If I could give negative 10 stars I would. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go here. Everyone here is completely incompetent. I got my car fixed at Gerber where the repairs were done improperly and water started leaking into my car. I asked to have them fixed again and they refused to follow up even after calling 7 or 8 times. I basically had to threaten to report them to the BBB (which of course got their attention and forced them to follow up with me). They are also unable to communicate as they dropped me off at enterprise without having anything prepped for me. Now enterprise is trying to charge me over 100$ for a rental when Gerber was supposed to have my car done months ago. There is so much more but hopefully that's enough to have you steer clear.

Almost double the initial estimate, put my windshield wiper on backwards, replaced the back door but not the latch. Had to wait another two weeks to get that fixed so I could open the back door. Had to miss a day of work and no one seemed overly concerned when they kept going over the time needed to fix it. I would not recommend.

I had a very minor fender bender and this company was listed as one of the shops to get an estimate done. Everyone was friendly from making the appointment to greeting me. John took great care of me. It was a pleasure encountering such nice people. John was Able to pop my panel back in place and there was nothing else that needed to be done. I really appreciated my experience with this company.

Gerber Collision Puyallup , WA Is one of the worst experiences I have had . They have had my car for several weeks now. They received my car from my insurance company and have done nothing with it. They now have just looked at my car and advised it is salvageable. Their office and building are dirty as well as the parking lot. They have no customer service skills and are very rude and non communicative Now they have assessed the damage they are supposed to repair the car and advised me that they won't give me any timeline. This after they have already had my car for several weeks. How do they expect someone to survive without a car for a few months? The crazy thing as well is supposedly they are so backed up, But are closed by 5 pm and do not open on the weekends. People are now too entitled and lazy. I have never seen a car repair shop closed on the weekends. I guess they must be robbing my insurance and others blind and only need to work on a limited schedule. I wonder if they charge car insurance for storage this whole time. Just insane.

I wish I could leave Zero Stars. They had my car for 2 weeks. Finally got it back and as soon as they gave me my keys I noticed that my key was bent. To the point of breaking off. Informed them about it. Got it told they didn't do it,it came that way (for real!?!) And there was nothing they could do about it. And to top everything off, I would like to know why there is an extra 50 miles driven on my car!!!! Like did you guys take my car home with you!?! Never come back here EVER again!!

Unless you were intentionally looking for the absolute worst customer service and vehicle repair experience of your life, I would highly recommend avoiding Gerber on South Hill at all cost. I had my 2023 F-150 in for a very minor bumper repair that was originally estimated to take a week or less. Not even any paint, glass, or body work involved. This simple repair evolved into a nearly 4-week ordeal of the most frustrating, disappointing, and in my opinion, dishonest experience with another business in my life. They seemed to be inept at communication and were unable to provide honest answers or updates. On the rare occasions that they did respond, the answers felt dishonest and insulting. Their workmanship was terrible. I genuinely feel like my vehicle was worse for having gone there. When i was notified that my vehicle was finally ready for pick up, the first thing I noticed walking into the parking lot was that the Active Air Dam on my truck, located below the bumper, was hanging down and connected at only one end! How in the world do you miss something like that? It's the first thing that jumps out at you when you look at the vehicle! At the end of the day, I ended up having it fixed elsewhere. Their solution that day was to have me take the vehicle home anyway, air dam hanging a few inches off the ground, and they would figure it out and call me later. To be fair, they did call back a few days later and ask me to bring the truck back in so they could take a look, but at that point I was unwilling to potentially go through another month of the same horrific service I had just endured. I just wanted to be done with them. Even if it meant paying out of pocket or taking care of it myself to get the truck back to original condition, anything was better than engaging again with Gerber and having to rely on them for a positive outcome. One last thing I will say though, whoever cleans the interior and exterior of the vehicles did a great job. That was genuinely the highlight of my entire experience.

Do not go here. I strongly advise against choosing Gerber Collision for anything you need done to your car. My experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. As a woman, I felt passed over and treated differently, I received false updates about my car's status to make it seem like my car was being worked on and it was in the shop for a month and multiple dates were communicated to me and updates would take a long time to get. Only after my husband intervened and started calling instead did we start getting accurate information and updates, even though it was the same person providing the update. The repair, initially promised to be fast, dragged on for an entire month. Both my husband and I mentioned both of these concerns prior to even picking up the car as well. They just said "they strive to not do that", no apology or anything. So for both of those reasons I had already decided I would never go back. And you'll notice all the other reviews seem to mentioned the same poor quality and communication. Suddenly, 6 months after my car had been picked up, I received a random $600 bill they said I owed even though I have the invoice saying it was fully paid. They either have really shady and unethical practices and I doubt whether I even actually owe it or they are incompetent at managing their own finances and books as a company. Gerber Collision's communication, repair timelines, and billing practices are severely lacking and they seem incredibly shady. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for reliable service, there are lots of great places in Puyallup or else you might suddenly get a call saying you owe them over half a grand more.

Never used Gerber. When it was South Hill Collision I had used them numerous times. Estimator stated 4-5 day repair. Also part of repair would be a small dent/dimple in panel of body they would be working also would also be taken out. Communication was lack luster. Had my car for 1 month, 1 week. I was really trying to be flexible and gracious. They called to ask me if I was ok with a scratch on my rim they couldn't get off in the area they were repairing. Why should that be a question? I wanted new rim, but didn't want to wait for another 2-3 weeks so I said order the part, put it in my trunk and I'll pay someone else to replace it. My car was delivered to me dirty. AND add insult to injury, there was overspray on the area by the repair that is incredibly noticeable. Oh and that little dimple/dent I was promised would be taken out, NOT........still there. Guess this is how they like to deliver finished products to clients. No quality control on what is going out the door. I called the General Manager to discuss the issue, Jason, and he has yet to return my phone call. Pretty much thinking that he doesn't care what a customer has to say and has no intention of returning my phone call. Should have gone to Meridian Collision where I had my car repaired last time. And I reported the issue to my insurance carrier. They are totally taking my insurance carrier for a ride. All they are interested in is collecting the insurance check. Meridian Collision would have had the work finished completely and my car would be clean and to me in two weeks. Highly DO NOT recommend them. I will never be using them again. Totally regret my decision.

John is super helpful and detailed!Gerber Collision has recently taken over and has negatively impacted the service level I was accustomed to over the last 15 or so years. Unfortunately, I will not recommend them.

Worst service EVER! Never go to this place! They are to busy and will NOT get your car done in a timely manner. I'm waiting so far 3 weeks and they haven't even started. They do not care about you or when you get your car back. I will never go back! It ended up taking 4 months, way to long ridiculous!

Before they were bought by Gerber we had been very happy using South hill for 20 years . Recently we got an estimate and were told 3 times 7 days, turned into 10, then 14, then it's 18 and when i went to get it they had put the damaged rear window back in and tried to pass it off. Called them on it...excuses were plenty. Then another few days and more excuses and when i did get it it looked ok so i took it and later realized they used an inferior quality glass that wasnt oem in quality or fit. Update: i did originally post that they charged an extra $500, after speaking with my agent this was a misunderstanding based on text from insurance company.

Turned our car in Monday for repairs, received text messages with updates through out the week. Repairs were finished on Friday...the car looks amazing!
