Woman at the counter asked a customer "what's with the mask today" the customer responded that she had been sneezing and wasn't sure if she was sick, or not, and didn't want to get anyone sick. The lady's response was "in the old days we just sneezed" it's not the fist time she has harassed people for wearing masks. I get it-she is anti mask- but she should not be attacking customers for making the choice to wear one. Especially in a shop that raises money for the cancer society. I will not be back!

Disappointed. I miss the old shop which had a mix of great finds such as planting pots, silver, glass, vintage and a lot more special odds and ends. This new shop is just like all the other run of the mill thrift stores.

Wonderful store! The remodel looks beautiful. Lots of light to shop by. The volunteers are more than willing to help you find whatever your needs are. Every Tuesday is 20%off for seniors.

Disliked. The items are grossly overpriced. Thrift stores that sell their items for more than a sale price at a department store are a sad thing. Some people shop at thrift stores to get a deal. Pricing the donated costco items for more than costco sells them for is sad. Who wants to pay $50 for a jacket at a thrift store. A department store donates chanel and high end skin care and perfume. It is priced $105-$225 here. So sad. I witnessed a woman passing on half the items she wanted to buy because she didn't have enough money and the employees never offered help or a discount, they were rolling their eyes and looking down on her. I would have offered to pay but I didn't want to support this place. I walked out after her and looked up thrift stores nearby and also shared some further away that had good deals.

Worth checking out. They have senior discount of just 20% off on Tuesdays. A lot of clothes were for very large women, but there was some stuff. Pricing is ok. Some decent quality brands amongst typical stuff.

Sign said open but doors were locked at 3:58pm on a Friday. Lady inside yelled at me that they were closed when I tried to open door.....could at least turn off their open sign.

I am NEW to this area and searching for the little thrift shops that support great causes. I'm from SoCal so you can imagine the many thrift stores they have....Haven't really explored much yet since I offically moved here. I first went to a bigger thrift store (name starting with a J) a block away but their prices were extremely high for a thrift store (only 30% off orange) and hardly any orange tags in the store. Plus, workers were not as friendly. BOO! I came across this GEM reading the bad review on J_ ....thift shop...Hahaha! They also have the nicest workers here who most of the time "volunteer". This store does not disappoint and also being a cancer survivor myself, I will gladly support. :-)) First off, they had a bunch of 50% clearance items outside the door. I believe each week a special color tag is marked off. When I walked in the lady greeted me right away with the sweetest voice and she immediately told me the specials. That alone....I knew I was going to support this store and shop. I found high end designer pieces, even new names I never heard before. I'm a big shoe person and love vintage, unique pieces and I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes here. One pair was 50% off. I bought this pair of shoes for $4! And, WOW! All leather and most comfortable pair of shoes ever. After researching the brand (I don't want to name here because I don't want to giveaway my secrets ...hahaha (you need to just go to this store NOW and shop), these shoes cost over $100 retail. I thought this was my biggest find until I found another pair of "vintage" genuine leather/suede boots! These I paid full price for $6. The racks are clean. Racked by size/ style and sections are organized and this place does NOT have a horrible smell like most Goodwill stores. The displays were organized and sections are well-sectioned and neat. I noticed they walk around several times to make sure the sections are neat and tidy. Attention to detail and great customer service matters here! But, true to one reviewer, there aren't a lot of home goods or electronics here. Mostly womens and mens/kids items are few! It's not a huge store, so what do you expect. I love the small thirft stores, anyways because they tend to take better care of items donated... I literally spent less than $20 and the items I got retail for $400 or more...at least! So, YES...go shop here now!! I will definitely be back more times soon. Thank you to all the sweet workers. You made my 1st shopping experience so awesome.

UPDATE 10/29/2021: NO MORE VACUUMS (THAT SUCKS) On my initial review 17 days ago, They apparently were still accepting vacuum cleaners as I have a photo of 2 of them here. But as of today, I found out they are no longer accepting them. The lady told me that they take up too much room and that they don't sell well. Fair enough. It would help if their website donation policy made this clear(see photo) as vacuum cleaners are not "major appliances." Nor does it say that they are "no longer accepting vacuum cleaners." BUT BIG BOX STORE TOOK 'EM Jubilee, next to Fred Meyer, would not take them either. But kudos to Goodwill that did take them, as they have a much bigger store than The Discovery Shop and Jubilee, and therefore had room for them. ABOVE AND BEYOND I was surprised to learn that while they were still accepting vacuum cleaners, they would actually have a repair shop work on them at least if they had an odor in them. I told them that was "above and beyond the call of duty" for used merchandise that they sell at thrift prices. Perhaps that used stinky s***** was an expensive Kirby or Rainbow, as today's cheap vacuums would not be worth repairing once the warranty is expired.

Great little thrift shop. Never know what you will find. Prices are great! And they always seem to have a sale going on. I'd give them 5 stars but they cram a lot into a small store so it is a little crowded. Lastly, I have seen negative reviews regarding the staff. I frequent the store and have always found the staff friendly and helpful.
