TERRIBLE. I had issues with them and called them but stayed waiting on the phone for 40 minutes. Then they couldn't find me as a customer. But has no problem taking money from me until I am in negative. I never paid for my checking account in 8 years and now they cant find me and charged me for my checking account.

1st Security Bank is merging with Anchor Savings Bank. Our family were founding depositors back when Anchors Savings was Aberdeen Federal Savings. Well over a 100 years our family has been with this bank. Well we just got the info for the merger...news is. 1.Free checking..gone 2. Fee's for everything. 3.All our passcodes will not transfer 4. All our auto pays will have to be set up again. 5. More and more stuff that says we don't really want you here. Why make this so hard? So since we have to make new passcodes, set up everything all over again and wait for new ATM cards, we have decided to CLOSE out with Anchor over the next few weeks and move everything to Obee Credit Union with whom we have banked with for loans for years, they have stellar customer service and rates. My husband has banked with Anchor since his dad set up his 1st saving's account over 60 years ago. Great job 1st Security Bank, my friendly local bank is being merged with you. I hope you are a good employer, the employees are amazing and we will miss them, but I do refuse to pay fees for every single thing....

This bank is all about finding ways to take your hard earned money. If you pay your bill later in the day, it will not be credited until a later day (I had it credited up to a week later.) They then charge a late fee. Furthermore, I tried to pay off the loan last month. They then charged extra interest. When I tried to pay off that interest, they force you to call. When I called, my options were to pay over the phone with a $10 transaction fee or to write a check where they would continue to charge interest until they credited the account from the check. At this point, I would have owed less than a dollar but I was told that I would have to continue to pay that interest and if I was late paying it, a $35 late fee would be assessed. Horrible bank to do business with. STAY AWAY at all costs.

The people of this branch treat you like family. They are the cream of the crop. Love to do my banking there have been with them sense they were the credit union of teamsters.
