I love the cut and color I got from Melita. Just what I wanted and her advice is spot on. She's very knowledgeable about hair and hair products, but not pushy. The salon itself however could use some TLC. Definitely needs a refresh. The chairs and equipment are old and worn and it seemed dirty. The mirror in the hair washing room was dirty. I made an appointment to see Melita again, but not sure I want to go back.
Requested style: Trying to grow out short, fine, thin hair. I showed Melita a picture and my cut is spot on.
Stylist: Melita. Again, awesome stylist and personality.

If I could leave a zero star review I would. This place has gone downhilll. Forewarned that if you make an appointment there, they have different levels of people who do hair therefore your charge might not be the same depending on what time and what stylist you were with. Unfortunately my daughter who used to be a regular there did not know this because she’s been gone at college (and her regular stylist left there and moved) and when she called to make an appointment they set her up at the time that was available. That was an $86 haircut. Nothing special just haircut. Instead of a $58 haircut. But they do not feel that it is a practice for them to say here’s the appointment times and here’s what each of the charges would be with that level of stylist. Instead, they don’t tell you any kind of pricing so you don’t realize that there’s a difference Until your hair is already being washed and they’re trying to upsell you. As a parent, I’m really angry from what happened to my daughter at this hair salon. She will not be going back. The manager that I just talked to said well, maybe that’s a practice we should start doing when people call for appointments. You think? But I was also told in that same sentence that there was nothing that they could do for me. Really you won’t reduce it at least the $30 that she got overcharged? I’ll be disputing with my cc company.
Edited to add that my daughter asked if I talked to a guy when I called in and I said yes and she said when she was sitting waiting for her appointment, she could hear him talking on to people and he was rude to whoever that was as well.

I have had some bad experiences with other salon stylists so I was hesitant to even try again but I'm so relieved and happy that I came to Tezé Salon and that they paired me with Jenny. She listened to what I wanted in a haircut and color and gave me her opinion which I appreciate and asked for. She took the time to explain everything she was doing from start to finish and didn't rush through any of the process from color to cut. I would recommend Jenny to anyone. She knows what she's doing and genuinely cares that you get what you want. The people at the front desk were also very helpful and made sure I was taken care of as soon as I entered the salon. I so appreciate that my confidence in stylists was returned...at least with Jenny.

Brooklyn (@locks.by.goldie) is such a pleasure to work with! She fixed my previous hairtastrophe and I've never loved a brunette color so much in my life! She's also super nice and styled me even though she was running late. :)

I have been been coming here for a few years now. The atmosphere is clean, sleek and accommodating. I get a new stylist almost every time and they have all been so wonderful to me and my hair. Recently I saw Melita and she was so professional and informative. She explained everything she was doing in detail and my hair turned out beautiful. Definitely a salon worth trying!

I went to a previous salon prior and most definitely didn’t get the outcome I was looking for. I reached out to Lauren and she got me in as soon as soon as she could AND SHE ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT !! Absolutely stunning!! Lauren is so sweet and takes her time making sure everything is going perfectly ! 100 percent book with her !!

This place is extremely unprofessional! I scheduled an appointment for 10am at the front desk in person and I told the girl to please make sure we had enough time booked. Then I get a call and I had to be flexible for the stylist who has a flight after my appt so I accommodated her time and came in at 8am & this girl shows up an hour late! She then proceeds to tell me she doesn’t have enough time for my hair when she should’ve been on time to begin with. Then brings another stylist over who tells me I should’ve got a consultation first. I will never go to this place again there’s better places and these stylist are just extremely catty

I've gotten my hair cut twice and colored once here. I really wanted to like it because it has a good vibe and nice staff. But I think most of the stylist are either inexperienced or poor communicators. I usually show up early to appointments and almost every time I have been seen late. And not by like 15min, by almost an hour. Instead of apologizing she just blamed the front desk person for not telling her I arrived. When I got my hair colored, I explicitly stated I did not want a golden balayage and that's exactly what I got. I was obviously unhappy and instead of letting me know she could fix it she just told me to go home and sleep on it. I went home and then dyed my hair myself wasting the $200 I just spent.

Came in for a simple men's cut. When I saw the way she was holding the trimmer I realized that I was going to be in for a rough ride. Long story short she didn't know how to blend, proportions were off, and overall seemed like she was forced to be there with zero experience. Had to ask for a couple of revisions and then gave up and left. Oh and then they charged me $60 for that. Ended up going to my original salon a couple weeks later and got an amazing cut, wash and head massage for $20.
