“I rolled up to their door with a problem with my bike. They were able to get me in right away, and discovered a more pressing problem. Fixed everything and taught me some things in the process. I know on a busier day that might not happen, but I was impressed with everyone who works there—their knowledge and friendliness made me feel in very good hands. “Wildernest was great! We love this little outdoor gear and apparel shop. They have many brand names and a main section upfront and another in the back. The staff was really friendly and helpful and offered great advice and recommendations. We ended up buying a couple of shirts, stickers and a shoulder bag. “This is one of the best disc golf shops I've ever been to. HUGE disc selection. HUGE accessories selection. You disc golfers in the Bremerton, Seattle, Tacoma area are fortunate to have this. There are tons of disc inventory of even the new brands here. I bag Kastaplast and there was a great selection in every mold, even the new Krut first runs here. You will find the up and coming brands, too, and not just a few of them. He has a great selection of the OTB stamped discs. Great selection of bags, he even has the Grip Mcbeth commemorative, Eagle McMahon, and Lizotte's gorilla bag. Sling bags, beginner bags, small, medium, large bags. Hard to find bags like the Lat 64 Easy-Go Backpack. He likes anything disc golf. If someone tells him about it, he gets it. Don't want to spend the money for a baseball net to practice? He's got this Infinite Disc towel thing with a picture of a basket that you can hang from a tree to practice putting, driving, etc. How about a handy telescoping 1 meter measuring stick for accurate OB relief? Mini's and macros galore. Tons of stuff. You just need to check it out. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!”

“My daughter signed up for soccer for the first time, and it's been a "few" years since I've played, so I wanted to shop at a store where employees would take some time to show me around and explain what to look for in the various items we needed.I've always had a great experience at various Big 5s, so I stopped into the Poulsbo store first because it was closest. The employees at Poulsbo were clearly NOT interested in helping us out, even though I spoke with two separate people and asked specifically for help. I told my kids I'd rather take my business elsewhere, to a store with good customer service.We drove to Silverdale, and they did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in, two employees and a manager immediately greeted us and asked what they could help us find. I explained that my daughter had just signed up for soccer, and I would like help finding appropriate cleats, shin guards, socks, etc.. The manager showed us around the store, gave us pointers on what to look for, different features (some of which may not be necessary and added expense), and gave us space to look. While we looked, he and his employees checked in with us frequently enough so we felt helped, but not in an annoying way. :) We left the store with everything we needed and some water shoes, because we'd been meaning to get some of those anyway. I told the manager about how we ended up at his store and thanked him and his staff for the great service.”

“There's a ton of cool stuff in this place, and the gentleman i see there each time is very cool, but it certainly does suffer from that mall pricing model that keeps everything just out of reach for me. It can be rewarding to check here first though before the other sports shops in the mall. Twice I've found hats on clearance that are still $35-40 a hundred yards away it's wild!”
