For trying to establish an account. And for some reason my order was canceled. The first costumer service lady was helpful. Then I called to get an updated on the delivery date and I believe they work from home because you can hear all the background noises and they put you on hold to deal with what ever is going on their end. So no help there. I felt they didn’t care to help at all she told me their office is close but it shows that they close at 5. I called at 3. Then I called again maybe I could get better help. Nope she wasn’t either. I told her I was looking forward to have them as my provider for my propane but with all of these I didn’t think so. She just said ok thank you have a good day. But in a cocky tone. Bad customer service.

Does not fill propane tanks on site. I was told that the location in Auburn is the inly one in New he area that fills propane tanks. Staff said that this location only fills their trucks for propane delivery. Wish I wouldn’t have wasted the trip.

Honestly their wait time to get someone on the phone may be 5 minutes which most people are upset with but the customer service was on point and very helpful with a gas leak and empty tank issue.

I have to give a HUGE shoutout to the crew and personnel of Puyallup Ferrell gas.I recently was "duped" by a postcard offer from Amerigas to change service. They were offering an incredible deal at $2.42 a gallon. Our tank was low so I figured if I was going to make a switch, now was the time. I also "assumed" one propane company was the same as any other. So I agreed to the deal over the phone (thankfully never signed a customer agreement) on January 23rd. I was told a truck would be out to move the old tank and drop their tank and fill it on January 27th. Great right?I then called trusty Ferrellgas who'd we'd been with for 8-9 years and told them to close our account. They did warn me about Amerigas, but I figured any competitor would do that. So they setup an order to have our tank picked up.So January 27th comes and goes and no Amerigas truck. No follow up at all. I call them only to find out there was no technician available for that date? Why would they schedule it then? So they reschedule us out to February 3rd. Keep in mind our tank is showing empty. This is where Ferrellgas really stepped up. I called them on the 27th and explained Amerigas was a no show and would it be possible for them to come deliver just a little propane to tide us over since their tank was still here. Unfortunately they could only deliver a 200 gallon minimum, so I told them to hold off.Jennifer who I spoke to, she was smart. She said I'm going to reopen your account and cancel the tank pickup just in case they pull another no show. I think she'd seen this before ; )Sure enough, February 3rd comes and this time I call first thing in the morning. Big surprise, same "no technician" available routine. I closed the account on the spot.A quick check on Google and the reviews for Amerigas were horrible. Many customers waiting and waiting for gas with no service. I really had egg on my face with this decision.Thankfully since Jennifer was on the ball, I called up and was able to get a delivery within a few days with no emergency charge. Today is February 7th and I was so happy to see the truck pull up. I ran out to tell both guys how thankful I was for them showing up so soon. Thank goodness, we have hot water and heat again!I learned my lesson. Not all companies are the same. Don't fall for too good to be true offers. Low priced propane does you no good if you can't get it delivered ; )Thanks everyone at Ferrellgas in Puyallup!

I usually dread calling places anymore, because it tends to be a hassle. Not the case with these people. I have been using this company for the best part of a decade, from 2 completely different locations, and have nothing but good things to say. The office people have always been very polite and understanding, and the field workers are quick and quiet. Which I'm tremendously thankful for.I will, and do, recommend them for anyone who needs a propane delivery service.

Called twice about gas leak detection and each time I went through the menu I would get a different person that gave me a different number only to lead me back to a dead end. I am not sure our safety is in their best interest if someone has a possible gas leak and can't get one person out to their house to have it checked. What is the purpose of having gas leak emergency on your menu if you can't get through to the right personnel? I can't even give this company a zero star rating because we received no help or service and it won't let me post. Terrible.
