“Love the convenience of getting Indian groceries delivered through Shoperies in the Seattle area. They've flexible return policy, and prices are reasonable too!”
“This market is on one of the main roads of Remond, Avondale, so it's easy to find. We like to pop in for unique or extra fresh seasonal foods, like today when we got some figs. The store is small enough so you can find things easily. They have self check-out with an attendant who can guide you through the process if necessary or regular check-out if you prefer more assistance. The store is very clean, has a great selection of items for daily meals, or for putting together a gift basket. They have wine, beer, and canned cocktails as well as fancy alcohol-free mocktails and ginger ales and so forth. You don't need a membership to shop here, either. Great store!”
“Big boxy grocery store on the outskirts of town between Redmond and Fall City, down yon from Sammamish. Like Safeway (same parent), but much less busy on any given day. As slow as they are, you could check out in a jiff with a clerk or by yourself. Store has most everything you would want in groceries and supplies, plus a pharmacy, RedBox (2 kiosks), lottery machine, Starbucks counter, tables near the Starbucks counter, floral, bakery, etc., all arranged rectangularly so you can easily find your way around and eventually out.
Gone are the days when Albertsons used to give you a discount if you wore a Seahawks jersey on gameday. Those were the days! Still they have a good heart for doing business in a friendly easy-going tumbleweeds-rolling along the parking lot howdy-ho sort of way. I'm glad they've finally settled back to being Albertsons after having briefly changed their name to Haggen. That's like Hoover Dam being renamed Boulder Dam, then back to Hoover Dam. Nomenclature can be rough, like trying to keep up with CenturyLink Field or whatever it's called now.
If there is a cactus prick in this rustic picture, it's their fresh meat which sometimes looks green, as if spoiled, particularly those packages that are marked down in price like -30%. I would even hesitate to buy them at -50% because I do not like green eggs and ham, saith Sam I Am and me. They might need to check on their refrigeration. Happy trails to the frozen section instead...”
“One of the most consistently well staffed and stocked QFCs I've been to. The staff is a definite silver lining that saves this QFC from a typical disappointing Kroger supermarket experience.”
“Just visiting family in the area, but shopped at this Albertsons this morning and found it to be neat, clean, with a helpful and efficient staff, and a reasonably good product selection. Prices a little high, but overall a very good experience.”

16260 Redmond Way, Redmond“Small Latin market with all the essentials! Their house made hot sauce (sold in a plastic container above butchers counter) is delicious and spicy! I bought some chorizo, cotija cheese, and hot sauce there. Definitely would come back to get ingredients that are hard to find in a typical grocery store!!”
“THE BEST HOT FOOD Chicken tenders are JUICY The employees are very helpful and friendly, engaged in communicating, NOT like some other places that just treat you like just another number..”
“JEFF! Not sure if last name, but we we came late night looking for some goat milk formula for our baby and he must have heard us asking for someone to unlock the closet they store the formula in. He stopped us as we were leaving and ended up helping us! Unfortunately they did not have the type we were looking for but he was a very kind person to offer to help us late at night. Jeff, if you see this. Thank you for your act of kindness. It means a lot to us! Management, please give him a shoutout :)”
“Customer service at this location is timely and helpful whether you call to confirm stock or ask for assistance in the store. The atmosphere is clean and respectful. An aura like this can only be achieved from the respect management shows for employees who in turn do their best in their role elevating the culture.”

“4 *s FOR EDDIE AT THE READY AND JAKE'S SAKEI stopped in the Redmond Overlake Safeway to get some groceries on March 1, 2023. I wish to give a special shout out to their Front Manager Jake for being of great assistance re: check out and post check out assistance. He did so in a most friendly and helpful manner. I also wish to give a shout out to Eddie at the bakery for his special assistance tonight.BUT APP = CRAP ANDSAFEWAY = SUBSTITUTION INSTITUTIONThe Safeway app does not tell shoppers where to find their merchandise (unlike the QFC app). And it also takes too long to load up even when using the store's free Wi-Fi. But at least you don't have to ask an employee for a Wi-Fi password. And also, in the recent past when I have ordered groceries via storepick-up out in the parking lot, I would continually get substitutions (not just at this Safeway, but at one other as well) even though I checked "no substitutions." (not the app's fault). Though the Safeway app is easier to use than the QFC app, unauthorized substitutions is one problem I did not have with QFC. COVID MOSTLY VEXXED ESP IF UR VAXXEDI notice nowadays that merchants and customers don't wear a mask in blue state Washington so much anymore. No big, since Covid seems to be on the wane, it's therefore much easier to just come inside the store and shop, both here and at QFC. This is also true just about anywhere else, until truly user friendly shopping apps become the norm, hopefully in time for the next pandemic! (which could be far worse) But since a friend of mine recently got infected, I for one won't count Covid down for the count just yet!SHELVING SHORTAGE AND SHORTSTAFFING?As for selection and prices, I would say Safeway is on par with QFC and other big box grocery stores. Today, I have not noticed any shortage on the shelves or any short staffing (all byproducts of Covid BTW) as the store was not very busy at the time I stopped in. BROKEN ENGLISH NEEDS REPAIROne thing I have noticed, though is that Safeway had at least two employees tonight who do not speak English well. I have not noticed this at either one of the QFC's that I have reviewed on Yelp. I have no problem with fluency with an accent. But broken English that one cannot understand, to the point one is forced to speak to another employee or manager, can become problematic. This is especially true if the store is busy.”
“I do the majority of my shopping here and I have never had a problem. Worst case scenario, you have to wait a minute or two to use the self-checkout. Every employee I have interacted with through my years of shopping here has been friendly and more than willing to help with anything. The staff really does make the store that much better.”

“The grocery store I most often use in Redmond. Has a good variety of general ingredients and most of what's available is of decent to good quality. I usually use their Drive Up & Go service to minimize risk, a very convenient service to offer! A note on if you are using that service through, make sure you check your phone/email about your order and double check your receipt. Most of the time if there's something they can't get for you they'll note available substitutions or exclude it from your order, but there have been a handful of times when I realized halfway through the week that they had forgotten to get me an onion or something. It only makes a small dent in the score though because their customer service has never let me down!”

“these are some of the nicest hard working people I know. I'm the neighbor across the street , and they always have fresh food(except Sunday) and fresh coffee. along with a positive friendly attitude , i go multiple times a day and have been for some time.”
“I always have the best service here. They’re kind and friendly and try to be as speedy as possible. Current Google rating is misleading. Give them a chance! And they have a drive thru.”
“Thank you so much, really. I was so surprised to find my favorite foods priced 100% lower than the last two times I shopped here. I sat in the picnic area and had the best meal I've had in a long time. Compared to Kroger in this town Whole Foods quality, pricing, atmosphere, management and choice far exceeds local grocery. This is my new daily shopping store. You guys are awesome ?”
“The pharmacy takes to lonh to fill presriptions. Telling that they br ready the next day is ridiculous especially when the doctor wants you to start right away or you have to find someone to go there the following day since you don't have a car”

23475 NE Novelty Hill Rd, Redmond“Amazing! I needed a prescription pick up last minute and they are getting it done! Great pharmacy! Always awnser questions and are interested in ones well being! Don’t go elsewhere they are fully stocked really do a good job!”
“The next best thing after Walgreens shuttered Medly. The drive through is convenient and the pharmacists are very helpful. They were very helpful over the phone, as well.”
“Like any other TJ's I've visited, the staff are always courteous, friendly, and hardworking. During the pandemic, I've found Trader Joes to be the most organized and well stocked grocery store i've been to in the Redmond area. I wanted to give four stars for parking - the lot is small and not properly setup for the amount of traffic, but I can't fault the business for that.”
