Love and Laughter Learning Center offers care for children from 1 month to 12 years old. For children below kindergarten grade, the center provides a developmentally appropriate academic curriculum to help them grow intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually. The center is affiliated with Clover Park Technical College and also offers a unique and dynamic before and after school program for kindergarten through 6th grade. Parents have expressed their immense love and appreciation for the learning center. One parent's daughter attended the center on Shaw Road for over a year and loved it, particularly her teachers Carly and Blythe, who were always welcoming, kind, and had great energy. The parent felt at peace leaving their child in their care and saw their child grow socially and mentally. Another parent's son started at the center when he turned 1 and has been there for 2 years. The parent cannot express enough love and appreciation for the amazing and loving teachers, the awesome curriculum, and the kind and welcoming office staff, especially Kelci, who has been extremely helpful. The parent is saddened to have to leave the center due to a move but will keep in touch with the amazing people there. A parent of a 2-year-old son who has been attending the center for 8 months cannot recommend it more highly. The staff is amazing, and they resolve any issues quickly. The parent receives weekly report cards, and the teachers are attentive and caring. One parent, whose son is neurodivergent and requires extra attention and patience, has experienced the amazing bonds, patience, love, and kindness of the teachers, who have gone above and beyond for both the child and the parent. The parent considers the teachers their "daycare mommies" and is heartbroken to have to switch centers due to a move. Overall, the Love and Laughter Learning Center is highly praised for its caring, attentive, and engaging staff, its developmentally appropriate curriculum, and its welcoming and secure environment.
I got to tour the learning center and was very impressed how the owner Tom was so widely loved by all the kids he came into contact with. The classrooms were very clean and well organized. Staff were engaged with the students. Might be an older building but you could feel the love in this school..
