I appreciate the variety of classes & time options offered daily. The staff is incredibly kind, professional and helpful. They accommodate all ages, sizes, skill sets and meet you where you're at. This has been so helpful for my healing journey.

Very nice facility. We rented a cage for an hour and had a great time.

Seemed liked they already had players in mind when they started tryouts… didn’t even give my kid a chance to pitch or catch or field… threw him low pitches and told him to swing at everything… waste of time to go to these tryouts they don’t run all the kids through all positions to see what the kids can offer or do… WASTE OF TIME AND VERY UPSETTING GIVE THE KIDS A CHANCE TO ACTUALLY TRYOUT.

They won’t even allow a 30 minute “tryout” while they advertise a 4 day. Several kids were berated for not doing good enough while they didn’t even get a fair chance for an already full team. A complete waste of time.

Locker rooms do not have good security. Your plastic cards, wallet and phones will be stolen here on occasion if you go frequently. Kids and rings of people will hit this area knowing the poor security. I highly advise a money belt or small fanny pack allowing just a wallet or phone. To be on you at all times. Don't bring more than your driver's license and maybe your credit card and that's it. Theft is a high occurrence at this location. This is what made me discontinue my member ship. Time and time again I'd see people robbed behind their backs without even knowing it. Once even when in there. These rings will head on down to your local grocer and try and buy the max limit on pre paid visas. You have been warned. Please do not harass the grocery clerks as they can not do anything to intervene. There is zero safety protocols in the sco terminals to prevent these transactions. All that saves you is the bank blocking it. Parking at this location is a bit of an issue. Slots fill up fast around class time and even with the large parking lot they're always full. The vehicles also have a tendency to get broken into or catalytic converter stolen. Getting in and out of this can be an issue if you don't mind fighting with down hill traffic obviously doing 60+ in a 30 mph zone. The added light helps but most drivers just blow right through it like it still doesn't exist. When turning right onto a main drag no one stops to check for traffic.

Friendly and most of all very nice mounds and cages. They let you do your thing. Field next door to run and do a warm up routine.

Been a member since it opened. Best YMCA I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We used to frequent this place but stopped during Covid. Wow, 3 years later this place has really gone downhill.Prices continue to rise but the facilities are in disrepair, they've eliminated towel service, nobody was around cleaning anything and there was no staff except for the front desk.Add to that, if you want to use the activity pool, you still have to reserve it in advance...years into the pandemic. We got there when there were only two people total in the pool and were still told we couldn't go in until the next time slot. For $150/month, there are far better options.

We love our Coal Creek YMCA! The staff is so friendly, the facility is clean and the classes are taught by upbeat, talented teachers. There is lots of parking and lots of equipment to use, even when it's busy.

Nice staff but pools, and pool locker/family changing areas need to be cleaned better and more regularly. Also would love to see classes for non-Seniors ( yoga, barre, bollywood).

Staff has been friendly every time I have come here. The gym is upstairs and the pool is downstairs. The gym has a bunch of equipment, machines for cardio and weight lifting along with free weights. It has everything I need for a workout (but I am NOT a bodybuilder). Facility is clean and there is enough space for people to work out.

Rude staff. Even though I live in Newcastle, I rather drive 30 min to go to the Bellevue YMCA.

Stopped by twice to get a tour and BOTH times was given bad instructions when to stop by for a tour. Tonight I was there at 7:35 (after being told to stop by before 8:00) only to be told by some guy they closed as of 7:30...the chuckle while saying it didn't help. Poor understanding of customer service and twice disappointed without even getting in the door.

No track, way too crowded (I couldn't find a single cardio machine for about 20 minutes), and the layout of the place just wasn't nice. Childcare took a bit to check in and had a strange entrance for my older son. Staff was not paying attention so could have taken any kid.... The Sammamish Y is just so much better.

Cancelled my membership today. So tired of the pool situation... too crowded, hot tub is always closed. Closed the facility early because of weather... which was just rain. Even the Y camp my daughter attended this summer was poorly run.. and expensive! What am I paying for? Is this a community-based, family oriented health facility or is that a cover for a For-profit organization to make $$ under the YMCA name? Whatever their mission is.... My family and I are out. Shame on them....
