Great community to live in. Staff is very friendly and helpful especially Lia. Been living here for over an year in a renovated apartment with modern interior and new appliances. The new management is making lot of renovations and the amenities are much better now compared to year ago. Close to lot of places like grocery store, restaurants, pharmacy and bus stops. Highly recommend the newly renovated apartments!!

Our experience so far with Cascadia at Fairwood Landing has been excellent. The apartment is newly renovated and looks amazing. I was on a very tight schedule and Lia Brown was incredibly accommodating to my needs and went out of her way to make the experience as good as possible. Very warm and professional customer service. The units are very nice and the location is unbeatable.

My partner and I worked with leasing manager Lia Brown and to say that she was amazing would be an understatement! Lia was ON TOP of it for us. She was very diligent about our application process and her response time was very quick. The entire process was so seamless with her support; she was very informative and knowledgeable about the entire process, and was able to answer all of our questions! I would highly recommend her and this property to anyone looking to lease. The amenities are amazing, the neighborhood is relatively quiet, and the property was recently renovated, not to mention the support we had throughout the entire process was great. 10/10 ✨

Negative leasing experience
I am curious if and how others get to talk to anyone in person from leasing office, my attempt has been unsuccessful to meet anyone in the office.
Have several calls with people from call center, they always promise to have someone onsite to follow up with me, never get a call back.
Call to ask what’s the office hour, get routed to call center which has no info. Decided to came in person multiple saturdays, door always locked, no hours posted on door, office hour on website seem inaccurate ? Or they never open the office at all? Always asked to text a virtual team which has little information about the apartment so not helpful at all. For any questions i have, they refer me back to the apartment website which i already got the info. Available, i am asking for info. Which is not available on the website.
Very concerned about moving /living here , nobody onsite to get help from?

First and foremost - Lia is absolutely amazing. I had some difficulty moving in due to no fault of this company and she kept me informed even with the most minor of details and constantly encouraged me while I worked hard to resolve the issue. She was professional, kind and gave me the warmest welcome; this was invaluable as I was making a difficult transition at the time. She is deeply invested in the well being of her tenants, constantly going above and beyond. She did things like check in on me, asked about my son, because I had told her that he was autistic. The most incredible thing she said to me was that it would be a learning experience and that she was open to it so that she could extend that same support to another parent who might move in. This was so amazing; to know that someone was willing to put in that level of effort even when her own workload is heavy managing the needs of other tenants. I told her I needed a parking space close to my apartment because I am a woman living alone and my son is often anxious about being left in the apartment alone while I do things like carry groceries inside or take out the trash and this fear could cause him to elope and she went out of her way to make that happen.
The community itself is, for the most part, very quiet. The apartments are beautiful; newly renovated with brand new appliances. You can tell they are working hard to keep improving the quality of living. Everyone I have talked to at the office has anticipated my needs and handled things promptly. Maintenance is kind and efficient. I think that some of the older reviews are not an accurate reflection of the current management. So far living here has been a great experience for me, especially as a single mother.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. My car was stolen 4 times off of the property along with multiple neighbors. They say there is night patrol but that is complete bull. It looks nice when you tour and first move in but the issues start almost immediately. They charge a $65 convenience fee just to pay rent online. Plus over $200 for utilities for one person. I moved in during the summer and due to the heat I left my lights off majority of the time and the heat off and my bill was still incredibly high. They charge over $60 for trash when there is only one bin per 5-8 buildings and you bring it down yourself. If your rent is a few days late they lock you out of paying on the online portal and you have to pay to send a cashiers check to San Francisco. I had to do that when I first moved in due to the portal not working and them not knowing how to fix it. They will also try to charge for previous tenants mistakes when you move out, they tried to charge me for repainting some spots on the wall that were slightly more shiny then others even though I have video from 30 seconds after I got the keys showing that it was there upon move in. I also left it cleaner then when I moved in and they still tried to charge a professional cleaning fee that was stated on the lease that would not do if the apartment was adequately cleaned. When I moved in there was nail polish spots on the carpet, the screws holding up the doors were loose, green gunk on the doorframes, gum in the washer stuck to the side and the inside of the cabinets were dirty. The garbage disposal also did not work from the second I moved in and I had to have family come and help me fix it. They do not reply half the time and the office was continuously closed. Not to mention the constant inconvenience of leaving notes about fireplace cleaning and more and then not coming the day or even the week stated and then planning on another time so you have to leave pets locked up constantly or take the time off work to wait The apartment behind mine was burned down the month before I moved in and I was not told whatsoever that they would be rebuilding it or what had happened so I was dealing with hearing construction almost the entire year I lived there sometimes starting at 6 am not ending until after 7pm. Two weeks before I gave birth to my son the power went out due to the construction, they dug deeper then they should have while knowing they weren’t supposed to go down that far and knocked out the power and did not have it fixed for almost 48 hours. Also multiple neighbors complained about mold in the units, one was so bad due to apartment maintenance negligence that my neighbor had to move and they tried charging her for the move to another unit and the damage from the mold that she did not cause.

First of all I want to get a shout-out to Lia Brown, since she's been working here she has been a wonderful director, at Cascadie Firewood apartments, getting out all the kinks, thanks for all your help.☺️.
