“I sponsored a hog at the Northwest Junior Livestock show and Butcher Boys did the cutting and wrapping. First time visiting their South Hill butcher shop. Very nice butcher shop, clean, lots of variety, great pricing and very nice people. I highly recommend this butcher shop.”
“Friendly and great service. Has a gas station. Has other stores like mud Bay for pets and it has a Subway place it is got all kinds of other stores in the parking lot area. RV friendly parking while you shop. However pharmacy customer service is very overwhelmed and will show with body language and demonstrating frustration. They will take walk ins but appointments help much better so they said. Upon having an appointment you still face the same overwhelmed experience demonstrating there customerservices they deliver that need very much attention in training. Several attempts and didn't change. First time experience was great contacting the last three different times. I opted to go to another safeway in bonnylake WA where it was a refreshing experience and it showed proffecianalisim and ethics. Hope they reflect from this.”

“It Was getting late and I was getting hungry so I went to the Valley Market . I bought a couple of pop's and a couple of sandwiches. The pop's were a great price and the sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. I Just moved in to the neighborhood and got a very friendly WELCOME last night by the cashier. “This is a great little neighborhood grocery store. The people are always welcoming and polite and the store has a little bit of everything (except fresh meat and produce). They are open relatively early and close relatively late, they are in a great location too. If I had to say something negative the only thing I can think of is that because it's a little food mart the prices are a bit higher than major grocers but it's quick and convenient so I don't mind paying a little extra, especially to support local small businesses”

“I had an awful experience with my delivery order. I got sent the wrong order I talked to customer service on the app. They were no help at all. I called the store and Stevie answered I was quite irritated at this point but she totally turned everything around. She said she would repick my order and get it out for delivery. “Great little neighborhood store. Nestled on the edges of downtown Puyallup. Great little store with just about everything you can imagine from Alcohol, candy, breakfast foods, oil, chips and ice cream. They also serve "hot ready to eat" foods that are prepared daily, sometime multiple times a day, to stave off those hunger pangs. Or when you just want to nosh on a little bite.”
“The lady at the bakery in this Albertsons did an AMAZING job on my son’s birthday cake. When every where else was booked, she got it done for me. She had great customer service skills, and I didn’t have a picture for the cake so I kind of described what I wanted the cake decorated like. She went above and beyond what I thought it would look like. Thank you so so much.”
“I had a very satisfactory experience while dealing with your employee named Susan. She was such a friendly face who after noticing that I was having trouble finding the specific item that I was looking for came right up to me greeting me with a smile and asking if I required any assistance from her . I did in fact and asked if she knew if there might be anymore of the item I was looking for in stock and she right away quickly ran to the back room and when she returned was carrying all 4 of what I was looking for .
This was SUCH a difference from my experience that I had just had when I first tried my luck shopping at the new Shaw road Safeway . That employee was rude and completely unwilling to go out of this way in anyway to try and help me to see if there was anymore of what I was looking for . He lied saying if it wasn’t on the shelf that they didn’t have it even though he was clearly restocking that entire section from the looks of the cart he was working on so there very well could have bee he was just unwilling to look for me . Then when I had to ask him if he could find out and look for me he straight told me no and that he was too busy . Unbelievable .
Susan really turned around what was forming as my opinion of Safeway and their customer service . Thank you for showing me that there are still good customer service employees out there (: you made my day that day !”
“It’s rather hard to beat this location. It’s well-positioned and relatively easy to get to from any direction. Center meridians, prevent mid block turn from the highway, but there’s a light at and a light before the end of the block that both can be used to get into the parking lot. The price is always the cheapest on Canyon Rd this far south, and it’s a Safeway, so you can use your fuel points to make it even cheaper. Sometimes there’s a bit of a weight, but I’ve never waited more than five minutes for a stall.”
“Nicest people ever!!! My car shut off on me this morning and it was so embarrassing and I was by myself lol I can usually get it atleast started enough to just go back home but it didnt work this time and two gentlemen who work here saw me struggling and came to my rescue! Lol they didnt have to but they used some tools on the connection part of my battery and i kept trying my car until it started! I always have a pleasant experience here and prices are always great but they really went above and beyond to help me and I really appreciated that, thank you so much again!!!”
“I've had a working partnership with this Safeway for two Christmas seasons now and most of the staff members are very friendly. It's been positive as I would see them walking to go outside on their breaks, cart retrievals, or managing customer orders.Pricing seems to be getting better here like it was before. Currently, I'm not using the app, but being a Safeway club member still has its benefits. Instead of being only .50 cents to $1.00 off when things go on sale, I've seen that the sale prices have increased on certain products.One of the best findings here in terms of accessible essential resources for females is the sale pricing on the period hygiene products of the Signature Brand, which is Safeway's generic brand name. For less than $7, I was able to find a package of feminine pads and that's including taxes.Their deli section has improved also! Their food has been mostly fresh and there's more offers on their chicken. They have a "Cheep Cheep Chicken" deal on Mondays. And on Wednesdays, there's a $6 sushi offer on at least a few types of their sushi packages. I haven't tried out their sandwiches recently, but noticed an improvement in this section about a year ago. There were issues in terms of overcharging and cleanliness. But things look a lot better and fresher.”

Most Safeway Deli’s especially in spanaway will do there best to ignore you and if you ask for help they have a bad attitude or say there oven is always broken…
Anyway I’ll be coming to this Safeway from now on instead of Spanaway. Thanks again Angela. That positive attitude makes a difference.”

“I've been coming here for YEARS and I have to say the new owners have really improved this place. It used to be staffed by crazies but now everyone that works here is kind, courteous and respectful. The pizza is still delicious, just tried the white sauce today and it was pretty dang good. Keep up the good work guys! I shop here way more than I used to, thanks for cleaning up this corner. Now if only Philip's Mark across the street would clean up their place too. Thank you!”
“Though sometimes the prices are higher, they generally have a good selection of products. The store hours are short though, & you can feel the rush near the end. I can't single them out as the only store, but more often than not; you have to check the expiration dates due to poor rotation of stock.
You also have a larger chance that the frozen products have been left out, on the floor for a couple hours.
I stopped buying some things here, because of those two issues. The produce is good quality & the staff is pretty decent. The meat department is right too. Still, I have a hard time with some cuts.”
