Let's get something straight. I have shopped here since this store was built. Have. liked the location and employee. Today, we went in for some shopping and a tv, as ours is going out. My shopping was fine, check out was good and the two employees in the electronics department were helpful. I have not been a fan of them closing the garden center entrance/exit. we tried to go through the coffee shop. Showed the officer our receipts, and the cart locks at the entrance. NO signs telling me this. Then we ask if we can go though the other door. Answer is no. we are parked right there!! very embarrassing to me and not called for. I am sadly aware of the thefts in this store. I am not one of them! need more signs and a better way of treating customer. This is not the case at the other Fred Meyers I shop at. Next time I will NOT spend my $$$ there and go somewhere else. Employees are very good.

Well stocked, clean store. Seafood counter is exceptional in choices as well as knowledgeable and friendly staff! Bruce is awesome!! Easy self checkout but enough cashiers for larger lists. Don't even mind showing my receipt on exiting.

Beware of racial discrimination at its finest here if you are a person of color. I will be reporting them to their higher up corporate office due to this. This type of business is unacceptable when you are serving communities of color. I was in self check out and had only about 7 items. I scanned one item and put it in the bag. I proceed to scan another item and put it in the bag which was dish soap if we’re going to be technical. As I’m trying to place it in the bag it kept giving me a error code of needing an attendant because the system was not properly reading the weight of this item or something as I mentioned before it was already scanned. So upon this I let the lady know who works at the first self check out know this. She then goes to look at the system while I stand there, (where it shows your recorded) and sees I scanned it! Tell me why it kept giving me the same error code 3 times and she checked the camera 3 times y’all. You have to be kidding me!! I wanted to laugh, I told her you see I already scanned this item and it is in my hand why are you checking the system multiple times. I go on to say that “do you want to check my bags” she looked in my bags, but didn’t with her hands. I only had one item in a bag! So I then later call to speak to a manager. Manager gives me a number to Kroger but turns out it’s a dead end. I will be reporting this store for racial practices like this. Why is it that the Fred Meyers in Bellevue doesn’t check receipts at the door? Why did this self check out lady look at the camera 3 times??? Clearly she wasn’t doing her job properly and shouldn’t be working there. I went on a Thursday during the day around 11am. Do your best to shop elsewhere if you can unless you want to encounter them profiling you.

It was a good shopping experience with no problems. The gas price dropped a few cents from the last bought. I wish they go back to coupon clipping. Some people don't have a smart phone to download the app to get the discount, but they are members of the program. Safeway offered it, so I shop there more.

On January 5th, around 11:40 am, the female cashier at lane 14, who was on duty, exhibited severe racial discrimination! Extremely frustrating! At that time, there were quite a few customers waiting in line. I noticed she was about to start working at the new register on lane 14. I approached and waited for her, and others also saw it. However, they chose not to move to the new lane. Interestingly, when I asked her if she was starting her shift, she replied affirmatively but insisted on serving others first! Consequently, almost everyone from the adjacent lane moved to her side. I won't shop here again in the future, a truly unpleasant experience.

Today, I had to go back at Fred Meyer because the blanket I purchased- tags were still attached. No wonder when I came out from the store it alarmed. The customer service line was long and there is no way i’m going to waste my time just for a single item. So I was looking around to see if I could get any help but the employees at fred meyer’s seemed like they are overstimulated because they saw me and didn’t even try to ask if I need help! So, I finally saw these 2 woman talking and I didn’t want to interrupt. So I stood behind them, they knew I was standing there but chose to pretend they didn’t see me. So, this woman “Netta” finally turned her head at me and I spoke and explained, she didn’t even say anything she looked overstimulated too, so she grabbed my blanket and walked to the nearest cashier and removed the tags. I said thank you she did not respond.My thing is, even when you are stressed at work don’t let it control you. It is not professional at all, you came to work because you want to earn money you didn’t punched your timecard just to be so dismissive. nobody wants to work in fast paced, busy environment but the least you could is to stay professional.

Did some last minute Christmas shopping. They were better stocked than I expected. Good sales on some things very over-priced on others.

My personal opinion is that they seem a little expesive almost like the up the price then mark it down 70 percent because the price it ends up being should be the price it starts at.

If your a person with disabilities, Fred Myer Benson is not for you. If your a disabled person and in need of a mobility scooter so that one may try to pick their prescriptions and groceries Fred Myer Customer Service and their pharmacy will not accommodate you at all. I am a disabled person who cant walk because my right hip is broken and the left hip is fractured and I would need a mobility scooter to get around and so I drove near an entrance to see if a scooter was available and I did and so I called customer service and talked to the clerk and she said we will bring it to you, and so I wait for 20 minutes and nothing and so I call again to customer service and again I was told to wait and so another 30 minutes go by and nothing. I call a thired time and this time I was told that they gave the scooter to somebody else. I attempted to pick up my prescription from Fred Myer for two days now and I still cant get any help? Its time to swtich pharmacies and grocery stores.

I love this store. The store is great. There is an employee named James who shouldn't be working anywhere in customer service. He has no respect for a disabled customer after they were overcharged. There shouldn't be a problem with returning money. You shouldn't go to your car and come back in for the $26.42 and wait in line for 7 people when you can barely stand. There isn't anywhere for you to wait. People who are disabled go through so much. It's like the heck with your disabled behind. I'm sick of the mistreatment at all places of business. Get it together, employee James!

I shop here frequently as an instacart shopper, and now shop here for most groceries myself. I was checking their holiday hours and I was surprised to see so many negative recent reviews. The staff have been very helpful, and I am glad to have security at the door. One time someone followed me in from the parking lot at night, and I was so relieved to have someone there when I was coming into the building. The food seems to be fresher and better stocked than other stores in the area.

I came to Fred Meyer to buy a lot of things, but I didn't go there to buy a phone plan. This locations AT&T stand is right behind the registers so you have to walk by them. I always give them the same answer every time I walk by, but it's never the same two people working there. I've switched over to Safeway because the last thing I want after after a food bill that gets higher and higher is a guilt trip.
