Change your name to Chris's Porsche only service. Not only annoying because we drove an the way over there with our Mercedes (and the fact that your name literally says German Auto repair right in the name), but more so by the unwillingness to really even come out and help us with our check engine light. Not one person in your entire shop has an obd2 scanner? Really? Although possible, it just seemed highly unlikely.. and the vibe about lifting a finger was just distasteful and annoying.

I brought in my Boxster S for a motor mount replacement and the service was great. I got a warm welcome from Chris and Tyler who got my car going immediately and now my car is running much better.

Only place I’ll bring my Porsches. Honest, straightforward, and kind. Don’t bat an eye at women coming in solo and give estimates / quotes fairly.

There were a lot of delays with parts and sick mechanics but this was still one of the best experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. They've made a customer for life. I brought it in for preventative maintenance and asked them what else needed to be done. They provided me with a detailed itemized list and I told them to do all of it. They actually ended up doing and charging me less than originally quoted because they realized some of the things they thought needed to be done wasn't actually needed on closer inspection. Who does that? I feel like most mechanics would have done it anyway to get the extra cash. They also offered to swap winter tires on for me while I was picking it up and we quickly realized I bought wheels with the wrong spacing. They never made me feels stupid, they sent me to a shop nearby that sells spacers and got it sorted. And while we were waiting for them to mount the tires Tyler, the manager there, was giving my son advice on tuning his GTI. All in all a great experience.Services: Engine repair

For 10+ years now, Chris's German has been my go to dependable shop for my 1999 Carrera Cabriolet. Excellent service for everything from standard oil changes to fixing convertible top hydraulic issues and emergency repairs on a failed water pump. Things go wrong on 20+ year old Porsches. I can always count on Chris's German diagnosing what's wrong and getting me back on the road.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Dropped off my car after my shifter cable broke on late Sunday.Tyler called me on Monday to ask a few questions and let me know they will check the car. As predicted the shifter cables broke and needed to be replaced.Price: the parts prices were very reasonable.Labor wise I thought it was way over the top.Besides the labor charge to do the actual repair they also added another hour of labor just for diagnostic.(+$225).Any Porsche mechanic should be able to diagnose this issue in 15-20 mins tops especially after I have already gave them an idea where the issue lays.Car was fixed in 4 days and was good to go.Here is the most annoying part:After taking the car home and cleaning it I noticed they have left multiple trim clips off just laying in the trunk.Trunk was extremly dirty and full of debris all over the place. When you spend almost $2,000 to get something done you expect them to at least put everything together properly and clean after themselves.Service: Transmission repair

Great team you can trust to take care of your vintage or modern Porsche. They did everything from routine maintenance to a full engine replacement on my 987.1 and I'd trust them to do it again. The shop is like a museum there are so many awesome cars at any given point, so even the experience of dropping the car off is enjoyable.Services: General repairs & maintenance

We have had several Porches over the years. Chris's is absolutely the best indie Porsche service team in the Seattle area. If you want a great job done on your car, at half the price and in half the time, with twice the level of care as the local dealer, go to Chris.Services: Oil change

Ken was kind and inviting. He was very knowledgeable about the services the company provides and made recommendations. They changed, almost, all the fluids in our old Cayenne including transfer case and steering wheel. The steering of the car feels a lot smoother than before. The car runs smooth, just like new. The price was shockingly high, a few thousand, but I guess that is Porsche maintenance?
