Surprised by the activation and transfer information. So much for upgrade to a few we phone. I’d like to know how to avoid those costs in the future

Hats off to Rachel and Collin who solved a very big problem. Associates at the Verizon store in Pullman have been working on this issue since the day after Christmas! My flip phone died on Christmas Eve. The phone was on warranty and Collin (who is now at the Portland store) was the first one who worked on it. Verizon was supposed to send a replacement, but that phone was out of stock, and they maintained that they could only send me a replacement exactly like the phone that had stopped working. Ten days later the Verizon system cancelled that order without any notification! When I went back to the store to find out why I hadn't received my phone yet, Collin got the order reinstated. I was told that Verizon would send me a new phone within 5-10 days, that I would receive email notification when it shipped, and that I would be required to send the dead phone back to them. Two weeks later I returned to the store and Rachel got on the case. She contacted tech services and this time we had someone at Verizon tech services who knew what she was doing. There was no way Verizon was going to send me new phone, so Rachel and the tech worked out that I would get credit for my old phone and I left the store with an upgrade that is much better than the phone I had before. Rachel was wonderful and understanding, patient and persistent. Thank you again Rachel, for all your help! Rachel also told me how I could transfer all my contacts from an older 3G phone (which I could not do from the phone that died) using Bluetooth and I was able to do that!

I was having a good day until I went here. I’ve been a customer with Verizon since 2019 and I have purchased a lot of devices for school, life, etc. i was greeted with a not so warm welcome and the person was not polite or friendly at all. I literally left in tears because of the energy I was given and how upsetting the interaction was. Typically Verizon employees are friendly and helpful, especially since they are working in sales. This girl just looked at me with a blank, cold stare most of the time like I was an idiot and wanted me to gtho of the store. I hope she was just having a bad day maybe and took it out on me a little bit, and she doesn’t act like this normally. Towards the end after I made a purchase she was a bit nicer but not much. I hope staff see this and can do better next time because other people also have day to day struggles and don’t need it taken out on them when they come in.

I went in the day before Christmas to get help with transferring data from an old phone to a new one. I worked with Adrianna primarily but all the staff were pleasant and got the job done. So much better customer service than trying to wrestle with the Verizon website. Much appreciated!

Drove all the way up to Pullman for the s23 Ultra (Green) on a Sunday and met Will R. He was completely respectful, patience with me and went out and beyond to help me set up for a new phone without a trade in, he’s very kind in what you may not expect to face in credit approval and doesn’t make you feel bad he has a great way to communicate with you about things how to improve them and not shut you down. But because I knew what I was expecting I still ended a little short by 5-8 dollars. And he took a personal toll on his sales end for me to allow me to cover my expenses with my limit. I thank him for that, I saved for this phone for the 3 weeks and I’m glad I was able to be given a shot to own the 23 ultra. Thank you Will, I think you deserve a lot of credit for your efforts to your customers!

Will was personable, explained my phone was outdated and was not compatible to the recent OS update. Listened to my needs/want in cost, phone type, and provided available purchase and plan options. When i asked questions he gave to the point answers, and was polite the entire visit. I would visit this store again, and recommend to others.

5 out of 5. Employee Rachel: 10 out of 5. She just spent a half hour finding a cheap solution to a seemingly unfixable issue. My 7 year old phone has been brought back from the brink. I was sure it was curtains - but apparently not! And she is very pleasant to get help from!
