Charlie, one of the stylists, always cut s(trims) my hair. She is AMAZING!! I go to Great Clips in Puyallup, on River Road. I request her EVERY TIME that I get my hair cut. I won't go anywhere else! Way to go CHARLIE!! Don't ever quit on me, lol! Thanks again!

My experience was beyond my expectations. I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year and desperately needed one. I had had a bad experience at a great clips before so was hesitant. My bad experience was the location on meridian by Jamba juice and dollar tree. This experience at the location by fred meyer on river road was a completely better experience and everyone should go here. I went in towards closing time (6:45) and worried they wouldn't have time to cut my hair since it was so long despite checking in online. They greeted me with a smile and were able to take me back 25 minutes earlier than my expected time! My stylist (Alex) was super kind and asked questions about what I wanted and made sure she repeated back what I wanted to ensure she didn't cut too much off or give the wrong style. She was conversational but not obnoxiously so and didn't overshare, just listened when I talked and shared her own relatable stories in response to mine. I will be returning for future cuts.
Hair type: My hair hit middle of my back when I went in, I have thick, slightly wavy hair. No extra charge for long hair, just $25 , $12 extra for shampoo
Stylist: Alex was my stylist and she did an AMAZING job. She was so kind and took her time despite me being in the last hour. She was friendly and conversational but didnt overshare or ask a bunch of questions. She asks multiple times what I wanted and made sure I was happy with the length before I left. I highly recommend this stylist.

The Downtown Puyallup location is THE BEST! Ann is an exceptionally talented stylist. Every three weeks I see her and walk out completely thrilled with her work. The Manager is amazing and really sets the salons’ standard of excellence. I checked in online recently anticipating my stylist being there as per her usual schedule. The Manager saw my name and called me immediately to let me know my stylists schedule had changed, that she wasn’t there, and informed me when she would be available. WOW! It doesn’t get better! AAAAA+++++

Let’s just say you get what you pay for. I told her it looks off, but she said it looks good. The ladies were all very nice there though. Went home and fixed my own hair.

Came in for a 1 to 2 fade on the back and side with a couple inches on top. The stylist absolutely butchered my haircut. Got home and saw there were long patches of hair where she was supposed to fade and had to get my trimmers out and take care of myself. Stylist seemed like she was in a hurry to get me out and had poor attention to detail, and very obviously did not know how to do a fade. Last time coming here and I’ve been coming in for over a year since moving to Fife.

Due to the lack of attention to detail and having multiple times were I had to come home and straighten up uneven sideburns and the last two times I went I lucked out and got someone who only uses electric trimmers instead of scissors to trim and blend the top with the sides apparently she is in a hurry...I'm done coming here and going to find a better place to spend my money at.

I went into this store for a trim. I stated this very clearly. I.even told them that I'm in menopause and my hair doesn't grow very fast anymore. She seemed to understand but then cut so much off of my hair. When I said something, she tried to gaslight me by saying she barely cut anything. I could still see the hair on the floor. Please either ask for a specific amount that you want cut, or if you're trying to keep long hair don't go here. I thought I'd be safe with her because she had really long hair. I would include her name but, she never told me her name I probably should have considered that a red flag. Now I'm sad.

The guy that cut my hair talked with me and told me about his gay mechanic boyfriend (which I didn't want to hear) and went on about talking about it while not paying attention to my haircut and just chopping it all up and by the time he was done, my hair looked like salad in a bowl! Uneven cuts are something I can't afford as a in my business. I had to wait for it to grow out long before getting another cut. Worst cut ever!Service: Haircut
