I took my car to them for an estimate on work to be done. They told me that I needed a water pump, my brakes in the back were metal on metal and my serpentine belts needed to be replaced. I also needed a radiator which I was aware of. I took the car to three other repair shops. After I received these estimates back from the other repair shops, here is what they found. I only needed a radiator. I asked them about the other issues that Bucky's mentioned and they all said the brakes in the back had plenty of pad left, nowhere near metal to metal as Bucky's quoted. My serpentine belts looked really good. My water pump had no leaks or issues they could find. I feel like this location was very deceptive and very dishonest. I would not recommend!

Part of my exhaust system was stolen while I was shopping in Spanaway. An emergency fix made it possible for me to get to Bucky's Puyallup/South Hill. They were very courteous and were able to get my car back on the road after a short wait. My car is old and in need of retirement, but they were willing to do the work to make the exhaust system safe to use instead of just telling me how bad everything is and trying to charge for a bunch of things that will have to last a while longer. I would definitely recommend them based on how they treated me and my car at this visit.

This shop is great! My daughters car had a few issues and Brian and his crew did an amazing job. When searching for the oil leak they actually wanted to test it with a dye to make sure they knew where the leak was coming from instead of selling me a bunch of repairs that we didn't need. Everyone was friendly and very clear on what was being done to the car. They were also clear on the cost and the timeline to repair it. I would not hesitate to go back if our cars needed repair. Great Job Thank you so much!

Took my van in to see why my dash looked like a Christmas tree. Griffin is a Rockstar! He explained things so that I could understand but not in a way that was condescending. Very professional and well spoken!

They put in my brakes at half the cost and only took about one hour. There's no appointment needed. Gentleman at the front desk was nice and good spirited.

Les (mechanic) was amazing... caught a mistake by previous mechanic leaving plug out ( different company)... saving a potential transmission blow-up, that had just been replaced! Griff the service writer is an amazing communicator, and did an amazing job as well!

Do not take your vehicle to these crooks! Absolutely garbage customer service, rude, unwilling to fix mistakes, questionable employees, and a manager who thinks he knows what he is doing! I wouldn't take a 10 speed to this shop!

Came in for an oil change, told me my serpentine belt needed replacing so they did that. Truck was screeching the next day so i brought it in, turns out the tension Rod needed replacing too… they said they knew it was a problem but didn’t think to tell me so i paid double labor costs to replace that too… now my serpentine belt needs replacing again. I don’t think they know what they are doing honestly… but they’ve got great prices!

SEEK REVIEWS WITH SPECIFIC WORK DONE TO VEHICLE TO FACT CHECK. So many suspicious compliments of "cheap" prices and "cusomer sevices". None are specific to work performed.
My Experience:
- Defective mechanic work
- Fraud for scams, charging for unneeded parts of the vehicle or claiming unneeded further repairs
Installed cheap material to replace catalytic converter for 2k that melted away causing me to come back. Fraudulent diagnosis for almost 4k of time and materials my car did not need, including 3 new converters. Went there several times, 1st time we paid 300 for a diagnostic test and came back with all these reports. Second time, car wouldn't start and they replaced the battery for 400 - it was a used battery and they installef it incorrectly, the car died half way home smh. Was told I MUST pay for the full 4k service and could not pay in section of repair. They wanted me to get on their payment plan that has very high interest rates. That was a hell no. Took the car to 2 other shops for a 2nd opinion- it was the one catalytic converter that Buckys installed that was causing all the issues. Its been replaced.And it's driving smoothly. I was scammed.
