I had a disappointing experience at this pet clinic. The examination fees were outrageously high, and I felt like they were more focused on upselling pet products than actually providing care. It didn’t feel like they were prioritizing the health and well-being of animals; instead, it felt like a blatant attempt to exploit pet owners financially. This was not the compassionate care I expected—it felt more like a scam. I won’t be returning.

I took my 5-month-old puppy to this clinic for a Leptospirosis vaccine, as recommended by the vet. Unfortunately, shortly after the vaccination, my dog developed severe diarrhea that lasted for several days. When I called the clinic for advice, they insisted that the diarrhea was unrelated to the vaccine and blamed my dog’s food instead.
I explained that I had been using the same food before the vaccination without any issues. Their response was dismissive, stating they couldn’t help me and suggesting I go to an emergency clinic if the situation worsened. After doing some research, I discovered that diarrhea is a known side effect of this vaccine.
We were just looking for guidance to help our puppy recover, but the clinic’s lack of accountability and responsibility was incredibly disappointing. I expected better care and support, especially considering the circumstances.

Like others have mentioned, I found the cost to be very high—over $500 for my kitten’s ringworm test. The vet recommended the most expensive diagnostic method rather than a more efficient one. While waiting three weeks for the results, I had already treated my kitten at home with mousse and shampoo based on my own research. The treatment was effective, and the hair is growing back now. I’m left questioning whether spending $500 was necessary…

Great experience here. All the staff are wonderful! Dr. Loptien takes care of both our pets, & she is incredibly kind, professional, gentle, & knowledgeable. I'm really pleased that whenever we visit Brookfield, every part of the process is clearly geared towards minimizing the animals' fear & discomfort as much as possible, & keeping the humans informed & closely involved every step of the way. They obviously care deeply about animals' well being, & they've absolutely earned my trust. Thank you, Brookfield!

I have been taking my puppy to Brookfield since I got him - about 9 months. My initial visit was awful. When the appointment was over, they told me they were taking him to the back to trim his nails and to get him used to the back in case it was ever needed. They said they do this every appointment. 20 minutes after he had been taken back, I asked what the hold up was and they let me know it's their unofficial policy to let every single staff member pet puppies. "It's the puppy tax" they said. They have never taken him into the back or trimmed his nails again. Not cute or amusing when you need to get back to your job. They send out confusing and incorrect emails about flea/parasite medications needing to be updated. I also took my puppy in as he was having some diarrhea. They took a $250 fecal sample, told me it was positive and charged me another $200+ for medication to cure it. A week or so later - I get an email letting me know Oopsie!! He was negative and their system was telling them he was positive to a test he had taken from his first apt ever there (which we were told was negative!) The cherry on top was receiving a quote for his neutering for $2,000 weeks after i had booked the appointment. Save your money and find literally any other vet.

We have been taking our cats to Brookfield for semi-annual checkups for many years and have appreciated the care they receive there and the range of services offered. The vets remember our kitties at each visit and treat them like family, with genuine concern for their overall health and well-being. It's also nice to be able to get blood and fecal tests, vaccinations, physical exams, dental cleanings, and injections at the same facility and with the same thoughtful staff on our visits.
They are conveniently located in Redmond with easy parking. The online storefront is also very handy and quick for getting prescriptions and medications approved and shipped.

Thank you Brookfield for helping us along the journey of figuring out the super confusing new CDC requirements for dogs traveling between US and Canada! We’re well informed of every little change in CDC requirements through emails, and we can always rely on this professional team on sorting things out the way they should be. Dr.Wright is very caring, thorough, and personable. She is very accommodating of different pet temperaments- she takes the extra time to make sure they are comfortable. Dr.Wright is clearly very experienced and in tune with what animals want/need. You really could not ask for a better veterinarian!
The staff was accommodating of my budget constraints as well- they highlighted more affordable options among their recommendation list for my pet.
Overall, Brookfield provides an excellent service with great staff in a clean, welcoming space.

Emily and Dr. Conaway are gentle and loving to my 13 1/2 year dog.
Their explanations and guidance and care for Murphy is excellent. Every one is friendly and efficient, despite how busy they are. Also Dr. Wright, excellent too!
I would give all the staff, 10 stars!!

We've been going to Brookfield to see Dr. Carrie Wright for years, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our pets' care. She's incredibly patient and thorough, always happy to answer my endless questions and provide helpful resources. When my mixed breed dog developed a tumor, Dr. Carrie's keen eye caught it early. The surgeon credited her with saving my dog's life confirming what we already knew - she's an exceptional veterinarian. She also provided exceptional care for my English bulldog throughout his life, helping him live a happy and healthy 12 years. Dr. Carrie is not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and gentle with animals (and their owners too). She takes the time to explain complex medical issues in a way that's easy to understand and has always referred us to specialists when needed to ensure our pets receive the most comprehensive care. We are so grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic veterinarian.

Brookfield veterinary hospital is amazing for my GoldenDoodle puppy ‘Rusty’. I was truly amazed by their process and documentation towards taking care of a new puppy, things to consider (what to eat, what not, medical schedule, resources for training and other stuffs). As a first time puppy owner / companion, I’m extremely happy about everything with the hospital!
