They are knowledgeable and easy too deal with. I had a separate stereo tuner issue. Recommendations were made and no upsell beyond what I needed to solve my issue. Even helped by phone when I was hooking it back into my system with a problem. Honest advice was very helpful.Highly recommend at any time.

Bert makes Seattle Hifi a delightful place to demo gear, trade in equipment, and ultimately purchase the next item in your hifi journey. His approachable and fun attitude make it easy to talk about anything, which is especially great because Bert has so much experience! Never one to talk you into spending more just for the sake of it, you always know you’re getting the best gear for you at the time for your circumstances! I couldn’t recommend this spot more :)

Love this shop enough to drive from Oregon ! Super helpful, honest and professional folks here, What else do you need an a top-notch stereo store? But seriously I love these guys and travel from one state over just because of the joy of dealing with them, that's how much I like them and I'm incredibly picky. Whether it's home theater or dedicated to channel system I don't care if you're in a 500 mile radius these guys are worth dealing with for sure!"nuff said"

Had no idea this caliber of shop was in my back yard. I phoned and got honest thoughtful answers, not a sales push. I came in for a demo and there was zero pressure. Showed me a terrific streamer DAC (Lumin T2) and a/b'd it from the model I already owned. These guys know their hifi, and they assembled a demo system that was one of the best I've heard in a long while. They also offered a very reasonable price for my trade in, and that sealed the deal. I wish every hifi experience was this pleasant. I'm thoroughly enjoying my Lumin T2. Thanks again!

Burt is simply amazing! Excellent customer service, easy to work with, and you can tell he loves what he does.He is not about selling but making sure you get the system that fits your need and taste. In fact, when I first called him regarding my need, he provided his honest opinion and referred me to a brand that he doesn't even carry or sell. I ended up going back to him with more discussion, loaning various speakers and systems to find the best match. On top of all the experiences, Burt provides reasonable pricing in the market to take care of his customer. No shop in the area can beat this. If you are in the area, please make sure to visit before buying from another Hi-Fi store

During this new crazy times we live in, I decided to expand our entertainment system and improve the audio listening satisfaction. I started my quest with online retailers, but they were lacking some of the stock, various brands, and knowledge of some of the modern DAC systems out there. This had me looking for that "something" that was a little bit better within my budget. This is where I found myself googling retail shops within driving distances that would check off my boxes "Not a pushy salesman, Listening to what I was trying to accomplish, and not a flake" . I found a few, but after a few long conversations with Burt, I knew I found that "gem" in the ever changing audio world that really requires that special person to be a subject matter expert to understand what's available for our needs. He genuinely cares! I have played in a few Seattle bands, and it was nice to know of some of his accomplishments for sound recording studios that folks also used his expertise. So that just added to me wanted to start my sound adventure with Seattle Hi-Fi. I didn't want to get all "Techie" as I figured Burt could worry about that for me. Since sound is subjective I sort of gave Burt some ideas of what I liked to hear, and view. Wow, did he hit it out of the park for what I was looking for, and well within my budget. Eye popping OLD TV, Great power Amps, Cables, Atmos Speakers, Network music player, Av pre-amp, and a few more goodies. If I went online I would have spent more money, missed some of the brands he recommended and the countless conversations we had to answer my questions. Also, I was able to even offer some of my old equipment for sale, and allowed to try some demo gear before I made the purchase. Seriously! Few places do that, because they care about you achieving your goals. Thanks again Burt.. I thank you Burt, for the helping me in setting up this excellent HIFI sound system with Great movie watching capabilities. You truly are one of the great ones, and I for one will be back over and over and over if I need anything! I trust you and your ears! Take Care Ian

Seattle Hi-Fi does an amazing job. They answered our emails and messages promptly and were so easy to communicate with. We needed a new TV and wanted to install surround sound in our media room as well as a home audio system. Seattle Hi-fi brainstormed with us and gave us advice that fit our expectations and our media room. They were punctual for both appointments and the prices were fair and competitive. Our order was placed and the items arrived along the expected timeline and the installation process was efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and now we have a beautiful TV and surround sound that rivals a movie theater! We all love Friday movie nights in our home media room. Thanks Seattle Hi-Fi!

Let me start by saying that I don't usually leave reviews. Not for good service and not for bad service. Just isn't usually my thing. But I would be doing all of you looking for an honest and knowledgable expert in A/V a disservice by not recommending Burt at Seattle Hi-Fi. I'm no stranger to stereo and tv equipment so I thought I knew exactly what I needed to replace my 12 year old audio system and plasma tv. He listened very closely to my goals and recommended a little homework so I could become familiar with current technology. I loved the fact that he didn't make me feel stupid when I, in hindsight, asked pretty stupid questions. I gave Burt a budget and we actually came in quite a bit under that budget! I think that really says a lot in this type of business where it seems people are always trying to upsell you. My setup now (LG OLED/DVD, Denon, KEF, Logitech remote) sounds and looks amazing. I don't think I'll ever go to the theatre again TBH. Not when I can just pop in a 4k UHD disc, plop down on the couch and be immersed in amazing sound and video in my own home. Movie night is something to get excited about again. Thanks again Seattle Hi-Fi!
