Multicare and this state are one big cruel joke.

Honestly, an atrocious healthcare company that is unreasonable and inflexible when it comes to new patients. This review applies to ALL MultiCare Clinics. I relocated to WA in April 2022. Called and couldn't find a new physician except one who had an opening in September 2022. Months later, they called me about a cancellation and setup an appointment for August 2022. Granted I had an urgent conflict with work, I couldn't accept the appointment and their next one available was February 2023. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD!!! I have prescriptions that need to be filled!!! For a healthcare company who seems to monopolize all of western WA, they are ridiculously unaccommodating to any new patients whatsoever. Don't waste your time! Go to Yelm Family Medicine or another practice who WILL have openings far sooner than this joke of a company.

I just found out that in order to make an appointment I had to change my PCP with my insurance PRIOR to deciding if I even wanted her as my DOC...then her earliest new patient appointment wasn't until 4 months out! Is that really considered as "available for new patients" ??!! I was hot as fish grease after spending almost 2 hours trying to make an appointment this is what I got?Rachel, the manager I demanded to speak with, calmed me down and after a long discussion she made me an appointment not at the Puyallup clinic (4 months my A**) for a few days later with someone comparable at the Fredrickson (gag) Multi Care. Thank you Rachel! I still HATE MC because they really have poor health care compared to what I'm used to, UW/Harborview, but I lost my insurance so here I am...hoping they (MC) doesn't kill me through their inept and uncaring so called health care...

My primary care doc sent a referral over. I called and was told they would review my case and call me with an appointment in about two weeks. I called 2 weeks later and was given the same response. So I waited. After 3 months my referral expired and I never heard a thing from this office. My doc put in a new referral. Guess what they said? We need a couple weeks to review your case and we will call you with an appointment. I called back every two weeks for the next 2 months. Kept getting the same answer. Finally on the last phone call I was told oh the doc here can’t take your case so we sent the referral back to your primary doctor. So 5 months after needing to see a doc I still haven’t because either the do it or or the staff is incompetent and doesn’t know how to read or make phone calls. Also the neurologist here seems to not be able to see patients with neurology issues. Please don’t waste your time here.

Cannot recommend Dr Mebust enough. I live in Olympia and am willing to drive all the way up just to see her. She's respectful, and super willing to answer literally any questions. She also doesn't talk down to you, at all, and gives you credit as an individual with a brain. Using MyChart to get ahold of her is super easy and fast, and her office staff is beyond efficient. I have a feeling I'll be seeing her for a long time.

We made an appointment for my wife's early on-set Alzheimer's in October, 2019 to see a Neurologist in April 2020. I was advised today that her appointment has now been extended to 7/31/2020. MultiCare's need to add Neurologists to their staff is imperative and immediate!

Trying to write this again, as the first did not go through. Patients and guest in the waiting room were not wearing masks. Asked I could have a clean pen to sign in. Told just use sanitizer after using the pen all other patients used to check in.

I’m a little disappointed. They ask me to check in 30 minutes before my appointment which was at 11am. I was then seen 25 minutes after my initial check in. After a few questions with the nurse, she had me wait another 10 minutes for a room to open. I was then brought into another room to only be waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. Nobody checked in or gave me any updates. I finally asked the nurse and she let me know, “ your next, he’ll be right with you. “

Dr Corliss, should not be seeing younger patients that have questions. Stick to patients who sit, listen and leave. Stop telling your patients Can't make all Americans happy.
