The locked doors at this location are frankly quite ridiculous, even compared to other anti-shoplifting policies I’ve seen. God forbid you wish to buy deodorant. I feel very bad for these employees- they are being stretched very thin across an enormous store. This company does not appear to respect its employees or trust its customers. I hope that they reflect upon this decision, especially with so many other options close by.

There is much to like about the Redmond Target store: unlike the downtown Seattle store, this one was clean and reasonably well-organized. Also, the prices were good and the bathrooms were clean. But, check-out was slow because lines were very long at both self-check-out and manned registers. After standing for too long, a register opened near me, and I finally got to check out.

This is our favorite Target store in the area. For the first time in what seems like years, they have been staffed enough to open additional registers when the front end is crowded.

If you’re going to lock everything up then have the staff present to assist customers. Totally ridiculous that every time I need baby formula I have to hunt around the entire store for a staff member no one ever answers the paging. If you don’t want a physical store and only drive up then implement that.

Just went to target to buy some items I needed and had to use the self checkout and needed an item to be taken out of the container but the person was busy trying to put new receipt paper roll and didn’t want to bother her so I went to the customer service, at 6:15pm there was a male with glasses who I asked nicely to unlock the box and I had the receipt to show him that I have already bought it. He thought the cashiers might have missed it but I told him I was at self check out and the person was busy and didn’t want to bother. He was nice to say I got that for you, but then made a joke comment which made me very uncomfortable. He said “ here are your drugs” loud and clear and started laughing and including a female who was scanning items were just laughing. I have never felt so embarrassed that I had to leave quickly… never have felt so embarrassed at this location ever. They need to at least keep it to themselves instead of saying that out loud.

Giving two stars for this particular Target because the middle-aged female employee wearing glasses behind the Returns/Exchanges desk was rude AF. It wasn't until she called another associate to help with me that made me realize her attitude is the problem. The other associate and the team leader were both professional, helpful, and most importantly friendly. That middle-aged employee though, she wasn't even wearing a uniform and she was casting looks of contempt at me!

Have been shopping here for years. Stopped in for a vaccination, figured I'd do some shopping, but half the stuff I needed was locked up... I'm not going to bother someone or wait around for a bottle of vitamins or a tube of toothpaste when I can go to Fred Meyer, QFC, or Safeway and buy them without the hassle. 5 stars for the CVS pharmacy staff (pay them better!), 2 stars for Target and this misguided policy. Boo.
