I had a great experience at the 44th street salon! Everyone working there is super friendly, they all seem to get along well and enjoy what they’re doing. I got a cut and color from Thuy and she did an amazing job. I have extremely long, thick hair that’s been dyed so much I couldn’t even give my stylist a realistic hair history. Thuy was somehow able to lighten my dark hair to the exact color I wanted in one session. It was a long session but in the past it would have taken me at least 3 sessions to get these results. She was also able to thin out my hair so it’s not as heavy, but blend the layers really well. Worth every penny and I’ll definitely be back!Services: Haircut

My experience with Jenny as my hair stylist has been amazing! She's extremely talented and knows how to cut lots of different styles. I've a done a two-block, wolf cut, and now a modified 60/40 gentlemen's cut with Jenny. They all turned out great! I appreciate the time she takes to communicate and walk me through each step of the way. I've learned a lot about my own hair because of this. Highly recommend!

Jenny C. is my hairstylist and she does an amazing job every time. I usually get a cut and color here. She is professional, extremely detail-oriented and goes above and beyond to ensure I'm happy with the finished product. Highly recommend her as a stylist!

I have always had a hard time finding a perfect salon until I found 44th St Salon. Heather an amazing person and very talented hair stylist and I trust her with my life. I didn't know what I wanted and heather did a great job with a consultation to achieve something that would work perfectly for me. I recommend her to anyone. The salon has a wonderful ambiance and very well kept. All of the staff there is amazing.

Everytime I get my hair done here, I feel so beautiful with the result! Tia the owner is an amazing color artist who has brought all of my hair goals to life! From platinum blonde to balayages to dark brown back to light. She does it all beautifully. I would trust any of her staff to do my hair as well. I get my hair done by Amy too sometimes and she always kills it! Book with her! Both times I’ve come in, I felt unwelcomed. The girls aren’t really friendly but I gave it another shot since the work that I’ve seen on their IG page was really good. I had a dimensional balayage done by Jenny and although it wasn’t terrible, it was definitely not what I asked for. She’s been in the industry less than 2 years and for what I got, definitely not worth the price I paid for. She was also unnecessarily aggressive when handling my hair?? Tugging at it and pulling out a few healthy hairs. It hurt a few times and I should’ve said something. I don’t go to the salon very much so speaking up and knowing what things are normal and not normal can be difficult to distinguish. We didn’t talk much but at one point I asked if she liked her job. Based off her answer, it seems like she doesn’t enjoy her job very much and it’s clear through her work/aura. This is your sign to switch careers. I also had a difficult time getting scheduled but that’s a whole other story. I am super disappointed with this salon, I expected much more. Don’t be fooled

The owner Tia and most of her staff (not all) are very unfriendly. You never feel welcomed unless you’re Asian with thin hair, naturally blond, or her regular.If you have a thicker hair they won’t like you.Mrs Tia you work with public and in a beauty industry. It supposed to be a fun and good experience for clients to come see the stylist Please be little nicer to customer when they walk in to your salon.

Just want to shout out how AMAZING Ken is! He does the most beautiful seamless hair extensions and blended my hair absolutely perfect! I’ve never loved my hair more than when I’ve gone to Ken and 44th street salon!!!! Just had to share some pics because they just turned out beyond expectations! Ken does book up fast though so I love that he gets everything booked in advance with my move-up and future installation appointments. This is my 3rd time (had gotten a balayage in November and toned in January for my wedding) here and this time I was debating on going blonde. Chai was so helpful and educational- she assured me that an ash blonde would look great with my skin tone and I could not be happier with the results! I had talked to Thuy about getting wispy bangs vs curtain bangs and she was very helpful in helping me decide.I also really appreciate the time Chai took to educate me on hair maintenance and recommending products to try. 100% recommend!Services: Balayage

Book with Yin! She tirelessly worked on my bleach and tone for 5+ hours while cracking jokes with me throughout. The level of detail that she went at my hair was insane. Look…I’ve bleached my hair myself in college and it was fine but I now leave it to the pros to do it! It’s such a big difference. She gave me a shadow root too *chefs kiss*At the end I was exhausted and she asked me if I wanted to curl my hair and I was like “nah I’ve sat in this chair enough” and she was like “it will be 8 more minutes to do it!” So I agreed and was blown away by how it looked and she could’ve just sent me out the door without styling it but she had that determination to finish what she started. The salon has great stylists who are very friendly and helpful. Their customer service is excellent and the salon is always very clean and tidy.I have Jenny (Instagram @jenc.artistry) cut my hair and she always does an excellent job! She is great at working with me to cut and style my hair in the way I imagined.The shop is conveniently located just off 405. Well worth the drive from Seattle!
