Bought my first used financed vehicle. Was very happy with Monty and his customer service. My experience at Toyota of Puyallup was very good. Would give more than five stars if I could.

I spent months on end researching vehicles and narrowed it down to the 4Runner. Throughout this time, I had what felt like hundreds of questions. Zach patiently answered every one of them, making the whole process much easier. Even when it was Zach’s day off, he made sure we were set up with Elyssa, who took amazing care of us. Sitting with her felt more like chatting with a close friend than dealing with a typical salesperson. No pressure, just genuine care. Zach and Elyssa made buying my 4Runner truly enjoyable. Their commitment to transparency and honesty throughout the process made all the difference. Thank you again, Toyota of Puyallup, for such an exceptional experience!

Let me start off first by saying I don't ever leave reviews on company's but this company doesn't even deserve 1 star, I bought a truck from this dealership in May 2024, Just over 2 weeks ago a warning came up that said the performance was being lowered due to engine over heating. I took out a extended warranty thru them and so I have to bring it there for the warranty to pay the deductible, so I called to schedule an appt. They scheduled me for the next day which was Friday Aug 30th 2024 I took it in Thursday night to drop off and it started with them telling me I didn't have an appt. I then showed them the text confirmation they had sent me that day confirming the appt. They then sent me over to talk with Joseph in service. Joseph stated that they may have to send it over to Ford and that I may not have the truck back on Friday but that I would get a call letting me know. I never received a call so I called Friday evening to check on the status and found out Joseph the service advisor was not there and that I would have to wait till Tuesday after the Labor Day Holiday. I asked if they had the car or if they sent it to Ford? He looked and said it looks like its at Titus Will so I called Titus Will Tacoma and they said they didn't have it so they transferred me over to Titus Will Lakewood and they didn't have it. I called Toyota back and they stated they weren't sure where it was and that I would have to wait till Tuesday. I didn't hear anything Tuesday so I called Tuesday and Joseph stated that the mechanic looked and there was a coolant leak with the water pump and there was a leak with the transmission oil cooler. He stated they needed to order the parts and that the parts would be in on Thursday Sept 5th I again never received a call so I called Friday Sept 6th to speak to Joseph and again Joseph was off. I talked to Jess another service advisor and said I needed at least a loaner since I had been out of a car for a week. She did get me a Toyota Corolla which is not even close to same size as a Ford F150 which I use for work and hauling items. I again was told I should know more on Monday when Joseph was back in. I called Joseph Monday Morning to find out they had ordered the wrong part and the correct part would be in on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no calls to update me so I called to speak to a service manager Wednesday. While I was on the phone with Dolan he informed me that he just got a text that the part they ordered for the second time was also the wrong part again. He had Joseph call me to let me know that he has a buddy that works for Ford and he told him to help him so they made sure the right part was ordered. I again was told the part would be ordered and the part would be in on Thursday Sept 12th. I did get a phone call from Joseph Thursday at 2:30pm to say that the correct part came in and they were working on it but that the clamp to fasten down the hose to the water pump was missing so that he needed to get that brought over. He stated it may come that afternoon or Friday. I waited till 11am Friday Sept 13th to call and get a update and was told nothing other than it wasn't in their shop and it was at the recon shop down the road. He said it should be done soon. At 3:30pm I got a call from Dolan that the truck was finally done and ready to be picked up. Before I could even get into the loaner car to go get it, Jess the service advisor called me and left me a voicemail saying that it was not ready as it was still leaking coolant. Dolan then 5 min later called to say that they checked it and it wasn't leaking they brought it to Toyota of Puyallup and checked it and it was not leaking. The mechanic went into a meeting and after the meeting thought I want to check this one more time and it was leaking coolant. stated that it's also not leaking from the part they replaced, so now they are sending it to Ford. So after not having my truck for 2 weeks who knows how many more weeks I will be without it.

Chad L. was an amazing salesman and everyone there did everything they could to get me the best price possible on my 2025 Camry!! I would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone! They don’t mark up the prices, and they’re extremely transparent in the fees added!

Pre-purchase, they are super responsive. Post purchase, they are unresponsive to emails and voicemails. I was told they had both sets of keys to the used truck I bought but ; “couldn’t find the 2nd set”. Over a week later, they are calling the previous owner for the 2nd set?! The salesperson still hasn’t provided any updates on this issue. Terrible customer service

I financed a certified vehicle. I understood upon purchase that there was some work that needed to be done on it, and I was told that it would be complete when I picked it up. I showed up 3 days later to find that the upholstery had not been cleaned and the taillight was still busted. No one called to inform me ahead of time. I had given my car to a family member and was left with the certified vehicle. I could've kept my older car to drive until they completed detailing the new one, if only they would have informed me ahead of time. Pictures of the car that they presented to me are posted. The only way that this review gets salvaged is if the after pictures are a significant improvement from before. Open and honest communication are key. This was not acceptable, and I'm not sure why they thought it was appropriate to try to give me a dirty car with a busted taillight. It should've been fixed prior to them trying to hand it over. This is not what I thought certified looked like. Not to mention that the traveling back and forth to this shop has been stressful and unnecessary while I'm working and going to law school. This should've been a "one and done." I don't have time to keep running over there. It's not efficient.
By the way, I did inform the gentleman at the dealership that they should've called me to inform me before permitting me to drive over for a vehicle that was not ready. So, this review shouldn't be a complete surprise... Unlike the vehicle that I arrived to collect!
After pictures will be posted when the vehicle is collected.
