$2.50/bag of dried chickpeas. Costco sells bulk $10.99/7lbs at the Redmond location. A bit messy instead; no burrito or hot food to purchase but they did have a small section for Mexican pastries.

Small Latin market with all the essentials! Their house made hot sauce (sold in a plastic container above butchers counter) is delicious and spicy! I bought some chorizo, cotija cheese, and hot sauce there. Definitely would come back to get ingredients that are hard to find in a typical grocery store!!

So happy my friend told me about this place. I have lived on the Eastside for 22 years and whenever I need a fix of good Mexican food I run to White Center or Lynnwood. So when I heard about this place in my backyard I had to give it a try. got some carnitas, which I swear is a little cheaper than other places (but don't hold me to that, not positive), got some salsa verde, got some tamales. went home ripped into the tamales and it was good, tried one cheese and one pork. For dinner had me some carnita tacos. I have to admit I didn't have very high hopes for the carnitas based on looks, but I was so pleasantly surprised. They were some damn legit carnitas. Oh and the salsa verde was delish. So going back for more carnitas and salsa verde.

Oh, come on! Get your Carne Asada on, and when she asks if you want the marinade, just say yes. Two fresh salsas on the counter, and I preferred the green, but both were pretty fantastic and homemade. Otherwise, a fine grocery store where they may have what you are looking for.

My second time buying meat from a carniceria and this was a great experience. I wanted to do some carne asada for my fam this past weekend so I needed about 15lbs (I have a YUUUUGE fam) and I was super impressed with the last joint I went to for pre-marinated meat. A quick search on Yelp pointed me here. Old Redmond has HELLA one-way streets and I almost missed the entrance for these guys. Grrrrr! It's a squishy parking lot and an even squishy-er store! Some guy was restocking something on the shelves and the boxes took up several aisles. It took a sec for the fella behind the meat counter to notice me (he was doing some paperwork) but once he saw me, he was mad helpful. There was several cuts of meat and almost all were a mystery to me as to which would be best for carne asada. He recommended the arrachera (skirt) and it was perfect. I asked for him to marinate for me and he was happy to toss some marinade in my bag (after weigh in so I'm not paying for marinade at steak prices). I don't know what all was in that marinade but it made the meat tender and flavorful and not overly salty! Next time I do this, I'll pat dry my meat *phrasing!* so I get a better sear, though! I'm a super fan of this place for the hook-up on the cook up!

Amazing store, awesome variety of stuff. If you ever want to cook up some good carne asada this is the place to buy it from. Don't be intimidated if u don't speak Spanish some of the butchers speak English and can explain to you the variety of meat cuts they have. The employees are always smiling and greeting every one that comes through the doors.

So I mixed this store up with the latin market that is attached to the teriyaki place. Much to our surprise we stumbled across this the other day and I immediately realized my mistake. I guess I didn't expect two latin american stores to exist in Redmond. This one is the more useful of the two (don't get me wrong, the other store has lots of cool items). What I mean by that is that it has a fresh meat counter and some produce. It is still very small. Unlike the other place (and I still don't know it's name), this is more Mexican than South American and is stocked with Mexican items. The panaderia is no better than the other market but we found some good stuff. Great place to get dried chilies and Mexican herbs/spices. We don't eat meat but the meat market looked authentic. I may take advantage if we have a taco party some day.

Great small Market, they sell mostly Mexican products, but you can find anything from Central and South America as well. (example: Crema Salvadoreña [El Salvador], Banana leaves for a delicious "Peixe na Folha de Bananeira" [Brazil] ). They have a smal meat shop in the store, I would recommend Desmillo or Acesina meat for Carne Azada.....totally worth it! La Quemada also does Money wires. All the staff is super helpful and have a great outgoing personality! OVERALL GREAT LITTLE MEXICAN MARKET.
