Has a lot of good stuff with ok prices, but the guy behind the counter is CVA biased. If you mention anything other than CVA, you get the "I'm sorry" reply, as if all other brands are terrible. I chose immediately not to buy anything in the store because he is opinionated. Ford/Chevy, Springfield/Mossberg, Traditions/CVA...buy what you like and what you're happy with. Customer service should be a top priority for a small business, regardless of the muzzleloader they choose to shoot.

The family that owns and runs the shop is friendly and informative. If you're interested in black powder shooting or muzzle-loaded firearms, this is where I'll go and recommend 1st.

The guy who helped me didn't have much personality, no crime in that, I tried talking him up but he was PO'd that the phone kept ringing. Then over charged me $3.00 on the bullets, $29.95 instead of the $26.95. I went there with the goal of supporting a long term local business and spend $100. My total came to $88.70 (should have been 85.70) before tax and $97.57 after (should have rang up $94.27). Goal was met but it makes it difficult for me to want to return. However, they did have all but one thing I was looking for.

Great guy, let my friend and I get some hands on looks at some reproduction muzzleloading revolvers. Prices are not as good there as online sources but when time sensitivity is crucial to make some weekend plans work going here is a good move. A couple of really cool pieces are living there and deserve a home!

It is nice to be able to talk to someone who actually knows about muzzleloaders. Purchesed my CVA Optima here, and they have a ton of supplies for traditional muzzleloaders and a good selection of stuff for inlines as well. Great store.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I went in there and got a new muzzleloader and the gal there helped get everything that I need. We were recommended by a close family friend and I would recommend everyone.

The lady that helped us the other evening was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to point out a video about the particular gun we purchased, and helped us get everything set up with all of our supplies. I would recommend them to anyone.

Stopped in for some Goex black powder, no one else has any locally in stock. Had a nice discussion with the lady working, and felt very comfortable as a new black powder enthusiast! Picked up a pound of powder and a raccoon tail for the kids. Definitely stop in, it's an awesome, intriguing little shop! I will be shopping there often in the future!
