i absolutely loved this goodwill. i travel from chelan to renton alot and this was my favorite place. i filled carts for my 2 annual trips there a year.i was completely blown away by the disrespect and complete audacity of the manager. the taller darker skinned gentlemen. he was 100% out of line and i hope someone holds him accountable for his wreckless slanderous accusations. i had procedure done at uw and went shopping next day. h came up and accused me of stealing the week before. i was humiliated and discusted. he didnt even listen to me when it came to living in chelan and not here. he was on a ego trip and coming to a innocent person with such damaging accussations can have major dire effects. not only causing me anxiety but a phobia of being called out again. this store knows he is awful at being rude. id remind him of slander laws

We live in Olympia, so it's a task to come to this Goodwill, but go to it we do at least three times a year because it's in a good neighborhood and you never know what's in store. If you like physical media, this is the place to check out their vast collection. We actually found a VHS copy of Anne of Avonlea, which you can't even stream unless you have a subscription to a certain app. Sis loves finding tchotchkes, clothes, and furniture. It's always worth looking to find sports equipment if you want to try out a sport but don't know if you're going to love it. Want to own your own bat for the batting cages? Get one here for five bucks. Want to get the 10 cent discount/20 star bonus at Starbucks but don't want to pay for a $30 vacuum flask? Buy a used mug here and keep it in your trunk. Yes, I know we're supposed to hate on Goodwill because they're less a charity and more a for-profit these days, but you can feel good about giving a second life to things that would have ended up in a landfill because someone didn't value their perfectly good stuff anymore. One man's garbage is another man's treasure so if you want to do the world a solid, this is a pretty good place to do it, plus you can save a buck or two.

Hands down, best goodwill I've been to. Hits nearly every time. They have about as much new clothes with tags as Pre-owned. They are pricier than most so definitely shop the deals of the day. I can't ever get out of there for under $50 bucks it's unbelievable how good the clothing selection is for women. Good jewelry too. AND COATS OMG IF YOU NEED A MICHAEL KORS, ANNE KLIEN, REI, NORTHFACE, MARMOT, EDDIE BAUER....u name it... you will find an amazing selection.I purchased a brand new white puffy jacket priced at $350 online, a Michael Kors long coat slightly puffy down coat (sale tag for 14.50 after discount) all my furniture. A marble side table. Brand new couch. Brand new coffee + waffle maker, coffee table, new area rug, shelves, trunks, dishes, pots, pans, lamps, EVERYTHING.

Conveniently located on Sunset. Usually well organized inside with a decent selection. Donation lane typically not very busy, especially during non-peak times.

Plenty of time to go shopping for things you need. But not for things to buy. Useful items to get started.

The Renton Goodwill is incredibly well organized compared other ones I've been to in Washington State.Overall: Unremarkable and overpriced inventory. The clothes and books remain well stocked.Unfortunately, Goodwill now ships the better items to Goodwill's online auction website.Evergreen Goodwill still has a lot to offer, but the days hunting for gems are all but gone. It's not all bad news: Goodwill has not done away with color tag sales, where you can get anywhere from 30% to 50% off depending on the day, and at the end of the tag cycle - 70% discount.(Renton Goodwill ya no ofrece ventas de etiquetas de 99 dólares, sino que se reemplaza con una venta con un descuento del 70% en impuestos. en Tacoma y Olympia todavía tienen los días de venta de etiquetas de $1.99)Note: The Evergreen Goodwill region has replaced the $1.99 tag day with a 70% off tag day. The Olympics and Rainier Region continues to offer the $1.99 tag days.Goodwill is an electronics recycling collection point. They will take old computers, TVs, and other electronic devices, working or not.

Better pricing than other Goodwill's. Weird. Pricing is all over the map. Some things are thrift store prices, other items are near new prices. Makes me wonder if there is any strategy to how they price things or if it's just up to whoever is assigned to price things each day.

They are way over priced. These are donations which means it was freeSo why then are they charging a 10$ difference on a framed poster which was first sold at Ross for 34.00 and Goodwill's price was 23.00 "SHAME ON YOU GOODWILL".

Every single time I come here the employees are rude. One ran over my foot with her cart today and told me “that’s what you get for being in the way” ? even though I wasn’t moving and she ran into me.As other reviews have mentioned, the prices are ridiculous here. $15-$20 for heavily used athletic clothing just because it is brand name, when that is almost the price for it brand new. What really made me write the review is online and on the door of the store it says they take contactless payment (Apple Pay) and the employees all claim they don’t. If you don’t that’s fine, but you really should fix your signage. My new card is being mailed and all I have is contactless right now, so I came because it was advertised. If you want kinder staff and better pricing, I would go somewhere else. Salvation Army in Tukwila has much fairer prices.

Since the remodel which pushed books and media to the back, there seems to be more stuff but not as much of interest. Toys occasionally has some good stuff but prices have crept upwards so it's longer as great a bargain.

Most items here are priced like new or even more. If you do find something reasonably priced, make sure it's on an official Goodwill sticker. I found one item with only one visible price tag, $5, and when I went to have it rung up, there was another price tag on the inside of the box marked $25. The manager, Hardit, was rude and refused to budge on the price. The cashier tried to explain that it was an antique that was probably from the 1950s. It said it was made in 1996 right on the box. It feels an awful lot like a bait-and-switch to me. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different thrift shop... Or just buy it new for the same price.
