Darran and Josh have been PHENOMENAL in bringing my legs back to full health after surgery. From hobbling in there to begin post-surgery table work to challenging me with exercises appropriate to every stage of the recovery journey, they gained my trust in what they felt was best for me. They're attentive, adaptative to how you're feeling, and personalized in their care. I got discharged today feeling much more informed and confident in how I can continue to strengthen my legs. On top of that, they have been excellent people to have conversation with—which with being a remote worker feels so nice to chat with quality people. Hoping I never have to go back to PT but if I have to, I'm coming back here.

I have been receiving treatment at Restore Physical Therapy in Puyallup for a couple of months now and am SO IMPRESSED! I had been going to other physicians and therapists for nearly a year and no one was able to come close to helping me. Then I found Darren and Josh at Restore. I highly recommend these guys! They are well-trained in the Jones Strain/Counterstrain technique and have given me my life back. I am so thankful to them, they are a major blessing to me! They are prompt, responsive to all my needs, very professional and friendly. It feels like family at Restore Physical Therapy.

We are very Proud to serve the veterans and active service members in our community and have done so for very many years. It is very upsetting to me that we had 1 veteran RH feel we did not serve him well. I can say where many things claimed in his review that are very inaccurate, but it was his perception. I have been utilizing the counterstrain technique for over 25+ years and I am board certified in the technique. I did provide him with both "simple and complex" explanations of the approach. We also have explanations on our Website, as well as the two main counterstrain websites that promote and provide continuing education and research and development of the technique. I can also say with confidence that there are many veterans out there that we have helped restore back to full recovery using counterstrain and that have referred their family members and friends. This is the best compliment that we receive when someone trust us enough to tell and send their family members and friends. It happens very frequently and consistently. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

I have been to many physical therapists for various reasons due to lupus and non has helped me like Restore Physical Therapy. Darren, Josh and Grace help me recover back to wholeness. Every technique they performed had me smiling in amazement because I felt relief. I was experiencing a migraine twice and Josh worked on that and it went away quicker than it ever had. Let me not forget Amber, she is the receptionist. She is very kind and pleasant. Her soft spoken voice makes you feel so welcome and when schedule your appointments and there is a cancellation, she will call you to see if you want to come in sooner. I battle with Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Bulging Discs in my neck and lower back just to name a few things and this professionally trained staff helped me to live a normal life again. I encourage you to stop and make an appointment. They brought me hope and happiness once again.

Where do i begin; Id like to start by saying that if you are a veteran DO NOT go to this place for PT because they are unprofessional, unorganized, and they do not adhere to appointment schedule. If you are a complex case, meaning more than 1 singular simple injury, DO NOT go here because they will have multiple books out, including using google during your appointments to make attempts and rendering "treatment." They claim to be proficient in counterstain technique and when I inquired about this technique no one could explain to me what it actually is, modality, mechanism, protocol, nothing. The alleged PT that was working on me, Grace, did not have basic anatomical knowledge. She used book reference during all of my appointments to find basic anatomical features because she was not sure of their location. Those are her exact words. Darren the alleged manager/owner claims that there is no way anyone can have knowledge of the techniques without using books while at the same time claiming that the PT's at this facility have all these years of experience. It stands to reason that if you're a competent provider, you review the case before-hand, so that you have working knowledge of ailments, previous tx, medications, surgeries, chief complaint. No one had any idea of the aforementioned and each appt was like my very first appointment. Darren also claimed that he was sorry for the poor tx and only want to engage in pointless rhetoric all the while not being able to give me a simple or even complex explanation on what counterstain technique is, because they have no idea. I asked him if he was so sorry and wanted to make this right, call the VA and tell them that you want to send them the money back that was paid for my poor treatment so that another veteran has the funds available. All i heard was complete silence on the other end. These people have no idea what they are doing and whatever license they claim to have needs to be reviewed and reprimanded. You cannot treat every patient the same way and expect a different outcome. As a health provider its glaringly obvious that this place does not care about the patient and simply checks the boxes to get a check that they do not deserve. This is my warning to the general public and i also hope the state of washington reviews this place because no one should be going here for PT if they want actual care provided. Poor facility, inexperienced staff, rude owner. VETERANS STAY AWAY.
