I read the reviews and it sounds like Im not the only person that this happened to but I walked into H&M and all of a sudden I was greeted by their store manager (or so she said) who said they were closing right now which was 30 minutes earlier than they are supposed to. I told her I have a quick return and I could see that they still had a check out stand open with a customer there. I asked politely if she would let me just return this one item really quickly because I drove here specifically to do that but she refused !! I drove all the way to the mall specifically to return this item and I checked their store hours ahead of time to make sure they were open but apparently they close whenever they want to. Really poor customer service and if this lady is really the store manager then that is so sad for them because she is a bully.

Store associates aren’t aware of the company’s own policies. They were insistent that online returns can only be made within 30 days from purchase. The website clearly states it’s 30 days from delivery date. I had to get in line twice, speak with multiple associates, pull up the policy on their website and read it to them before they believed me and allowed me to make a valid return.

Service in here was terrible. I walked through the door and the first thing the employee said to me (more than 30 minutes before closing) is “We’re gonna close early.” Not even a hi or anything. I drove all the way to the mall just to come to this store and it was super rude. Like she was basically telling me to leave. I asked what time and she said 8:30. It was 8:29… seriously?? Will not be back to this location ever. I’m assuming this was some kind of a manager. She had dark hair and was wearing a Harlem jersey I think. Train your staff better, this was awful.
