Over the years we've enjoyed getting excellent quality doors, lamps, etc. for a fraction of new prices, feeling happy to keep things out of landfills.”

“I am your average home owner who doesn't know too much about home improvements but I am glad I stopped by this store. I have some 2x4s on my fence that are dislocated and I want to fasten them back to the fence post, but didn't know what's the best way to do it. So I stopped by Ironmill and asked for recommendations which they freely gave and sold me the proper hardware to get the job done. Their hardware person even went through the trouble of locating a box of deck screws that are brown in color so that it will match the color of my 2x4s. Very impressed.Service is fantastic and this will now be my go-to store for any hardware I need.”

“TO,DR: Steven is very helpful. Amazing customer service. We were building floating bookshelves but had little experience on how to go about it. We were very small retail customers given the size of their business but Steven was extremely patient and helpful to a couple of DIY noobs, walking us through their very large yard to look at many different types of wood. One thing to call out: They called us over saying delivery was ready. I drove and loaded up my car only to discover it was the wrong size of wood. Bummer because it was a 40 min ride both ways. So better to call ahead to confirm specs”

Leslie has a large selection and her prices, as previous reviewers mentioned, were very close (if not matched) online prices. After ordering some hardware online only to be disappointed with the quality and having to hassle with sending them back, it was a bonus to be able to see them in her shop and deal with someone local. Leslie was also very helpful with providing advice on what size to order and was prompt to respond via email whenever we had questions.”

“I had a really nice experience at this place, I was looking to replace my countertop with a quartzite slab and was just amazed as soon as I entered their showroom, Fantastic selection in granite and quartzite and they also have a huge variety in white marble, possibly the largest I have seen so far compared to other places we've been. The staff was friendly and welcoming, without pressure but they were there when you need them. Warehouse was quite clean&organized. After a long but pleasant walk through, I narrowed down to few colors & finally picked my 2 slabs, everything worked out great.”

“We were helping my daughter put together her new bedframe. One of the screws would not go in. It turns out they forgot to tap that particular hole to receive a screw. I took the part and the screw to this Home Depot. The person in tools determined the size of the screw and pointed me to the appropriate tap and tap handle. I successfully used these and we were able to finish assembling the bed frame. Excellent customer service!”

“In a world that focuses on the negative I would like to tell Lowes that their store in Midway Kent store has customer service that cannot be matched. David in paint should get recognition for gold star bend over backwards service. I purchased 5 gallon paint cans that are very heavy. He loaded them for me onto a flatbed and shook them and was genuine in his service. As I was checking out I asked for help out and a very nice young man who was going to clock out for the day stopped came over to help take the large flatbed to my car. He smiled and chatted with me and put all the cans in my car with a smile and took the flatbed back for me. This kind of service should be recognized and if you are looking for trainers you have some great ones to consider in that store. Thank you for such great service! Keep up the Great Work!!”

“The guys from Lowes just delivered and installed the new frig (delivered in my garage) and took away the old one. I couldn't ask for better service. My kitchen doors are a bit narrow, (what did builders think in the 60's). They had the tools to adjust the door and got the old frig out and installed the new one.
