Is a shame that these providers are getting such poor rating because the billing practices of insurance companies. The service is great. I’ve been going here for 25 years. If you need good care for your family look no further.

I hope I can give zero star!
Be aware if you are going to do annual health check in this hospital. It works like a scam to steal your money.
I did annual health check here twice. The first time everything was good, and insurance cover everything including lab test. But the second time, I got charge for both the annual health check visiting and lab testing. The reason why I was charge for annual health check because I was asked 'is there other concerns' by the doctor, and I just follow to ask a small problem for my skin, and the answer is 'you don't need to care or of you do care I can sent you to the specialist'. That cause me $2xx and after I argue, it reduced to $1xx. This kind of trick the doctor ask trapping question so that make your annual health check become diagnostic which insurance not covered. This is my first time to have such issue. And even worse, my lab testing which come together with this hospital got charge also because 'Routine Venipuncture' which is not cover by the insurance. That is ridiculous!
You are warned to choose this hospital. It trapped you and try every means to steal your money with surprising bill!

I called, scheduled an appointment for a test. Drove myself and my daughter across town and checked in, paid $100 co-pay with receptionist who confirmed the reason for the visit. Asst checked my basics and again confirmed the reason for my visit before PCPhysician arrived. It was she who told me they no longer perform the test I wanted and directed to a 3rd party for the test. Only printed useless info from online for me about the company. This co., Labcorp, only administers the test after receiving a request from the clinic, which they never did.
Neither the lady taking my appt over the phone nor the receptionist told me they dont do the test there in the clinic. Later I get a $90 bill for the visit and it was determined (after it was disputed) I must pay it in full since we discussed something/anything besides my primary reason for making the appt in the first place. Its true, I brought up a minor issue with my foot since I was already there. I wasnt even disputing the $100 copay; I was gonna eat that cost. Terrible customer service. Avoid.

Please do NOT COME HERE. They will charge you for things you didn't do. I went to see S. YON for an annual exam and she asked me how I am doing. I told her I been having shoulder issues for years then she said she would give me Physical Therapy Referral. Then, the billing came back and charged me hundreds of dollar because they said my insurance does not cover such item. This is the worst experience I have had with health care. THIS IS a SCAM, stay away.

My recent visit to Evergreen Health ER was disappointing. A dirty bedsheet raised hygiene concerns, and unfriendly nurses made the experience worse. Improved cleanliness and a more welcoming staff are essential for a better patient experience.

Doctor is leaving and now I'm without a physician and all I got was a letter telling me to figure it out myself. I just had an appt and the doctor made no mention of it. I thought patient abandonment wasn't allowed. I also finally received the bill for one of my past appts and I didn't actually receive it until after the due date.

Average. It’s convenient if you live in Redmond and gets the job done. The primary care doctors and staff are hit and miss. I’ve encountered a high percentage of rude staff and robotic doctors at this location. I have had better experiences at the Kirkland hospital location.

My husband and I have been using Evergreen for nearly 15 years. However, they have declined over the past few years (possibly a result of an investment group purchasing Evergreen in 2018). Lackluster care and sloppy administration have pushed us to switch.
A non-exhaustive list of issues is below:
Prescriptions are held hostage for frequent, unnecessary, and hard-to-schedule follow-ups.
I was subjected to a pregnancy test even after explaining why I absolutely couldn’t be, and then lied to about it.
Doctors will actively cut you off at three “concerns,” even if there’s still time in your appointment.
We’ve had to switch doctors twice due to providers leaving the practice.
Messages are sent using templates that are copy/pasted without adjustments to make them relevant to your situation. (Most recently, I was told a virtual appointment was permissible but that I’d need to fast prior to my appointment.)
Finally, we were contacted because our secondary insurance denied a claim from *August 2023* (ten months ago!) as primary insurance had not yet been billed. Evergreen told us we had 10 days to pay nearly $12,000 unless we contacted them with primary insurance information. However, Evergreen has had primary insurance on file and successfully billed it many times beginning in *July* 2023.
Until Evergreen improves or ownership shifts away from the investment group, do yourself a favor and find another option.

Sadly, The front desk staff lacks information with their narrow minded way of thinking or lack there of...Spoke w/ 3 different staff members all had something different to say. Plus the lack of communication from the health provider & The Lab is serious lacking/negligent. Many missed appts. Evergreen seems to continue to go down in many areas/dept...

Horrible Billing Practices- I'm disappointed with my recent experience! I attended my annual preventive checkup, fully covered by my insurance. However, I was billed for both preventive and office visit charges in a single appointment, despite it being only a half-hour session. Unlike preventive care, office visit charges aren't covered by my insurance. Upon querying this, I was informed that the office visit charge was applied because I briefly discussed my medication. This discussion was part of the generic annual checkup procedure (from my previous experience), and the doctor neither prescribed nor extensively discussed my condition. What do they expect during an annual checkup? Complete silence?Half an hour visit= Annual checkup charges+ office Visit charges?? This is Outright Looting. I reluctantly paid the bill for something that turned out to be worthless. Their Billing system is terrible and discussing with them doesn't make any difference. I have decided to never go back to Evergreen. My bad i didn't check the reviews before the appointment :(

Yet another medical center that is doing all that's possible to scam and rip you; even delaying (by months) to give you answers so that billings become past-due and you're now charged additional fees and interests.
This type of business should be illegal, prosecuted and closed down.
What a disgrace for those honest doctors that look for patient's health instead of just money.
Edit: bumping to 2/5 stars because at least they apologize on delaying the bill and removed the additional fees. The rest still applies: they will charge you additional $$ (not pennies) if you dare asking questions to the doctor that is visiting you.
Now the question is: if I pay an hefty 500$ for a routine yearly visit but am not allowed to ask questions w/o getting charged additional money, why should I choose you at all?

Evergreen Redmond and Kirkland has the best doctors, PAs, nurses, Xray techs, whole staff! People who listen to you. Care about your well being and are happy people. If you want to see real misery, Swedish in Seattle repeatedly is the worst. They outsource their doctors. They make you wait 8hrs+ to days in the ER.Evergreen ER recently, I took in my visiting mom and they saw her within 5 minutes and took care of her with golden gloves. The bad reviews seem to be about billing. It’s 2023/2024 where the healthcare system and they are also understaffed. Everything has gone up. It doesn’t mean it’s their fault.Swedish Cherry Hill ER made me wait 8 hours for a dislocated elbow lying doctor was coming from First Hill, when in fact he was an outsourced on call person who asked me “so where are you really from?” Instead of setting the bones first, which he was inept at after 5 doctors and techs tried to. I did not want Dr. Jimmy Daruwalla of Hand Surgery to touch me so I lifted up my arm and set it myself.then the xray tech bent my arm and popped it out with no apology and disappeared.you will never get that kind of ineptitude at Evergreen!

Both me and my wife went for an annual physical check up with two different doctors and both of them charged over and above the amount covered by the insurance. When i called their billing department, they said we asked a question that was not considered "annual physical". We checked with other friends and they have had similar experiences. And its not just the billing departments; the doctors are involved in the scam as well.

UPDATE 2-14: Called the number given in response and all they did was to tell me to pay bill upon receipt or else will be send out to agency outside. They are rudely sticking out for FRAUDULENT BILLING practice by Doctor.SURPRISE BILLING and no other words than DECEPTIVE/FRAUDULENT comes to my mind. I am going to Evergreen Redmond Primary care for last 7-8 yrs and in my recent visit for Annual Wellness check with Dr. Krishnaiah, I am charged for separate $104 for professional office visit.Same thing happened last year which I let go, but this time I was very prepared and never ever asked for any consultation on any new or chronic condition. Doctor or nurse did not inform me about need for any separate consultation. My wellness check barely lasted 10 -15 mins and billed for that plus separate 30 min office visit. It gets even worse, when I asked for review through email, they came back with justifying the billing without even calling me to listen my side. I called customer service and she was very rude, reading me back my liability to pay $104 and saying I signed the consent document to pay the bill. They even sent letter my home showing my signature on a check-in document that says I am liable to pay the bill. Customer service did not care to listen about wrong billing or care quality complaint against the doctor. My complaint is about billing for service that was never offered, not denying my liabilities. Looking at other reviews this seem to be happening frequently at this location.BEWARE and if you still going to Evergreen Redmond, may be get a signed document during visit on what services you agreed for.

Surprise billing: My regret that I didn’t read reviews before going to this place. I went for an annual health checkup which is covered 100% by my insurance. Then suddenly I received another bill of another visit within the same day which I didn’t do or request to do or ever they have told me.
