I would give 0 stars if that were an option. Here is why.On December 17th I took my band and my ruby ring (that was my mothers who recently passed) to get soldered together and have my band inspected for warranty and cleaned. after a couple weeks of dropping my rings off we got a call stating that they had to replace the shank on my moms ring. We gave approval and was told it would only take a week. A week passed so we inquired on my ring status and they said "oh, we had to reset the ruby's in your ring" ok, a call would have been nice. I asked how much longer? they said only a few days. Several days passed and nothing. I call. They proceed to tell me that they damaged my mothers ring! ok I am upset, rightfully so. I ask what their plans were. They state that they have to get a claims manager involved (why had this not already been done?) and that the would either replace the ring with a like kind (mind you my ring is now a family heirloom), buy me out (how can you do that with a family heirloom?), or remake the ring. All 3 are horrible but I asked to remake the ring using the stones from my moms ring. They tell me the claims manager makes that decision (WHAT?). Ok, so here we are. I ask when will we hear from the claims manager? I am told they were not sure but maybe a week. Guess what? time passes and no phone call. Again, I call to inquire and the manger tells me that the claims manager agreed to have the ring remade. I again ask, how long and I ask them to send my band back so at least I have that to wear and she agrees and says she will have both rings sent back and create a new claim for my Ruby ring. I express my frustrations and never once (other than when we were told they were replacing the shank) have I received a call about anything that has happened. The managers says she will "try to do better" I tell her, " you are a fine jewelry store, I would expect better customer service than what you have give me". She again, promises to do better. I get a call from her stating that my rings will be mailed back and should be in on Friday. I tell her thank you and that I will be out of town for the weekend so I will plan on Monday but to please call and confirm. I hear nothing so I call Tuesday and get the I'm not sure answer and that they would call the repair shop and find out. She calls back to tell me they didn't mail my rings but that they were mailing and I would be able to get them either Friday or Saturday and she'd call me. She called Friday to say I could come get my ring. I go in Saturday (they were busy so I had to wait 40-50 minutes to talk to someone. I get my band back and ask about the Ruby. It wasn't sent back. grrr. I ask can they please call them and have them take a picture so I can see the damage that was done to my ring. They say they were not sure? Ummm excuse me? I am POSITIVE they can get a picture of my ring and send it! I told them I expect to see a picture of the damages before I approve any remaking of my ring. They agree. I leave the store with my band only to find plyer or scuff marks of some sort on my band. I turn around and go back into the store and tell them we have a problem and show them the damage. They proceed to tell me that they didn't do anything to my ring after the ruby ring was damaged and that they could send it back for repair but could not give me a time frame of how long that would take. OK I am now shaking I am so upset. WHY would you take a horrible situation and make it worse? Just pour salt in that wound! To me, common sense would say lets at least make her band look new and shiny! I did not give them my band to send back. I have yet to hear anything more on my ruby or see any pictures and NO ONE has called. I will be sending my hubby in to chat with them. He's not as nice as I am.To be continued.......

Just visited the location. I was trying to see their options and prices for gold platted chains. Girl tried to check me in so consultant can assist me, but in order for them to show any items or even answer any of your questions they HAVE to create a account. I still can't believe that they told that they can't help me until I create a account. So basically if you don't have a account and trying just to compare or ask questions they won't helpI never had a jewelry store treat me like that. Hope your sales are good

If I could give 0 stars I would... ordered a wedding ring for my husband over 4 months ago, and we were told it would take max 6-8 weeks to receive it. We have repeatedly had to call to check the status of it, and every time every person we speak to has no idea and no ETA for us. No communication from them whatsoever. Still have no idea when we will get it, if ever. Sure glad this happened after the wedding and not before.terrible service. Will never buy anything from them again.

On the 20th of July 2022 .I took my ring in for a agraded .on the diamonds. I was told it was going to be one month .then I would have it back..so it was sent to Idaho..it sat in idaho for a month. Idaho told the zales in puyallup washington. It was to big of job for them .so they sent it to calf.i got a message on my answer machine. Saying it would back at zales in puyallup washington. I called today .no ring .calf told puyallup. That they don't have a date when it would be finished. Meanwhile I already got a bill for the upgrade. I have been getting my jewelry from zales for over 20 years. I would be so happy when I get it back because I will be taking my business elsewhere. Julie hergert

Well I asked for the district manager again and they refused to give me sherrills contact info. So now I have everything that can go wrong go wrong. The manager, and rep from the Portland store where I bought my wedding rings lied, messed up on the financial end. So now I'm over paying for a ring that I only just got today because they messed up and then refused to size my ring or refund it. I tried to refund my husband's ring because they kept messing up and then it wasn't resized correctly so it lost a gem. And then when they finally agreed to refund it they were not going to refund the whole thing so we would be paying still for nothing.This whole ordeal has been messed up and irritating. Spending thousands of dollars on each of the rings apparently isn't enough for these people to care or even call you back. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! I over heard a rep lying to another person while I was there, luckily that person left without buying anything.Again I say, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!They all refuse to even let me talk to the district manager sherrill!

I went online and found the perfect ring it was for sale on line. I went to order it and I needed a special size so the website directed me to make an appt for a sizing at a local store, and allowed me to make the appt on line. We arrived at the store at south hill mall 5 minutes before our appt and the sign said closed for (no reason visible) . The info desk was right there so we asked the person there if they had been closed all day, he said no, he thinks they went to lunch. 6 minutes after our scheduled time someone showed up unlocked the door and went in locking it behind her. 12 minutes later she opened the doors. When we came in, I said (very friendly) hi we've been waiting we had a 4 o'clock appt with you (it was now almost 430). The woman looked at me, and said what was it for? I told her, and she turned to another woman who said what do you want? (in a real snarly tone) I told her and she said we don't do that. I said the website referred me here, and I made an appointment as i was told and said what I wanted, so why did the website instruct me to do this and why when i made the appt a week ago didn't someone call me to tell me you didn't do that. She I said I don't know...we don't. She told the other girl to look up the deal online so she did. She asked if i wanted the warranty for $124 i told her no. She said you can order the ring and bring it back here for $164 for sizing or you can buy the warranty and get it for free. I told her that wouldn't be free it would be $124 The other woman that was so snarly said We don't do anything for free. I said thank you we have decide not to get the ring. As i was standing up she said That's fine, have a nice day and turned with her back to me to go in the back. When i came home i went to Zale's website to report to them what had happened, and the only way to speak to anyone was was through a computerized chat that kept saying it didn't understand so after three tries there i gave up. I never received an apology for them missing their own appt time, or for them not understanding me, or for them not being able to service me the way I felt I should be serviced. I will never ever buy anything at Zale's or deal with them in anyway they have the worst customer service and remember they don't do anything for free and they really don't care if they sell anything!

Definitely the place to buy jewelry. My husband bought my ring online from florida and sent it to me in Wash my stone was loose and it was all taken care with no issues. They have been around for a long time for a reason their Customer Service and products are the best.Brenda HillWashington State
