I do not normally leave reviews but lately I have been so moved by the kindness, love and devotion from my son’s teacher, and all the of the wonderful staff at Meridian!!! We have been through some not so great centers but finally think we found our home.My son is in Miss Katie’s / Miss Brittney’s class, day in and day out he comes home with a smile on his face, stories to share and new facts of the things he’s learned. As a mother I cannot express how grateful and relieved I am to know I’m leaving him in the most capable hands. Miss Katie has always gone above and beyond to ensure that I as a parent feel comfortable, my son feels that he is welcomed and safe, and that her classroom is a place of not only fun but clearly a place of learning. ?Big thanks to Meridian, my family is forever thankful.- Melissa Roush

What I love most about this center is that EVERYONE knows our children. They all say hi and know about them as people, whether they are their teachers or not. It just feels very warm and welcoming and they always let us know the good and bad in their days. We feel very comfortable and confident with their care

My daughter has been attending Meridian Kindercare for more than 5 years. Every day since she started in the Toddler B classroom with Ms. Tammy she has received exceptional care. Of course there have been times where problems have arisen throughout such a long period of time, but I have always been able to resolve any issue quickly. From the very first day I have felt that we were part of a family, and that my child is truly loved and cared for. There are a lot of staff that have been at the center for years. Meridian Kindercare and their staff have seen my family through happy times and difficult ones as well, and through it all I have always felt that they were there to support my family. I am truly grateful to call Meridian Kindercare part of my family. Especially in times like these, it is so important to have a safe place for my child to spend time, and I am lucky to have such wonderful, caring people take care of her. Thank you for all you do, I truly could not do this without you!

KinderCare is a nationally recognized child care provider and Meridian goes above and beyond. The amount of connection that they provide to the family is incredible even during this unprecedented time. The level of safety and security makes your feel comfortable during drop offs and pick ups. The teachers and leadership always seem like they are having the best day ever and even though they only quickly meet the parents and guardians they very quickly remember you and your car which makes the drop off/ pick up seamless and fast. The teachers share detailed informational support developmental steps for your child and help them along every step of the way. Hands down I'd recommend to any family or friend.

Meridian Kindercare has been a complete and total God send to my son and I. When first attending six months ago my son had some social / emotional set backs that quickly turned into aggressive behavior. Instead of turning him away, the staff pulled together and came up with a plan to to not only tackle the issues at hand but to provide him with strategies to assist him in the long run. Thanks to all the staff at Kindercare, we greatly appreciate you.

My child has been attending Meridian KinderCare since she was a little over 1 y/o (4.5 years at the time of this review). Our family has grown positively with her and the center through all its changes in classes, tuition, leadership/overall staff over the years. With each change, our daughter remained happy, bright and never upset with having to go to "school" - much like others have noted for their own children.Classes: Pre-COVID, I consistently observed there to be anywhere between 15 to 20 kids present in each age group she's been in, staffed with 1 to 2 teachers depending on size. Post-COVID, they've reduced it to half that size. Staff and kids (5+) wear masks and parents do a self-temp check at the door to confirm no fever is present before their child is allowed to enter the building. If there is an incident between the kids (i.e. bickering over toys, biting, etc), we'd receive notification of it. They hold periodic parent-teacher meetings, even for toddlers (at least in my experience). Alerts have evolved over time through take-home paper slips to electronic communication. She always comes home with some sort of art/craft she's made for the day and we now receive center alerts, updates and photos of activity via the KinderCare app throughout the day. Kids receive meals and snacks within their classrooms at scheduled times of the day.Tuition: Rates have increased steadily over the years for each class (seems like an extra $50-$100/month from when we started) but it has been expected to support the costs incurred to provide full-day care for children. There is also an annual fee each September that has remained pretty steady over time. Payments were previously made on a weekly basis and has evolved to monthly installments due at the beginning of each month. As with all accounts, a late fee is applied if payment is not made by a certain time of the month (and perhaps dis-enrollment in really tardy cases). New for 2020 is an accredited kindergarten program that includes both a curriculum structured for a face-to-face school day (8:30 to 3:30) as well as before/after school care, all for a similar price we pay now to have her enrolled in full-day care. It will be very limited in class size and we are thankful they have presented families with this option this year.Reliability/Staff: We've been with the center as it has changed leadership through Judy, Samantha and now Jessica. We've found all to be pleasant to work with, friendly and easy to approach/call with questions. In my experience they have all communicated through an ample amount of email updates but Jessica has been exceptionally good with keeping families up-to-date on the center's current affairs and in a very timely manner, especially now provided the time we are living in. All staff have generally been pleasant and greet you (and your child) with either a smile or hello as you walk through the center (pre-COVID) or at the door (post-COVID). We trust the safety and care provided by the staff.TL;DR - We have been pleased with the amount of growth our child has experienced with this center, even throughout its evolution over time. Since she's been attending for so long, we have watched her language, comprehension and social interaction develop in an advanced manner and we would do it again if we had another child.

We previously had good care at this center. But our last year here, there was turnover in the before and after school care and management. New management and caretakers weren’t very communicative. Prices were raised by a ridiculous amount without clear communication. Always has to review the charges because we wouldn’t receive the 2nd child discount and were billed incorrectly. I would speak to a manager or asst mgr when I came in out not having my kids in during breaks, but then would still be charged when I was told otherwise. Would ask for someone to contact me multiple times but wouldn’t hear anything back. My kids constantly came home and said there was not enough snacks available and were hungry. When they would attend full day during breaks, they would tell me all they were fed were sandwiches and not what’s on the menu. We put our notice in to stop care and no response. Recently found out we were sent to collections! Not happy with them at all.

Meridian Kindercare is wonderful. My daughter has received amazing learning opportunities as well as wonderful care. She loves going and is disappointed on days she doesn't have "school".

I love the staff at KinderCare on Meridian. My daughter has been attending this school for over two years and she loves her teachers past and present Mrs. Shay, Mrs. Katie, Mrs. Maggie, & Mrs. Alysha. I am military, so the fact that they open at 0530 is a plus and they are affiliated with childcare aware for subsidy. The curriculum is age appropriate and the children have a great time learning. My daughter participates in their phonics program which is heaven sent (Mrs. Mel). I would recommend this center to any and everybody who asks me about child care.

My eldest son is in preschool and so far all of his teachers from the toddler room to present have been amazing. Helping him through transitions and giving feedback to challenges he is facing and ideas to what we can do as his family to help. At first I thought toddler conferences were ludicrous, but after attending his first one I was shocked at all of the skills that were evaluated and all of the fascinating things my kid could do. My youngest started in the infant room and his teachers are all wonderful. I have every confidence he receives the care he needs every day. They truly treat all babies like their own. Any issues with billing have been addressed promptly and I truly feel like everyone that works there values the kids and understand the impact of their role in the center. I recommend this KinderCare to anyone looking for good childcare and early child education.

My child loves going to "school" everyday. They are attentive and genuinely care about the children in their care. I'm very grateful for the educational classes that are offered as I feel it will help when kindergarten starts. My child has only been going for four months at this point and can write his name, and is close to reading. They also have music and cooking classes, those are my child's favorite over the STEM and phonics eventhough he likes those too. It's great to have a place that you feel secure in leaving your young child at all day while at work. The staff at this location is great! Thank you kindercare!

They have done such an amazing job. My daughter has grown so much and has gone from only child syndrome stick with an adult kid to out going happy girl. She's one of the smartest kids in her class and she can speak Spanish at 4 and a half years old!Kindercare offers extra classes to get your kids into science, math, reading and writing, etc. My daughter loves the STEM program, she comes home and glows when telling us about her most recent experiment. She also enjoys phonics. The teachers really lnow how to help your child grow. I am so thankful for them, and all they have done for my girl. I couldn't ask for a better place for my girl to attend.Thank you all at lindercare for all you do.

I have an autistic daughter that was kicked out of another daycare due to them not being able to deal with her. The staff at Kindercare welcomed us with warmth and care. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to care for our situation. Special thanks to Jessica and Ms. Nicole!
