Normally I get good service here but yesterday I did not, I had a 2:45 appointment and I got there early and everything. To my dismay they told me that there was an hour and a half wait to be seen, despite my appointment. I was frustrated and walked out of the office for some fresh air and to clear my head. When I came back in they told me that they had cancelled my appointment and I couldn't reschedule until February. I don't understand what is up with this system....

After months of searching for a new Primary Care doctor and not having an ounce of luck in being able to find someone that will take my insurance AND accept new patients AND be located in Kitsap County.. I finally found Franciscan Medical Group in Poulsbo that would. However, their first available appt was quite literally over a year out. I scheduled it anyway but knew I needed to keep looking. One day I came across Peninsula Community Health. I called for an appt not expecting much since the reviews here aren’t entirely raving. Much to my surprise they had availability for my needs in just 8 weeks. EIGHT WEEKS. So I snagged it. The day I arrived and checked in everything was smooth and the front desk gal was so kind. The ONLY reason I didn’t give this review 5 stars is because from the scheduled appt time to the time I actually saw and talked to my doctor the wait time was almost 2hrs. I get it though, sometimes doctor appts run behind and that’s probably what I get for scheduling a late afternoon appt. While a smidge frustrated all my annoyances went out the window after I met my new doctor Lisa Dropp for the first time. SHE. IS. AMAZING. So kind, energetic, empathetic, listens, cares and just all around gentle and lovely. I don’t typically leave reviews but I left PCHS knowing I would need to for this. From the day I called and the gal who scheduled me to the front desk ladies who checked me in on two different occasions, to the physician assistant and of course including the doctor and even the phlebotomist EVERYONE I interacted w/at PCHS was absolutely wonderful. They are all kind, calm, gentle, easy to work with and professional. As someone who also works the front desk myself, I know it’s NOT easy dealing w/people all day every day. But everyone at the PCHS Poulsbo location made a really great impression on me. I whole heartedly appreciated being able to get an appt in such a short amount of time (8 wks compared to a year is HUGE.) and I’m SO grateful my new doctor was a available to take new patients because she is great! In the future when I make appts I’ll know to take the day off again for them just in case things are running behind. Thankfully I already had these two particular days off but just a reminder to myself I may not be able to squeeze a doctor appt in on a lunch break, hah. All to say, thank you PCHS for existing ?

I needed dental work done immediately, and I've seen them several times since then; they are always professional and friendly and funny. Their workmanship is unequaled, I am so thankful for their professional and human services. ? ??

This was my 3rd visit with over an hour long wait. Just walked out. The person checking in, in front of me, was desperately trying to find out the results of their blood test, for non-hojkins lymphoma. They could see that the results were ready online but nobody ever reached out to them. Scary. They deliver the opposite care. Never going back.

my experience has always been good with all staff. wait times for scheduled appointments can be high. pharmacy lady is nice to you if you're nice to her, chumps

This would be a higher score but the pharmacy is the worst. They are so slow and the woman that works there has to be the rudest and unfriendly person that has every lived.

Would be higher if they could answer the phones. I called at 10am used the call back option and didn't here from anyone until I called back at 1pm. I sat on the phone for 30 minutes in the que. When it started ringing like someone was going to pick up, their phone hung up on me. This is a common issue I've been facing when trying to call for appointments.

Good Drs. Good care, in house pharmacy and lab. Drs Dropp and St Cyr have given very good care and have a kind, efficient manner.

I made an appointment back in November for an urgent health issue and was told the earliest appointment with a doctor was in January. When I showed up for the appointment, on time, I was told that the wait would be an hour and I couldn't leave even to grab some lunch. There was no way I was going to be able to hang out at the doctors for several hours on my lunchbreak without food so I tried to reschedule it. The next available appointment was nearly two months away, and they couldnt guaruntee I wouldnt have to wait over an hour then either. I decided to just go back to the doctors clinic instead. Their schedule is busier, but they at least stick to appts or let you grab lunch when the wait is this extreme. Just a terrible clinic.

I can never get in when I need to and I have had the worst experience with the doctors there. And god forbid if you need to be seen gif a med follow up because you won’t be get seen!

I was very pleased with how helpful the receptionist were were check in these lady's were very helpful professional and very friendly seeing the doctor soon so I can't rate that yet
