well..... I have been having Shelly do my hair over the last year until I had her add low lights that became a disaster!! my hair was Ashy and dark. I was told to add lemon to my conditioner and see if that worked by her . I left with my hair wet so she couldn't tell. when that didnt work she had me come in and added a toner , I left with my hair wet again and still was to dark. no blonde at all. Shelly strung me along for over a week with every excuse to not refoil or even look at it and what didn't work! I paid $230 for a partial foil and cut(trim). I now need to go pay to have my hair fixed!!!! she's the owner, and over charges for average grade service. Quality not worth $$$$ ! I expected so much more from a business owner to treat a client so poorly. I have pictures and text to prove it!

Going in for my third appointment tomorrow and I am ecstatic! I suggest Kolour By Design to anyone who will listen because, in my experience, a hair appointment has never been easier, quicker, cheaper, higher quality, and long-lasting than the appointments I've had here. My mom wanted to get a standard cut and after she's seen the results of my hair and listened to my experience with the salon and my friendly hair stylist, Shelley, she filled out the questionnaire (with pictures of her current hair and reference photos at the ready) the next day and has an appointment scheduled for Friday! The reference pictures she used remind her of what her hair looked like when she was younger so I am anxiously awaiting her appointment as well as mine. Shelley always does an amazing job and clearly has plenty of experience and passion for her work so I know my mom will not be disappointed and I can't wait to see how happy she'll be after her appointment. I'm confident in the quality of work provided here and am appreciative of the comforting atmosphere, kind people, and pleasant conversations that have been ever present each and every time. If you're unsure about scheduling an appointment, let this be your sign

I took a lil trip to THE sweetest hair artists for a slight change and I've never been happier. I asked for a copper overtone with warm highlights and that's exactly what I got along with the most comfortable experience I've ever had. As someone with social anxiety and who is very shy she was so sweet and made it so easy to work with and talk about the image in mind because of it and that's my favorite part honestly. Thank you so much shelley for making it such a great experience with an even better outcome than I could have imagined

As soon as I walked in the door, Shelley greeted me with a warm smile. I was very hesitant about stepping back into a hairsalon as the last two times didn't go so well. I figured 3rd times a charm right? Right! I'm so glad I made my appt because Shelley did not disappoint! We talked while she was doing my hair & it was just a breath of fresh air just sitting there talking with her. She made my time there well worth it & I am beyond grateful for the outcome of my hair. I will definitely be back there in the future. So glad I finally found a good hair salon I can go to. Thank you Shelley for your remarkable work! I love it!!

Did wonders for me! 1. Fixed my hair after new shampoo bar ruined my hair 2. Gave me an excellent cut for my face / body type that 3 weeks later I am still in love with 3. Pleasant and flexible with my needs This is my new hair salon. Thanks for your expertise!

Nice area cute location respect covid-19 rules sanitize the chairs and such. Did a good job and not too pricey. I like the form they have you fill out when requesting to have your hair done by them, makes me feel really secure as my hair has had a lot of trauma from my self and other salons that were sketchy lol. I also like to know they can do subtle changes, i see their yelp/google review photos have lots of dramatic changes but i'm a subtle person and Shelley accomplished that no problem, i love being a brunette

Had Shelley place some Seahawk green and blue extensions throughout my hair and they turned out great!! She is so friendly and professional!! Will for sure be going back and would highly recommend Kolour By Design to all!!

Lisa did the most amazing job with my hair. It had 6 months of grown out with platinum blonde tips and a home done horribly done ombre. She not only restored my hair back to blonde... she blended all the damage/bad coloring.

Brittney did an amazing job with cutting my hair and was extremely personable. I will absolutely be returning and would highly recommend. Salon is small but cozy and isn't overwhelming like most large salons.
