I really loved the quiet location of this rental space. It was perfect for a few nights visiting the Olympic peninsula. The space was immaculately clean and furnished with basic toiletries and amenities. Unlike some air bnb’s, this place didn’t skimp on the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The shoe warmer alone saved my trip multiple times. The only issue I had is that WiFi service was virtually nonexistent. I could not rely on any WiFi to give reliable service, which made my trip planning very difficult. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again as a solo traveler. Check in and check out process were very easy, and the little town was charming.
Rooms: Immaculately clean and well stocked with toiletries and other amenities. A shoe warmer, silverware, and shower supplies were incredibly useful. Terrible WiFi service in room 5.
Nearby activities: It’s a fairly far drive to Olympic national park. I definitely underestimated the travel time, and would’ve stayed somewhere closer in the future.

Amazing place to stay. Fully renovated. Clean and comfortable to sleep. Recommendation: use robotic vacuum to remove the dust under the beds.

Couldn’t find a better place. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The personal touches within the room are thoughtful (Wilderness Uno, Dove brand soaps, coffee maker with more than on pod). The bed was so so comfortable. We brought our dog and there was plenty of room for him to lay on the floor and have his dog bowls out without tripping on them. It was so quiet and peaceful and in the morning we were treated to a view of the mountain when we walked out. Close to so many things like Hama Hama, hiking trails, FinnRiver Cidery and the pub down the street had THE BEST pizza. We cannot wait to come back.

I wish the old owner hadn't sold. I've stayed here a few times and it's lost all the charm for me. A faceless entity manages it now.

Check in was a nightmare. And dealing with a computer based company that runs it through your cellphone is bad. Had a hard time with trying to unlock the door with a very long

This place is above our expectation, the room is clean and equipped with coffee maker, microwave and newly installed AC. The location is great if you want to hike around the hood canal, olympic NP area. There's an expresso stand with good coffee. It is across the street from the ranger station. The booking and checkin is done remotely via email/sms. They'll send you a 10 digit code the day before, we did not have issues getting in.The area is quiet and safe , however, it would be nice to have a lock bolt or chain locks from the inside to feel safer as anyone who knows the 10 digit code can potentially open the door from outside...

Spent a night waiting for a tow truck to recover my vehicle in mountains. Doesn't seem to be any staff, rooms accessed via lockbox. Booking and customer service done through third party management co. Nice espresso stand across street. Local town is small, but Quilbillys is good for food/beer. Floors in rooms are a bit chilly but overall clean, comfortable. Changed a cleaning fee on top of room rate, ended up being like $200. Be aware it's expensive.

Small, very basic motel managed by an off-site company. It is what it sets out to be and is VERY basic, but does the job.Honestly, not the cleanest and certainly not the fanciest hotel, however it also isn’t gross or scary. Most of my 4-star review has to do with the local management. I got there, got the key, put away my stuff, and then walked out to drive to Port Townsend to meet a couple buddies for dinner. Only to almost immediately realize I locked my key in the room. Called the local number immediately, and the local manager told me they kept extra keys in lockboxes instead the property. Except for whatever reason, the extra lockbox for my room wasn’t there. You would think that at this point, the local manager would be frustrated, or annoyed, or whatever because this was ~6PM on a Friday, but she didn’t miss a beat. Within half an hour the locksmith was there with an extra key. Opened the door so I could retrieve the key inside, and put the extra in the lockbox just in case. All told, my stupidity in locking myself out took ~an hour and I still managed to meet up with my friends, and throughout it everyone involved was very friendly, helpful, and patient. So, what I am saying is that this is basic accommodation that looks and feels like basic accommodation. But I am very happy with what it is/was and can absolutely vouch for their responsiveness. For the price (under $100), the service I was given went above and beyond, and they didn’t even make a big deal about it or charge me anything additional, even though I’m sure the locksmith charged them for an hour plus just to drive out an deliver the key, which knowing locksmiths, probably cost more then the room I rented.

Worst room I’ve ever rented in my life. Airbnb should never allow this place to be hosted on their site.Feet black from the dirty floors. No soap in the shower to wash my black feet. Paper thin walls would be a compliment, you can hear your neighbor breathe.WiFi doesn’t work at all. Called their support and they couldn’t help, said I’d get a call, never did. The two things they advertise were lies: WiFi and clean room. That’s all I wanted.A car just drove in and its insanely loud. The bed even squeak like mad, like who runs this place?!You won’t get sleep here. I’m about to leave and sleep in my car somewhere quiet. Absolute scam.

Read the Vacasa cancellation policy closely. Unless you cancel 30 days in advance, they provide no refund or credit at all. We are trying to cancel a reservation 4 days in advance due to unforeseen circumstances, and after calling Vacasa, they are keeping our full $338 for the 2 nights. I get it--places need to make money, but there is a balance to these things.
