This review is specifically for a manager named CherriRenee. When I first met her she was being rude, and so blatantly power-tripping another customer. Then she proceeded to belittle her new employee in training, who did struggle with our return (I don't blame him at all), but it was CherriRenee who took over and supposedly completed the return (this is important later). She said their printer was down so we couldn't get a receipt, but she said she was certain the return completed. It did not, and we were required to come back in the store to get our money back as they already had the item and needed our physical credit card.We came back in and started to explain the situation to CherriRenee, telling her we were in the store last Monday, and (I kid you not) this supposed customer service manager says, "Like that helps..." So we were off to a great start. She is then insistent she couldn't have been the one to take the shoes and do the return, but because another manager spoke up and told her they knew about the situation and she needs to process the return, she finally concedes that she'll do the return, "on good faith" as she kept saying. But it wasn't on "good faith" because we had called DSW corporate who spoke to the store and told them to hold the item and refund us. This was already a huge hassle to have to physically come back into the store again for her mistake, but she absolutely refused to even be the least bit kind or apologetic or to recognize her mistake until I finally called her out for being rude, to which I got several exaggerated, "I'm SORRYs!". Honestly I am livid and I have no clue how CherriRenee works in customer service, let alone made her way to management, let alone made it this far into adulthood acting the way she does. Absolutely insane.

I came in to get a pair of shoes I bought online checked because they are marked as my size, but they are at least 1 size too small. The clerk told me to measure my foot with my shoes on and measure that against the shoes I bought. That is not how shoe sizing works.

I always seem to find a decent shoe at a reasonable price here. I recommend DSW for people who need a pair of shoes and don't want to waste time nor overpay. Walk around, see lots of shoes on display, try them on, checkout and leave. Nothing fancy, just no nonsense shoe buying.

Tried to return some almost new tennis shoes because the fabric separated from the sole by the big toe area. Obviously a manufacturer defect. They won’t take them because their policy is no returns if the shoes are worn. Well, how would I know the shoe was defective if I didn’t wear it…!? So be warned…you are essentially rolling dice with regards to quality issues when you buy at DSW. Never buy there again…

Bought a pair of shoes a few days ago. Overpriced $55 mediocre sandals, but I needed something open-toed for a pedicure and decided these shoes were cute enough and would do. After wearing them for only a few hours, I developed massive blisters all over the bottoms of my feet that made it painful to walk for days. I went to return the shoes, less than a week since purchasing them; the shoes are not dirty in the slightest, I was careful when I wore them, but the soles are scratched from being worn obviously. I explained the shoes are painful. They tell me because the shoes were worn outside they would not do any sort of refund, not even store credit. I am frustrated that I wasted $55 on a pair of shoes that I cannot wear due to their poor construction. I told the cashier that this kind of sucks and that I wasn't aware of this policy, and she pointed to some piece of obscured paper behind a computer with a paragraphs of tiny legal text about their store policy, as if each customer is supposed to read that piece of obscured paper when checking out. I tried to offer the cashier a suggestion of letting customers know the policy of not being able to return shoes that were worn outside at the time they make their purchase and she rudely talked down to me saying "I don't make the policy." ... I again tried to explain I'm not asking her to change the store policy, I'm suggesting it would be a good idea to let customers know of the policy when they make a purchase, and again she listen to nothing I was saying, ignored me and rudely snapped at me again "I don't make the store policy" and had an attitude about me making a simple suggestion. The cashier was being cold and rude it seemed she just wanted me to leave (even though there were no customers in the store) and didn't care at all about improving the customer experience (not that a catty teenage girl really would care, but still, she is operating as an employee at this store).

The business doesn’t have any shoes above size 13, which doesn’t feel like a reason to leave a bad review, however it’s exhausting to be told to go online. If they ever do have a couple larger size options, I’ll modify this review.

The place was extremely dirty. The once good pricing is no longer. Get better pricing and no long lines because of one cashier, from Amazon. Same brands better selection.

Just a little annoyed with the “customer service” at this Redmond location. The two girls at checkout didn’t acknowledge my daughter and I for a few minutes, and when I made eye-contact with one and smiled, she didn’t acknowledge us, but actually whispered to the other, “You have a customer.” They proceeded to argue who would be the one to help us. When the first one finally did approach, the whole interaction was lazy, at best. I’m not going to nitpick every little thing during that. I understand hating your job and working in retail/customer service. I’ve done it myself. But come on. Arguing with another coworker in front of customers about having to do your job, which is literally helping customers? We weren’t even being difficult. We were just standing there waiting to be helped, no other customers waiting, and they were chatting. So done with the laziness. It’s gross.
