Reading about buying a home for the first time is very stressful, but after connecting with Kayla and Heather at John L. Scott, they made the whole process a cake walk. They were able to explain and answer any questions I had and help find me exactly the kind of house I was looking for. They even negotiated and got the seller to pay my closing cost! I chose John L Scott South Hill to pursue my career because of the friendly and knowledgeable people who already work there. Jim the managing broker is accessible and willing to jump in and help at a moments notice. Carol the office manager is welcoming and always around to support the other brokers in our office. I'm happy with my choice and you will be too.

We recently sold our family's farm in Pierce County. Christine Baumann represented the seemingly elderly buyers. Having bought & sold many properties over five decades, I can say because of her it made the transaction the most miserable one we have ever endured. Largely because of her apparent lack of knowledge regarding County rules and for whatever other reasons, an enormous amount of distrust between the parties was created. It was obnoxious trying to deal with her even through our realtor and we found her exceedingly unreasonable and distrustful. I would never retain her! We had to talk to her broker several times to resolve difficulties she caused.

With all that comes with selling and/or buying a home, sometimes, things can get quite stressful. When we walked into John L. Scott in South Hill, it was most certainly NOT stressful. In fact, exactly the opposite. It was nice to visit an office and talk to those employed and actually enjoy the interaction. Caring, friendly, knowledgeable. Three words that sum the South Hill office up perfectly. 5 stars.

I had a very pleasant experience with John L Scott out in South Hill. Me and my 2 youngest children were treated very well. And, the entire time, I felt truly cared for. Very gracious and helpful employees. They even went as far as to give helium-filled balloons to my kids. Very friendly.

The South Hill office of John L. Scott is absolutely awesome. I don't often write reviews. But, I felt compelled. From the time I walked in with My Wife, we were immediately greeted by a VERY friendly gal named Carol.Note: If you're ever having a bad day...Just go see Carol. It's impossible to not light up around her. LoL.The office is very clean, neat, and EVERYONE I encountered was high-spirited, easily approachable, and not one person even batted an eye to answer my million or so questions.Two BIG THINGS that REALLY stood out:1) NO PRESSURE. Unlike other companies I visited, there was no pressure. It was like being greeted by family (the family that you ACTUALLY like...lol). A fun, yet warm and calming ambience radiates from the office itself and those that work inside.2) (Maybe not a huge deal to most...) A clean bathroom! LoL. My Little Girl had to potty. Not only were they accommodating, the bathroom was pristine. LoL.Seriously though, FIVE stars!

JLS South Hill office...5 stars for sure! Everyone is so friendly and full of personality. I wouldn't have thought a good time could be had at a Real Estate office. I was wrong. ; )
