Never had I had to do a credit check using a debit card renting a car. Guy was an a*** please go somewhere else because I do not trust a plus as hertz in a random area without the right discretion. Customer service is s*** and so are the workers. RENTERS BEWARE

Hertz rental center at this location charges 8% "Concession fee recovery" and cars for rent are very basic and minimal choice. Even if you inform and extend car rental, you will be charged "late return fee" for which you need to call customer care to get rid of those charges at their mercy. They will only offer basic car, even though you order mid-range car. Hertz Front desk doesn't even print the receipt at the end of your rental and informs that you will get bill in email, only for the fact of not exposing the hidden charges. I highly recommend not to rent from this location.

This Hertz site went above and beyond expectations. We received a free upgrade, Reminded me of my AAA discount, and free car rental return at the airport; can't beat that. We were very grateful for the bonuses and service.
