I have had many pets over the years and been to many Vets. Everyone at this Vets office are friendly, informing and you can tell they go up and beyond for the care of your pet. On point when speaking with you. I will be back for sure and thank you for all you do.

From the minute you step into the Puyallup Valley Veterinary Clinic, everybody you come into contact with treats you and your loved furbabies with genuine compassion. My picky kitty's don't even mind!
Every time my boy's have needed care, they go out of there way to make our visit as comfortable and friendly as possible.
There veterinary skills are amazing and accurate, I would recommend them to all pet owners. George and Mr. Meowgi would too if they could text.

I always have a great experience at Puyallup Valley Veterinary Clinic. They have helped with everything from my puppies to when the sad day comes when we have had to say goodbye to our elderly pets. Highly recommend!

Today was my first visit to Puyallup Valley Vet. I took my 11 year old cat in for a standard wellness exam with some other small concerns. I’ve been to a couple other vets in the area over the last 10 years and never felt like my questions were answered or that I was ever given a game plan for my concerns (cat acne, heart murmur, etc). Dr. Bordman gave my cat the most thorough exam he’s ever had and I actually felt good leaving the appointment with a game plan to deal with my cats allergy issues. The vet tech and front end staff were also lovely. Looking forward to working with Puyallup Valley Vet in the future!

The staff at Puyallup Valley Vet Clinic are always courteous and helpful. Even though we drive 25 miles to get to their office it is not an inconvenience. Note that we were referred to them by our previous Vet in Erie CO. Could not have gotten a better referral.

I cannot express in words how wonderful this clinic is! A few weeks ago they found something requiring surgery for my pug. They got her in ASAP, and were beyond fair in pricing. Today she had her staples removed and is feeling so well. They treat her so well, and truly care for the animals health.
Thank you to Dr. Bordman, Dr. Clark and the amazing support staff!

I have been a customer of this practice for over 12 years. Up until a few years ago, going there felt like an extension of my family. I was confident in the care my pets received. It was also clear (again, up until a few years ago) that the vets and staff were upfront about costs as well as ways to avoid unnecessary costs. I clearly remember Dr. Casey giving me a list of foods that we could try for our pet that were not high end.
That being said, things have changed. The staff is still wonderful. That's not the issue. The issue is the costs vs. time spent with our pets. Most recently, one of our pets was seen for a booster shot with a tech for 5 minutes, and this also included a nail trim. We were given a bill that floored us-and with a smile. This was something we've been noticing for the past year, but it has just continued to escalate. In the game of balance-the costs vs. time was the tipping edge for us. We know they mean well, but it doesn't feel the same in terms of time, and certainly not in terms of cost. It's driven us to leave after over a decade of solely using them as our vet.
The vet was very prompt to reach out when we said we were leaving and to explain their pricing in further detail. However, it won't change the fact that the prices are just too high. Definitely consider this if you choose to use this vet and be prepared...it will be shocking.

BEWARE - MONEY SUCKERS! We have brought our two frenchies here for over 6 years. We LOVED the old owners - they were personable, treated us like family and truly cared about our pets well being! Ever since the new owners have taken over, we have had poor experience after poor experience. This office is all about $$ and couldn’t care less about you or your pet - all they do is nickel and dime you!
Our final straw was when they would not let us purchase antibacterial wet wipes (one that DOES NOT need a prescription and can get on Chewy, Walmart, Amazon, etc. without one) without having us bring in our dogs for another appointment so they can “prescribe” them to our dogs. Apparently, they have a “new” policy where they will not allow you to purchase these without your pet being seen first. Mind you, the last time we brought in our dog a few months ago, we were advised to use these said wipes - so why would I need to bring her in yet again just to get more?
The receptionist was adamant that the dogs needed this as a prescription but was willing to let me pick them up today for an extra $15 since it was an “expedited request” (less than a 24-48 hour turnaround). What is funnier is that earlier this week, towards the end of the day, I called to see if I can pick up flea medicine for both my dogs (which I did need a prescription for) and a different receptionist said they needed one hour to get the docs sign off and I could pick it up before they closed, with no extra charge!!
I would have loved to support local, but instead I will just order these wipes from the big box and we will unfortunately be bringing our pets and business else where. Save your time & money and support another business that cares about your pet and doesn’t overcharge you.
To the business owners - providing good customer service will continue to bring you loyal customers who are willing to pay, but once when you become greedy it’s a different ball game.
