Took our Tahoe in for a recall on the passenger airbag. Appointment was at 10:30, we walked in to drop it off at 10:00 and no one greeted us because they were all on their phones. The only gal that was actually working greeted us and asked if someone could help us, nothing but silence. Then a gal didn’t say hello just snapped at me “phone number “, then “keys”. Walked past us went outside did whatever she did and came back and said “it will be done in the afternoon”. No estimated time, no goodbye- nothing.We called around 3:30 and they said it wouldn’t be done till 5:00. We walk in at 4:45 and still all in their phones, the same gal said “ he’s got about 5 minutes “ turns around and walked out of the room. Five minutes later our car comes out she handed me a piece of paper and the keys and said “have a nice day”. The WORST customer service EVER-We won’t be back.

We had a fantastic experience with John Valentine. We were looking at two different vehicles, and John was very knowledgeable with them both! We spent the whole day with John, doing some test drives, and the entire time John was very thoughtful and genuine. After we got set with both the cars, John made sure I got the myGMC app downloaded, got my OnStar connected, and got my phone connected to the car! He made sure I was set up from the very beginning. Even after we left, John made sure the items I left behind (my GoodToGo pass and sunglasses) were out of the trade in and available for me to pick up! I would definitely like to work with John again when we purchase our next vehicle.

Been going here for years. Have bought 3 vehicles from here for the last 7 years and always had a wonderful experience until yesterday 5/18/24.Shawn, our salesman was awesome. Young, motivated, and eager to be successful. However the sales manager needs a check in life. As a salesman myself, and good one to boot, this manager is going to drive good employees out. That is relevant as I see a lot of new faces and many don’t look as happy as they used to. The sales manager needs a 101 coarse on effective approach of sales and teamwork. Trying to low ball trade values and not budging on price for a new car is not going to engage potential customers to buy. Lack of incentives if you will. Let alone, I know how metrics work and how the game is played. Entrepreneurial expertise is not entirely driven on metrics and that is all the manager sees and how he approaches his team. Micro managing. I was there for 5 hours and all I saw was poor management. It wasn’t until I had to get fairly assertive in my approach that he finally began to incentivize the deal. It was a literal waste of time of unnecessary bantering. I feel sorry for our awesome salesman Shawn. Not sure if I’ll go back and purchase another vehicle from here. It’s truly sad to see such an awesome dealership that has always had a proper approach to car buying becoming crippled by poor management. Sorry to say, but it’s not good. I am just glad something was eventually worked out so my lady could get a much deserved new car. I will note that if I were a long time employee there and that kind of management took over, I would be making a swift exit myself.

I took my 2023 GMC Sierra in for back seat rattles and a rear suspension clunk. After test driving the truck, the technician stated that the clunk was normal. I declined to accept that answer and made them look further into the issue. After a long 2-1/2 weeks they finally took care of the issues but when I got the truck back it was filthy and they couldn't even give the truck a courtesy wash? On top of that, my oil needed to be changed and they couldn't even do that while it was there for service. I'm highly disappointed in their service. Aside from the free oil changes the dealership offers, I won't be taking my truck there for service again. And also prior to this visit, my fiance went to their Service Dept to purchase an extra key fob and witnessed a couple of technicians talking trash about their customers...come on, how about some professionalism. Be better Harnish!

Pre-ordered a special order 2024 Blazer and placed a deposit in early September 2023.Was told by the salesperson that it would take 6-8 months for delivery.I was told last week that the order was not on the production list at the factory, there was no record of it having ever been on the production schedule and the order was most likely never placed by Gilchrist.Existing sales staff have made zero effort to keep us informed since receiving our deposit and offered no assistance in placing and expediting our order.
