Love this salon! Kelly is my stylist, who is fabulous, but Kylie and Kristen are amazing and so much fun to be around. They know their products if you are an Aveda fan! Would recommend Downtown Designs to anyone who asks!

I see hairstylist, Kylie Gagnon she has been my haircutter stylist for 25 or more years. She’s wonderful. I wouldn’t let anybody else touch my hair at all. If I can’t find her on a good day I’ll wait she’s wonderful. Specially, with color.

Incredible!! The ladies here are absolutely amazing. My 15 year old son wanted a perm. He was so nervous and we searched for months for THE salon. It turned out exactly how he wanted and his confidence is everything now. Who would’ve thought he’d have so much fun at a hair apt. He loved them! Thank you, thank you and we’ll never go anywhere else.

This is a great salon with wonderful stylists ! I have been going to Kylie since 2009 and she always does a wonderful job ! Also I was present for one day that Keri T came into the salon. What she wrote happened with the first stylist is completely untrue . Keri wanted platinum hair from a mousy brown/ blonde which takes awhile. The stylist worked on her hair nearly 6 hours and got it as light as she could in one session . Keri did not pay any money or tip the stylist. She was sticky sweet and then lied to Kelly the next day about the whole thing including lying and saying she tipped the stylist. Shame on Keri T.

Kelly did the bridal party's hair for my sister's wedding and we were all so happy with her work! She was quick but also thorough and friendly.I went to her for a haircut and was also very pleased! My hair is wavy and quirky and she took the time to listen to me and make sure I was happy with the cut and style. She also complimented my DIY hair color instead of trying to shame me into using a professional like some other stylists do. There was no pressure to buy products which I love.The price was shockingly low compared to other salons nearby and I would be willing to pay more for the amazing service I received. I will definitely come back to Kelly for my next cut!(Pic with brown hair was wedding hair and colorful was cut and styled)

Got a new haircut from Kristen. She did an awesome job. I went from long hair to shoulder brushing and added bangs and some layers. She really listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted.

This place is clean and the people are friendly... the girl that cut my hair tho didn't seem to help me with figuring out what might look good or any type of personal touch... she did just a very basic cut that really didn't turn out that great.... but besides that the environment is very happy and comfterable.

I'd been a frequent customer here last couple of years, had many facials from Jenny, which were thorough, professional and enjoyable - and a few haircuts from Ashley that were good the first time, then declining after that, ending with a terrible bang trim right before Christmas that both she and Kelly, the owner refused to fix. Gene Juarez rescued me - within a few hours for free! When I came in to purchase some skincare products a few months ago, I mentioned to Ashley how disappointed I was in my services. I figured she should know. She told me that maybe I should start smoking weed (!) I left. I stopped in yesterday to get a product, hoping she wouldn't be there and I could just pop in and out for my Tulasara oil, but she was there. She glared at me during my transaction and /after/ I paid, she opened the door, told me I wasn't welcome there again and shouted that if I stepped foot on the premises she would call the police. Not great service... Aveda would NOT be proud of this salon. Sad that its the only Aveda salon downtown Puyallup. That WILL change, I promise.

This adorable salon is go to destination for your hair needs. The team is friendly and always makes me feel like a part of the family. The stylists have been there for years and offer expert skills and product knowledge. Their product assortment is also great and they are always fully stocked!
