You can get tech, but most of the employees I've talked to are young, which a person may find useful in a tech store if they weren't awkward around humans.

Ordered online long time best buy customer
Just bought another computer here went to pick up computer help at checkout was no help and didn't care didn't have glasses so couldn't verify it and wouldn't double check

I like my Puyallup store. There guest service is amazing. We have gotten our refrigerator and T.Vs in the past. I think there prices are not to bad on there sales.

I originally had an audio system placed in my 2017 Malibu at the Tacoma location 3 years ago - no problems everything worked great and they were amazing with helping with maintenance. (I also had another system put in by them in my previous car).
In March 2024 I noticed that one of my speakers were crackling. Unfortunately, Tacoma was booked out but had me go to the one in Puyallup, WA. I asked them to look at my wiring and the speaker itself to see which was the problem. They ultimately ended up switching both the front speakers out, all of my problems started then. I believe her name was Bri, worked on my car and when my brother dropped it off to me the door panels for both front doors were not put on correctly - they were not lined up and she cracked the chrome parts to where the control panels are and broke the unlock/lock mechanism on the front passenger side door. The speakers were also way louder than the previous ones (bought exact same speakers) and still crackling intermittently. Due to working 72 hour shifts, I took the car in two days later and the store/shop manager took a look at my car. They ended up putting the panels back on right and ordering a few things to fix what was broken.
The following day I was driving my car when I heard a pop from the trunk and the speakers dimmed down in volume. Shortly after there was SMOKE coming from my back seat. I pulled over to see what was going on, opened my trunk and the amplifier was ON FIRE. Long story short, FD was called, put the fire out and my car was deemed a total loss not to mention all of the stuff in my trunk was done for. I have reached out to Best Buy Cooperate, Puyallup Best Buy management and who ever I could speak to on the phone MULTIPLE times but have been given nothing but the run around with no one willing to work with me.
I know it doesn't mean much but I have been an established customer with best buy for almost a decade and it is disappointing that not only are they allowing this girl to continue to work on cars but they are not willing to assist with something they are at fault for.

This best buy is always quick to provide service.
They sadly have a lot of wide open empty space. They seem to always be reducing their product offerings and relying more on just being an online pick up store.
The building is clean, well kept, and full of well trained staff so overall the experience is positive and woeth going if you like to shop in person.

The staff at Best Buy is so helpful! Even when my item wasn't available in store, they took care of ordering for me and let me know when it came in! I love my new camera!

I don't shop here often, but they had the headphones my husband asked for for Father's Day. I checked in for curbside pickup, not wanting to take my 5 year old nephew in, and the check-in doesn't give you any kind of time frame. After waiting almost 10 minutes, there was no one and we were done waiting.
Into the store we went, where 3 or 4 people asked if they could assist me and after being told I was outside waiting but was done doing that, they kindly nodded and walked away. It would not have been so bad if they hadn't all congregated at the pick-up register and explained to each other why no one could have done it.
The worst pick up experience I've had with them as of yet. Hoping it's the last.

I try not to shop unless I have to. And my only reason for saying that is because I find the place 'cold'. Cold meaning the atmosphere. Rarely does a employee approach to see if I need help..even though it's obvious that I do. Let alone finding someone to help. Even at checkout it's not warm. Just my experience. But I will say the store is super clean everytime, shelves are stocked beautifully.
