I purchased a certified used car from Puyallup Chevrolet Buick GMC on Saturday January 21, 2023. I was very pleased with the young man, ******, who helped me. He didnt give me the usual run around with having his manager approve everything, that when the paperwork was done, it was all approved at once. I was able to drive home in my new to me 2020 Dodge Journey and am very happy with it. Thank you Puyallup Chevrolet Buick GMC.*****************************

This place hires techs that smoke pot on the job while working on vehicles. Not only is that dangerous for the person but its so dangerous for everyone working around them. Such a safety hazard. Should do random drug tests. Drugs and vehicles never mix well. Watch out.

the service department needs some training will not go back they had more car for 3 weeks as I got the run around as to why it was taking so long. Finally received the call it was done, picked it up and noticed the air was not cold and had to take it right back. 2nd time I picked it up a part was missing on my car. After many phone calls and leaving messages (of which were never returned) and over a month later they replaced it. it was nice they came and picked it up and brought it back but it was the lease they could do. that's why they get 2 stars instead of 1

Harnish Auto is lucky to have Tyler Montes as an employee. The value he brings to the company is clearly exhibited based on his years of experience growing up with a family in the auto industry, he is excellent in his position. My husband and I have been searching for a new vehicle, and our first ever truck, for nearly 3 years. After a day of searching and test driving at other dealerships throughout King/Pierce County, we made it to River Road to see what Harnish Auto had on their lot. Tyler Montes immediately asked my husband what he was looking for, and showed him the two brand new 2022 LT Trail Boss Silverado 1500's that were on the lot. His knowledge of the vehicle safety, design, and overall operational features was impressive. Speaking to him was like speaking to a long-lost friend. We were immediately able to make a connection and provide him a better understanding of what we were looking for. Tyler Montes explained the difference between the GMC Sierra 1500 SLT X31, other Sierra trims, other Silverado trims, and even the Canyon/Colorado trims. Further, once we knew that the full size truck was right for us, we test drove the vehicle around the block and got to try out all of the features and get a feel for the LT Trail Boss. Once we decided that this was the exact truck we wanted, our finance process went smoothly with the assistance of Tyler Montes and Billie (finance specialist). We chose to add on the additional warranty because it comes with much more than damage/defects. The ceramic paint/body coating and full protective interior coating is well worth it, because I have it on one of our other vehicles (when they try to sell it to you, definitely consider your options). The detail department completely detailed the truck inside out prior to our departure. Tyler Montes showed us how to activate OnStar, Bluetooth, and Android Auto. Also, he showed us how to use the tailgate, headlights, and camera system.

When you have to call a business for 2 hours and get put on hold several times and get disconnected while on hold it's ridiculous. When you finally reach someone they tell you they are short handed and rude to you . This is supposed to be a family owned business and treat people with respect. Maybe the owner should be there more often so people can be treated with respect. If it wasn't for the customers no one would have a job there. No one needs to be disrespected. It's not the customers fault you are short staffed. Treating your customers with respect and loyalty will bring you more business and not drive them away.

This dealership, and my salesman John Valentine, were extremely professional and helpful and committed to having a satisfied customer. I was and continue to be pleased with the service I received there. Thanks to everyone at the Chevy dealer and the Harnish family.

I took my VW to Harnish in Puyallup this week. It was an unpleasant experience from beginning to end. I was promised a ride home so they could have the car overnight. The scheduler assured me the dealer would do that. The person at the desk said they were short staffed & couldn't do that. The service manager ended up taking me home in my car, which was ok with me. I was told they would give updates the next day. At 4pm Tues I called them, was on hold 30 minutes & then disconnected. I called back finally talked to a phone scheduler & requested a stop work order & headed to Harnish. The service desk person Darwin called me & said they did diagnostics & could repair the car Wednesday. I told him I was on my way to get my car & cancel the service. He said he would see me when I got there. He was not there when I arrived he left as his shift was over. While I was waiting to get my car, 2 car technicians ( mechanics) told me they saw my car in the lot all day, but there was no repair order. Darwin's job. So, I paid for the diagnostics (over $400) which I believe was done after I stopped the work, but it was done. The mechanic got my car & apologized for the experince. I am sympathetic to shortage of workers after COVID, but updates & honesty could have avoided the loss of $1000+ business from me not to mention return business. I will never go to Harnish VW again. Besides a Yelp review I will tell everyone I can.

All I can say is wow! I was in a pretty bad situation and had negative equity on my car and my engine blew. Ryan helped me get me into a 2020 car and was able to find me the perfect lender and helped me roll over my loan!! He was up front about everything and I would recommend my family and friends to go see him and Tre!!

Two stars for lack of customer service. Booked my oil change appointment with the service department. When my boyfriend dropped off the car he was told that he had to wait two hours for the oil change! I called into the service department to verify and the person that spoke to me on the phone was very unprofessional. I asked why it would take 2 hours for an hour long task and she said it's because the shop has too many cars they are working on and they are behind. I asked for a loaner and she said "no". So basically my boyfriend has to wait around for two hours because their service department is behind. This was not a free oil change, we paid around $80 for this. BE RESPECTFUL OF EVERYONES TIME.

A little background about myself. I have been in the military for 24 years and when you are scheduled to be someplace at a specific time, one better be there. That brings me to Harnish Quick Lube Service Shop. Why does the shop schedule you an appointment? My time was for 15:00 and I arrived 10min early. In the military, if you are 5min early, your late. When I arrive, I was waiting to check in when a gentleman in front of me brought his car in early, 1hr early. I handed my keys in, my car was not pulled in until 16:30, and what make thing worse, the gentleman that checked his car in before me was serviced first. I was not out until 17:30. Again, Why do they schedule appointments! Thanks

I bought a Kia Soul from them at the end of July 2021 and had a decent experience. However, in the three months of having the car, I have had two issues: Early in October (when the rain started) I noticed a leak where the hatch door meets the roof. I took the car in to service and was told it would take around 2-4 hours. It took about six and I was told it was a body issue that needed a separate appointment. So I came back and expected another six hour day, after about two hours a salesman, Ryan popped in and asked if I wanted to see if he could get me into something that could better suit my needs. I figured I had several hours of waiting to do so why not. After several hours of back and forth I decide that I'm ready to check on my car so I walk over to service where I am told that they determined HOURS AGO that the car would need to go to a body shop and has been sitting parked and ready to go. The guy at the service desk seems confused with my confusion, stating that he suggested to Ryan that he get me into something different. Ryan had not mentioned this to me, I thought my car was being worked on for those past few hours. So I make ANOTHER appointment to come back Monday 10/11 to speak with Bill Craft. So I will update the review based on that experience. Since making that appointment I've had several incidences of the battery dying. When explaining the problem to Ryan I cited the blinkers going very fast when I use either turn signal as a sign of the battery being low since I purchased the car. I don't know too much about cars and rather than help me find a solution he zeros in on googling fast blinkers and turning the screen around to prove me wrong that the blinkers going fast are simply a bad bulb. Ok that's great but that doesn't explain the dead battery and having to jump my car to start it. He sends me to budget battery to shut me up basically, without offering any sort of inspection. Awful experience with Ryan specifically, and I do not have high hopes for future experiences at this dealership. I'd go to a third party but Midas had trouble running a diagnostic, saying there was some sort of block on the system. I'm not sure what that means but I've never had this many problems with a car or salesperson. Ryan is a great salesman but that's about it.
