I adopted my little nugget (Scout) when he was a little over 10 weeks old and he's now 3 1/2 years old. I've had no health issues with him other than kennel cough (twice) when he was a baby. I was told he would be a "small" but he's a healthy 26lb boy (with a little length to him). I WOULD NOT trade him in for the world. Seriously, he's the sweetest little dog with a bit of sassy personality. I can take him everywhere: the store, restaurants, the beach - and he's so good. He does get a little case of the zoomies but it's cute and he's happy. I lived in Boston when I adopted him. Windy and Autorio were great. The courier was amazing. Would highly recommend them and this breed.

These dogs are truly one of a kind. Their vibrant personality and zest for life make each day an adventure. From their playful antics that never fail to bring a smile to my face to those precious snuggle sessions that warm my heart, they've brought an unparalleled level of happiness into my life. Their infectious enthusiasm has a way of making even the most mundane moments feel extraordinary. In every wag of their tail and every loving nuzzle, I find a reminder of the simple joys that life has to offer. Windy and the team are fantastic and answer all questions along the way, highly recommend!

Not your average dog by any means!! These dogs are just extraordinary. I didn't really give much credence to how distinct a breed could be until I met these guys. I couldn't love mine more and I have friends and others that I have met that have also been extremely pleased with both the personality and health of this breed. My Ren is just perfect, health, intelligent, communicative, playful and generous. She has been a breeze to train and I always get comments on how beautiful and well behaved she is. And it's true. Her coat is the softest and she is healthy and robust. And I love her small size too. It makes everything so much easier with her. I reference their Royal Frenchel website and youtube station all the time because they are so informative. Anahata (Windy) and her team are so loving, knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process and it is very clear that the puppies are healthy and loved. I visited with several pups and found them all to be so distinct and affectionate. It was hard to chose but Anahata was so helpful and really got to know me well and help me decide what personality I would enjoy most and she knocked it out of the park. I am nuts about Ren and could not be happier. I really never realized how close I could be to a dog and I will always be eternally grateful for Anahata and her impeccible team at Royal Frenchel. Serious from a once non believer... worth every penny. It will be your best money spent ever.

I bought a dog that was advertised as a “small” which the website says is between 14-22 lbs, however, there is nothing small about this dog, who is over 28 pounds (so, larger than a “regular”). When I did the zoom visit I was told the dog was 11weeks old, however when I arrived to get the dog and all the paperwork and had already paid (non refundable), I learned from the paperwork that the dog was actually nearly 16 weeks old, and my vet said it had been underfed because it’s bones were too prominent (and I noticed it had a lot of trouble getting the kibble into its mouth to eat which may have been the ). As I was leaving from picking up the dog, Windy put it on the ground to go to the bathroom and she said, hmmm, those stools look kinda soft, you should have it tested for Giardia, and here are a couple days of some meds for that. Not having experience with Giardia, I didn’t realize what was about to happen…Five months and thousands of dollars in vet visits and upwards of 25-30 bloody diarrhea poops a day. It took four different types of antibiotics and other meds to finally clear the infection, and I had to diligently clean and bleach literally everything constantly including replacing all the material in my dog run area (thank god I didn’t let it out into the main yard to infect the entire environment because once you do you cannot get rid of it.) I since learned from Windy herself who said that well, yes, they had discovered an area on their property where there was a source of Giardia several years ago but that “the dogs eventually grow out of it and it doesn’t bother them anymore.” So, she acted surprised and told me as I was getting in the car to leave with the dog that maybe I should test the dog, when she knew very well that she was likely selling me an infected dog that would require thousands in medical bills and time in multiple vet visits. It’s $80 per test to see if it’s cleared. I’d guess I did about ten of those over five months, and the Drontal, the only Med that actually worked, is $175 for three days, and that had to be repeated four times, plus countless rounds of Panacur and other drugs that were tried prior to that. To be fair, when I complained, she offered to take the dog back to heal it, and she also did offer suggestions etc., so there was follow up support, but by that time, months of time and thousands more dollars spent that I couldn’t get back had already been invested plus I was attached. The dog is super cute despite being twice as big as I paid for (because you pay by size, with smaller being way more expensive - so I overpaid by about $1500 due to them listing the expected adult size inaccurately, purposefully or not, I’m not sure) and has a sweet personality in general, but don’t believe the website hype that it’s somehow magically special. It has the stubborn bulldog personality and is somewhat hard to train (except for potty training which was easy). And my dog is pretty ADHD and not calm or service dog-like, jumping on guests (and since so big ends up scratching legs, etc) and basically has no ideas of personal space boundaries, despite my efforts to train (I’ve had other dogs who did not have this issue so it’s not my training style that’s the problem). The dog thinks its a lap dog but at almost 29 lbs does not fit in a lap so it’s pretty annoying. It’s also too big to take traveling as I had planned. My dog also had a non descended testicle which the breeder would have been well aware of but which was also not disclosed so I had to pay quite a bit extra to have the dog neutered. They are super cute dogs and do have a sweetness to them, but basically, you are paying purebred costs for a mixed breed that is likely to come preinfected with Giardia. I feel that I was misled and the Giardia and birthdate and non descended testicle should have been disclosed prior to me making the non refundable deposit.

Windy, Arturo and all of the lovely “family” work incredibly hard to have the most cared for and loved frenchies to give to their forever home. It’s obviously a passion not a “job”!We purchased our first micro frenchie two years ago. Similar to below he had an issue that can just happen unrelated to breeding. This was verified by our vet. Windy immediately offered us another pup, gave me a choice and We had a second Frenchie within a few weeks of discovering the first pups issue. Both dogs were obviously loved, easy to train, and Windy is incredibly thorough and mindful when breeding! All dogs before profit she has never said that but her actions and integrity proved that.I recently contacted Windy as the kids and I would like another micro frenchie! I won’t go anywhere else! I’ll keep you posted!Tisha S

I love my Royal Frenchel - he is adorable and very loving. However, he is allergic to everything (almost all foods). We have spent over $2000 in vet bills trying to get him sorted out, and he will likely be on medication and special food for the rest of his life (or else he scratches until he bleeds and then gets secondary infections). Anyone else have this problem with a Royal Frenchel? I'd love to share some suggestions, since it is a struggle to keep him healthy.2021 update: George continues to be a sweet, friendly dog. He continues to have significant food allergies, controlled with medication, despite a fully organic diet (no chicken or corn) since we first brought him home. Now, at age 6, he’s been diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease. Terribly painful & debilitating, & no real cure. If you read the reviews, you’ll see other Royal Frenchels also have this diagnosis.

I've had my Sophie girl for 2 months now and she is a doll, ok when she's sleeping! She goes 100 miles an hour or zero, nothing in between. She is crate trained and we are working on the potty training! Royal Frenchel has been extremely helpful throughout the process. I got to visit a couple times before taking her home and they have given me all kinds of information on what to do for and with my new puppy. They are very responsive to any questions I've had and have and I am grateful for my little mixed breed pup! Thank you

Bella has an amazingly sweet temperament. She is very composed around unfriendly dogs. We are thankful for Windy and her team for breeding such well mannered pups with minimal training. Our dog is well liked wherever we go and the groomers always asks to keep her longer while we run errand LOL. Bella also does very well with a rambunctious five year old and likes to wait for him by the door because she knows his schedule. This dog is the most emotionally intelligent dog that I have ever experienced and so the investment in a quality unique bloodline is truly priceless ⚜️

We decided since we’re both working from home during quarantine this would be a great time to add a puppy to our family. We contacted Windy at Royal Frenchel and she was very generous with her time, answering our questions and educating us about this breed. We made an appointment for the very next Saturday and drove down for our meeting. We got to meet many of her sweet older dogs and several of the tiny puppies. We met our boy, Tucker, when he was 3 weeks old.We returned to bring him home 5 weeks later and he had been an absolute pleasure. He’s so loving and a great cuddler. Our 4 year old Frenchie, Harley, grew to love him, too. Tucker is a great little eater, sleeper and is very playful. He is steadily growing and is now able to run quite fast! He responds to his name often and is a very smart little guy.Windy and Arturo have been very responsive throughout and even set up Zoom sessions during the 5 weeks prior to us bringing him home. This has been a great experience and I know I can contact them with any questions that may arise. We love our sweet boy so much!!

I couldn't be happier with my new puppy. The whole process from start to finish was so easy. Lots of communication about how to prepare for the arrival of my new dog including many videos with background and training, feeding and personality traits. This is definitely the breeders that you want to buy from. Barney loves his new home and we’re thrilled. Two thumbs up

These are some of the best dogs around. Very smart and loyal. They are great with kids and seem very flexible to whatever lifestyle their owner has.I now have Hiro as a service dog and he is amazing .So calm and easy to work with. He had been amazing to bring to my office with me and a great companion and family dog. He's super healthy, we've never had any problems with him.
