I called to get my 5 lb poodle in quickly because of her symptoms. Because she had not been in before she said can’t get her in because she has to have new pet appt. This was before she even asked me what is wrong. My little tiny girl is having bloody diarrhea, vomiting, won’t eat and is very lethargic Does that sound like she shouldn’t see a dr right away? But as I said she didn’t even ask what is wrong with her. If that is the way a pet mom and her baby is treated then I would not recommend this place for normal appts let alone urgent care. Not sure if the vets think this is an acceptable way to treat people and pets but if it is then there is zero compassion.

I no longer love it here. It seems as though they've taken on too many customers. No longer can I get one of my pets in to be seen in a timely manner. I'm not waiting a week+ when one of my pets has an important issue. I'm moving on...

Our family has been using South Hill Vet Hospital for about 17 yrs now, We love them, we just miss Dr Lawrence to pieces, Dr Chang is wonderful and we see her often. Our Big floofy boy saw the groomer Monday July 8th, we love his cut. He is a Great Pyrenees Clumber Spaniel mix, as he's gotten older he has become allergic to himself. He gets hot spots especially in the hotter months, due to his super long thick coat, we can miss the hot spots, so shaving him helps... Kuddos to a job well done!! ( photos are before & after, we took a few lbs of fur iff this guy!)

Very thoughtful and caring staff. Been seeing them for years. They are very good about getting back to me. They also take time to check on my pet to see how my dog is doing.

So on their website it shows they are an emergency hospital and they're open on Sundays so I called Sunday morning to see if they can help me because my dog is in excruciating pain and they wouldn't even offer to see him they just said I had to take him to an emergency room absolute worst place do not take your animal there

THE BEST VET IN PUYALLUP!! My family has brought all of our cats and dogs here and they always receive great care as well as heartfelt compassion in times of loss. There are not enough good things I can say about these guys!

This is my dog's Dr.s office.
My ole boy is getting up there in years. He had to have some labs and these fine folks saw him when we first got him. He had bobble head,poor guy but he was OK after awhile. I would recommend this place. He had his surgery and it was a success. He is home resting and recovering.
