Always some very good prices on the best quality locally grown fruit, vegetables, and meat, especially if you shop the weekly specials. Most"pantry items" are very expensive, but are high quality items from small specialty suppliers. I wish more of those things were within my budget, but that's my problem not theirs. The fruit quality is outstanding and there's always something great that's priced very low. Most recently I bought Comice pears for $1.99/lb that are the same paper wrapped "Christmas pears" that are packed in expensive mail order gift boxes. Absolutely incredible.Don't miss their huge wall of their own brand of very large jars of herbs/spices that are much larger, cheaper, and higher quality than the regular grocery store. They only have a few choices (usually a few kinds of turkey, ham, and roast beef), but their sliced deli meats are top quality and very significantly cheaper than any grocery store. So yes, it's generally considered an expensive specialty market, but a smart shopper familiar with their offerings can get some of the best stuff cheaper than the big grocery stores.

Love this place! Amazing selection of pastas, wine and beer. They have a fantastic gluten free section too. They sell gorgeous Chrisman trees and wreaths, beautiful plants in the summer, cheeses, fresh meat, vegetables and fruits, all beautifully arranged. The staff are wonderful too. They are a bit pricier than the regular grocery store but they have lots of unusual and hard to find items. You won't be disappointed!

The employees are always amazing and the food is always fresh. Chad in the meat department saw I had my daughter in my arms and offered to help pick out the oysters and clams I needed. He included my son and made his day. Thank you so much for making that errand so much easier with two kids in tow.

They have just about everything rare, as far as sauces, wines, the best meats (cooked or not), the best veggies, and the best flower's and pots ! Wonderful and courteous employees, my sister came for thanksgiving and she hadn't been in your store before so we went and she totally loved it ! She wished that she had one by the ocean !! And a Big Thank You for working on a Holiday !!

Insofar as produce, Tacoma Boys has everyone else beat. Most of it is locally grown -- you can see and taste the difference. For example, there's less dirt and debris on the heads of lettuce. You get what you pay for. It's slightly more expensive, but fresher and cleaner is worth it to me. I also love their 20# of apples for $20. That's unbeatable. The fresh meat and seafood section is top-notch. I was never disappointed, though I'm mostly a vegetarian now. They have a diverse wine selection, but I don't drink, so I can't comment about quality. Everything else is too expensive for my budget.

I absolutely love this store! We came here a couple days ago and it was our first time. The plants outside are well taken care of and inside they have everything you could need to cook with. Their cuts if meat is fantastic!

I barely made it into the store, as there is so much on the outside. I bought fruit and a basil plant. Prices are high, however the plant and produce quality was really good.

Lots of expired foods on the shelves. Shop at your own risk. Check expiration.—I am new to the area and came to the store for the first time in June of 2023. I was building a gift basket for a coworker and was looking for fun and quirky foods to include. As I walked around the aisles to the left of the registers I was appalled by how many items that I picked up were actually expired.Store inventory needs to be managed. This is completely unacceptable. I don’t think I’ll be shopping here again.

Locally owned and operated, and it shows. Great meat counter. Excellent selection of seasonings and sauces plus gourmet items. And seasonal items. They currently stock gorgeous plants, hanging baskets and a wonderful selection of plant pots in numerous sizes. Love this place!

Awesome place, stopped by for some fruit but discovered a whole new world inside. Has an amazing variety of pretty much everything, All the products look great and fresh, got some delicious seasoned turkey sandwich meat, and ground spicy sausage. The best part is that it's advertised to be open 24/7!

My first time shopping for produce at this chain and the strawberries are far from fresh. The top 4 were good but as you got in the middle some had mold spots they are slimy, dark and clearly over ripped.I called and asked for an exchange and was told that I needed to call and talk to the owners because I should have been told to eat them the same day. I bought them 6/14 at 3pm and had one 6/15 at 5am and realized how not fresh they are but because they “were not fresh to begin with from off the truck” it’s my fault I didn’t confirm that I should eat them that day with the cashiers.I was also told to try and speak to the Manager over the owner because he was nicer.Just felt like it was handled incorrectly especially because I’m not requesting my money back I would actually love to be a repeat customer but because I asked for an exchange and was told no and to call back the next day to figure out the owner or manager would do for me.The meat was great though ?

Generally speaking, I have loved my interactions with employees. Today, that was not the case with Billie (sp?). I spent $66 on two bouquets of flowers. They were wrapped in cheap plastic and couldn't be presented this way to anyone. When I asked a question A's I was trying to trouble shoot regarding f the butcher might have some paper, she was not helpful at all and said we don't do flower wrapping here. Disappointing interaction for what I usually receive as far as employee interactions. Won't be back to this location.

Love Tacoma Boys. Good selection of foods/wines, etc. Great produce and flowers and plants and meats. Overpriced on a lot of items commonly sold for 1-2$cheaper elsewhere. Good deals on pots if you need a 800 gallon flowerpot for your door.
