Middle range barbershop in the Bear Creek village Redmond. Regular cut for men is $50. Staff are friendly and respectful. You should make an appointment. I like it.

Tara is great have have been going to her for a lot of years. I let her do almost anything. I go in for an all over color and cut, she chooses the color. And I just say I want to put my hair up into a bun. She does the rest.

I’ve tried to talk to the owner but I’ve been told he’s not in and whenever I had an appointment he was there. I don’t even know what to say, my hair has been demoralized. My hair has always been my thing…everyone saying your hair is so beautiful. I went in about a month ago…my second time in and thought my services would be consistent with previous service. I spoke for a good twenty Minutes on how all my family have long hair and I never had layers in my hair. I specifically said do not put layers in my hair! Which was known from my first visit. When I was done it was styled so I could not see many things. First off the layers and the 4” shorter as it was curled. I told my stylist no more than two inches. I could just cry. When I checked out my service was over a hundred dollars more. I was never asked about this and I never knew what this would mean to my hair, my pride and joy! Today my hair feels like straw…I had blonde bolyage (?) in my hair and today I have magenta streaks forming. I thought the service maybe cost more because I asked for additional highlights on back of the crown of my head…but it looks as if none were added and I have a dark circle in the back of my head. My stylist was aware that I wore my hair straight most of the time. I cannot wear it straight anymore…I could cry whenever I think of it. I tried to brush it off, I tried to talk to owner. I was so affected I couldn’t even talk to who do this service..did not want to get angry but that is exactly how I am feeling. The product I never agreed to use on my hair as well as being charged more money ( Olaplex) for has changed my look so immensely I feel ten years older. I hate to post like this but I guess that’s why reviews are available. You have to speak when you feel so wronged.

I've been going to Farouche for years. There are a lot of great stylists some that specialize in color, foils, updos, makeup and waxing. You can pretty much have anything done that you need there. The owners are fabulous. The front desk people are also wonderful! I would send any and all to this salon!

My experience was ok until I told her what I wanted. She basically told me that my style and what I wanted was old school. She then told me she was going to be giving me something updated. Thanks for the shaming!!! I hadn't had my hair cut or colored in 18 months. Anyway, afterwards it looks ok but not at all what I wanted. The worst part was that it was so bleached that my hair has now been breaking off and I have 1/2 inch pieces on top of my head!! Everywhere really but the top is most noticeable. I asked for a high lift but got bleach!! Be strong and determined when you go here. Ask for what you want like I did but don't be shamed into something else. Otherwise you might wind up with broken hair as well. Boa Sorte!!!

Very happy with the customer service here at this Salon. Renee is my stylist and she does an excellent job with color/cut and offers suggestions too without being pushy. Highly recommend!

A wonderful neighborhood hair salon. When you walk in the front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If you ever get to meet the owner it's a pleasure. They just celebrated being in business for 45 years , and I can see and feel why. I've never had a bad experience here. The stylists are friendly and laid back. The quality of their work is excellent! It is a lot cheaper than Gene Juarez and more laid back. The only improvement I would recommend is having a foot rest at the shampoo bowls to put your feet and legs up, so as to protect your lower back . However, I found that if you ask for one, they'll get get you one.

I am seeking a place to call my salon and called Fri evening to see if by chance they had any last min openings for Sat. They had a 10AM on Sat which I happily booked. Unfortunately my husband got called in for an emergency at work so when they opened I apologetically called the cancel as I had no one to watch my 4 kids. The receptionist went on to say I owe them $30 for a no show fee which is 6% of the expected cut cost. I chuckled and told them seeing how I had booked the appt less than 12 hours prior, no one explained anything on pricing and cancelation fees that would not happening. I would have happily rescheduled but that wasn't Edens opening solution or followup sentence either. I wish this salon best of luck in the customer service development process.

Hair stylist was great. She understood what I needed and did an awesome job with color and hair cut. It was my first time at that salon and I was fully satisfied. Only concern I had was they added some amount for gloss at the end which wasn't clear before.

This salon has been my "go to" for many years. They are constantly training their people in new techniques and styles and the owners really seem to care about their employees and the community. The stylists and front desk crew are always friendly and accommodating. They don't push products, but have a nice assortment available for purchase.

I have been going to Michael P for many years. He is amazing and always reasonably priced; $70 for a haircut, just as listed on their website. About a month ago, I went in to have a color change with Grace. She booked me as a ballyage even though I did not ask for one. The price for a ballyage and a haircut is listed on their website as $285. She ended up charging me $350 for nothing more than highlights. It looked like I had it done at Great Clips. I went back to have it fixed, and all she did was add a few more highlights. I talked to Michael, the owner, and he comped me with a free haircut. He couldn't understand why she charged me so much as she is one of the lower paid stylists. Then today, my grandson went in to get just the top of his very short hair permed, and it cost $130. The price on their website quotes a partial perm as $80-$90. It seems that the pricing they list and the price they charge are not consistent, so be very wary when going to some of the stylists at Farouche. I trust Michael but have serious reservations about the ethics of other stylists.

I've followed Tara around and she's here now. More expensive than I was used to paying, but never had a bad haircut or color with Tara.
