Great care given on our initial visit with my dog. Dr. Hoover and her staff were fantastic. Professional yet caring. She was able to do a blood draw without my dog even noticing! Can def recommend.

Our golden retriever was suffering with abdominal pain and we had just been turned away from another urgent care due to a staffing issue. These amazing folks were also over booked but took our pup in and got him feeling better. They were kind and thorough. We can't thank them enough!

One star because if I don’t put my review won’t be able to post!
I regret to say that I cannot recommend this urgent care clinic for your pets.
From the outset, the policies here are quite concerning. They do not accept walk-ins, which is perplexing for an urgent care facility. In emergencies, quick access to care is crucial, and an appointment-only system adds unnecessary stress to an already distressing situation.
I scheduled an appointment for my dog for 3 PM, anticipating timely medical attention due to his severe paw wound. However, when I arrived, the reality was far from what I expected. After an hour and a half of waiting in the examination room, I felt compelled to check in with the front desk to understand the delay. To my dismay, the secretary informed me that there were still two other patients ahead of me and that I could expect an additional hour of waiting.
This news was incredibly disheartening. Seeing my dog in pain while feeling helpless in the waiting room heightened my anxiety and frustration. It’s unfathomable to me that an urgent care clinic, which should prioritize emergency situations, could allow such a lengthy wait. I had expected that making an appointment would ensure timely service, but instead, I found myself questioning the efficiency and compassion of the staff.
What added to my disappointment was the lack of communication during the wait. There was no proactive mention of delays or estimates of how long it would take, which would have been a small courtesy in a stressful situation. A simple heads-up that the clinic was running behind schedule could have alleviated some of my concerns and helped me manage the situation better.
In summary, if you are seeking urgent care for your beloved pets, I strongly encourage you to consider other options. Pets deserve timely and compassionate care, especially when they are in pain, and unfortunately, this clinic fell short of that standard. Please take your four-legged family members to a place that prioritizes their well-being and thoroughly respects your time.

Absolutely amazing! So thankful to have found a vet near us that is thorough with their information and attentive to hearing our concerns. All the staff were kind and patient.
My two dogs and cat had wellness checks done and we had the opportunity to meet Dr. Wilson. Dr. Wilson was informative, engaging, and we never felt pressured into anything. Dr. Wilson explained pro/cons to each direction. All of our questions were looked into for all my babies.
I really liked that after your vet appointment you get a vet summary [not immediately] of all that was talked about at the visit, Dr. Wilson included all the details we talked about and I am thankful I can go back and review them and now that they are saved in my files. Thankful to have found a permanent vet.
Thank you Dr. Wilson!

We just moved to the area not long ago and needed to establish a new vet for our cat. The team at Redmond-Kirtland Animal Hospital made the process easy. Dr. Wilson was very approachable, explained things thoroughly, and put together a plan for our pet's well-being. We were provided with a list of options and quotes for every item. The prices were reasonable, and we never felt like we were trying to be forced into buying anything services or products we didn't need. We highly recommend this vet!

Very kind and considerate! I’m a first time pet owner and also have a speech impediment, but everyone was patient with me and answered any questions I had.

Did our cats' annual checkup with Dr. Endicott and care team. Everyone was friendly and patient with us, as they answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. They are quite busy and we scheduled our appointment about a month in advance. They respond to email quickly and front desk is easily reachable during business hours.

I brought my dog to the urgent care in a panic straight from the park when I noticed her eye was swelling, rolling to the back and struggling to open. Our usual vet didn't have any appointments for the day and recommended this. All the staff we encountered were so kind and patient with myself and my Lily bug. I didn't call ahead of time as I came straight from the park, so I definitely appreciate them still accepting her and fitting her in. Her other eye started showing similar symptoms while we were waiting and they were able to come reassure me while we waited. They treated Lily for an allergic reaction to a possible bite or sting and her eyes were looking better within 30 minutes. The pictures are within 45 minutes of each other. The entire process took less than an hour and prices for an urgent care were very reasonable. Dr. Birchmeier and her assistant were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and explained everything. Lily is my family and the staff at RKAH treat your pet this way. Their lobby is also decorated impeccably for fall! lol. Thank you so much from an easily panicked pet parent!

I would not recommend if you have a senior dog. Redmond-Kirkland animal hospital has been our primary vet since we moved here in 2018 and have been doing annual check with them. Our 14 years old german shepherd has been having UTI on and off for the last two years. Every time we call to see if we can get a same day appointment, they simply just said no availability for the day. They don’t ask what’s up with your dog or have you been here or not, or just try to care. We have been driving to Woodinville to see another vet for all of our UTI visit for the past 2 years. At this point, I dont know if I will continue to do annual check here

The receptionist in her 20s or 30s with the dark hair. Is extremely extremely rude. I went in there to get a lost dog scanned for a tracking ID, to see if it had an owner I could contact. I came in when it was dead in the office. Ask the receptionist if there was a scanner to see if the dog had been tagged. She didn’t say anything, rolled her eyes and walked away for about five minutes while I was standing in the lobby. When I finally started walking to my car to leave with the dog, confused on if she had even heard me… she ran to the front door and mumbled some thing with an attitude. Then started shaking the device in the air at me. I came back into the lobby and asked her. How was I supposed to know that she was looking for it if she didn’t say anything to me??? and just rolled her eyes.
Once she figured out the dog had an owner that happened to be a customer at their vet office is when she changed her attitude to more professional. Such a bad attitude on her and I will never go there with my dog. very uncaring.
You would think her being in a field with animals that she would care about the lost ones. Hopefully, she doesn’t still work there. Worst Customer Service I have EVER had.
Edit: the money was for damages the dog had done to my property. $30 dollars btw NOT a finders fee as you are alluding too. And as far as “ not proper communication” yeah eye rolling was not proper communication from her you are ABSOLUTELY correct.
“ Her demeanor shifted to a more professional manner upon confirming the owner’s identity “ correct she was not professional right from the start until she realized who the owner was. Shouldn’t she be professional and courteous to everyone? She is the face of your business and you should rethink that. Retrain your staff next time! Thank you very much

Been taking my dog to RKAH since I moved here in 2016. They’ve been there to support us through a dozen challenges, injuries and a few surgeries. I couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication and partnership!
