18680 WA-305, Poulsbo“We just left this hotel after two nights. What a gem! Fairfield Inn is my new favorite affordable hotel. We were warmly greeted by Paige Vargo at the front desk. She was super helpful, friendly and efficient. She gave us a great room with a view of Mount Rainer, I had some specific asks and she accommodated everything with a smile.
The hotel is spotless, nicely appointed, with a gym and an indoor pool. A nice buffet breakfast is out every morning, with some variety. Scrambled eggs. Bacon or sausage. A breakfast sandwich. Oatmeal. Cereals. And two waffle stations. Coffee and tea, yogurt, fresh fruit. The breakfast room is open and bright.
When we left today Paige was on duty again and she remembered we were there for a wedding. Asked how it was. We really feel like we were well taken care of. Other staff we met were also friendly - the man who delivered extra pillows said he heard we needed more ammunition for a pillow fight. I felt like they would all help if we had any problems, like they would all be there to help.
We’re fussy people and we have no complaints.
Thanks Paige and staff. I hope we can come back here some day.
Nearby activities: The town of Poulsbo is well worth a visit. It was settled by Vikings from Norway. There are lots of small shops - some you the usual touristy things, and some with original local art. There are also great coffee shops and bakeries. And the waterfront is beautifully filled with sailboats. The people are so warm and friendly!”

19801 7th Ave NE, Poulsbo“We enjoyed our one night stay at the guesthouse inn and suite in Poulsbo,WA. Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, free parking, free Wifi, continental breakfast, close to the waterfront Marine and the shops in town. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. My only complaint (small complaint-my personal opinion): The continental breakfast only had one meat selection... sausage patties and no scrambled eggs. No bacon? We will come back and stay at this location again sometime soon.
Rooms: The room we stayed in was clean. The hotel was recently upgraded, I believe. The room service staff were very pleasant.
Walkability: There are two stores, several restaurants, a coffe shop, and a nice (small) park within walking distance of the hotel.”
“Rooms: The rooms are clean and have a fridge, microwave, coffee setup. We appreciated all three for our leftovers from dinners the next day for our lunches or our morning coffee before breakfast.
The bathroom was clean, had a hairdryer and shelves for towels and our toiletries.
Nearby activities: Poulsbo is a friendly town. We came for the Viking Fest. Although we arrived a few days earlier. The downtown area has many shops for the tourist to enjoy with a Scandinavian theme. It has a wonderful walkway along the bay that goes amongst the woods. It was a lovely easy hike.
We were surprised with how many restaurants, grocery stores, fast food places Poulsbo had. I found a great Lego shop, my husband love the record store. We picked a rhododendron to take home too.
Safety: The hotel was off the road in a quiet area of town. During the day the were many staff members out and about the grounds. The motel magnets messages inside the room’s door for the guests to put on the outside of their indicating DO NOT DISTURB or PLEASE SERVICE.
Walkability: We could walk to many different locations easily during our visit, from downtown to fast food, or restaurants across from the motel.
Food & drinks: Breakfast is provided with choices of waffles, cereals, muffins, fruit, juice, coffee and tea.”
