I have been doing business with them for years and each and every time they have been wonderful. Since my health has declined to where I can hardly walk. As soon as I enter the store someone is rushing to get me a chair and make me as comfortable as possible while business is taken care of. Each and every person that works there that I've interacted with in any way have been so helpful, willing to answer however many questions or help me retain my pawned items as due dates approach or get the best deal possible when I make a purchase. I absolutely love the people, store, and entire experience each and every time I stop in!

I came in this location on the 26 of May.I ended up buying a Xbox Series S and a PC(?).That purchase as of now is still a good purchase.The date of this review is the 27th a day after. The day of the 26th we ended up buying a HDD 2tb for the Xbox.Same store time Etc. I found out today or this morning around 8 that it didn't work.I didn't immediately try it out right away because I thought that we would have time to check it out. Anyways I figured I will call them and see if they can help me.I ended up talking to a Employee named Pam. Pam looks up my account and says there is nothing she can do since I did not purchase a insurance plan so to speak.I apparently did on the Xbox and computer but not that...hm...I mean one day and they couldn't help me are you that messed up of a business that you can't even honor a few days guarantee at least.When I say I honor I mean not buying a plan but still have a grace period.No one mentioned any of that and maybe that is my fault for being used to or apparently entitled to have a honorable luxury like 99 percent of other companies.So my grievance is all that a bag of chips.(Chips sold separately) Apologies for offending anyone with a labeled wrong pronoun.Thanks

This used to be my go to pawn shop for loans and buying stuff even since they opened really liked the employees especially the manager that is always working when I come in, but my last time there I was "helped" by someone who did everything they could to try and get my chain to show up as fake, even after it passing the scrape test and first 4 attempts at dripping acid onto that filed spot the fifth time apparently it failed due to leaving a color on a piece of paper she was using to wipe it off each time she added more of the acid on it, never have I seen anyone do that during a file test. Funny how the next 2 places I took it into including a jewelry store that had the special electric tester said it was real. The other being the same store just in a different city. Smh

The worst customer service experience of my life dealing with Cash America in South Hill location. It was an employee and a manager. In my opinion, very judgemental like they never been down on their luck. To the one employee i've mentioned above who may read this; YES, RED RANDLE, R.R IS my initial! And this will be the last time I'm dealing with Cash America!

I came in with brand new tools brand new circular saw I used for basic 2x4 framing the dude that works there says this saw doesn’t have enough power and says he owns a construction company/fencing I start to laugh and asked him if that’s the case why is he working at a pawn shop he replies with “for fun” then tells me I’ll give you a business card and I looked at the name and said it’s not yours he responds with it’s his grandpas so yet he doesn’t have the experience nor was a fit person to even work construction and just in general very bad pawn shop the people here act like know everything about what you’re bringing although I understand it’s. A pawn shop and I don’t expect a crazy value but the fact that a pawn shop can have that much of an ignorant person working right by the door is just comedy. Dudes never worked a construction job in his life you could tell by the way he held the saw and gave it a spin and said it’s not enough power

Well hours say 1900 hours. Showed up at 1505 hours. Doors locked and they refused to let customers in. Sorry never stopping here it any other Cash America shop. They always like to play games with people. Trust me take your business elsewhere.

I brought in a custom rifle and could not get any money I payed 1,250 plus tax the rebuild was 975.00 I started in guns in 65 nobody nows anything about guns in cash America at all and 32 yrs in sales myself .
